Hello people!

I'm back with another blockbuster movie of the century; this time, it's a crime/action movie you don't want to miss! Have you ever watched a movie where you felt like the main actor was too good for the role? Goodness gracious! Like, they literally played the character more than the director could have ever imagined? This iz da Movieee guys!!
Aurora Ribero plays the major role in this one; the name of this blockbuster is The Shadow Strays, released in 2024. Aurora, codenamed 13, is a seventeen-year-old one-man army who takes down a whole drug syndicate for eleven-year-old Monji (Ali Fikry).
13 starts out as an assassin sent to Japan to wipe out an entire mob. During the mission, an innocent woman is wounded in the crossfire and 13 becomes distracted trying to save her. She is gunned down in the process and her mentor, Umbra (Hana Malasan), intervenes, rescuing her. However, 13 is suspended as her mission is counted as a failure.
While in suspension, 13 meets Monji whose mother is killed by a drug syndicate, and bonds with the boy. However, when Monji is kidnapped, all hell breaks loose as 13 unleashes chaos and is hell-bent on bringing down the drug empire to find Monji.

What (or who) I love most in this movie is the character of 13, girl is the definition of strength and defiance! And I find the fact that even though she is hardcore trained to be an assassin, she finds a way to retain her conscience and does the right thing. However, sadly, Monji still ends up dying, which of course, is what I hate most about the movie. I mean, after everything? The boy just goes ahead and dies.
One of my favorite scenes is when 13 storms Haga’s club in search of Monji, no guns, no armor, just her fist, and she leaves a trail of dead bodies including Haga's (Agra Piliang). She fights with the strength of a thousand men and walks away unruffled. Her entire personality captivates me!

You can find this movie on Netflix, and I hope that you give it a good two hours and twenty-four minutes of your time; it won't be a waste!
