¡Hola amigos! Hoy me gustaría hablarles de una serie que estuve viendo recientemente y la cual me pareció muy interesante. Se trata de FROM, una serie de terror y ciencia ficción creada por John Griffin y estrenada el pasado 2022 por HBO+, esta serie consta actualmente de dos temporadas, cada una de 10 episodios y me animé a hablar de ella ya que próximamente se estará estrenando la temporada número 3.

It is FROM, a horror and science fiction series created by John Griffin and premiered last 2022 by HBO+, this series currently consists of two seasons, each of 10 episodes and I decided to talk about it since season 3 will be premiering soon.

FROM narra la historia de la familia Matthew y un grupo de sobrevivientes que habitan en un pequeño pueblo remoto, un lugar del cual parece imposible escapar. Dicho lugar se encuentra envuelto por fuerzas desconocidas que impiden que los habitantes logren abandonarlo, ya que por más que intentan huir, siempre son redirigidos de vuelta al mismo pueblo.

**FROM tells the story of the Matthew family and a group of survivors who live in a small remote town, a place from which escape seems impossible. This place is enveloped by unknown forces that prevent the inhabitants from leaving it, because no matter how hard they try to flee, they are always redirected back to the same town.

Pero, quedarse atrapados no es lo peor que les pueda suceder, porque lo realmente malo sucede cuando cae la noche, ya que del inmenso bosque que rodea al pueblo emergen criaturas nocturnas despiadadas y hambrientas capaces de matar y devorar a sus víctimas, los habitantes del pueblo las llaman monstruos, pero en realidad no se sabe con certeza que son. solo se sabe que poseen una apariencia humana, se muestran amigables y siempre llevan una sonrisa malvada en sus labios.

But, being trapped is not the worst thing that can happen to them, because the really bad thing happens when night falls, because from the vast forest surrounding the village emerge ruthless and hungry nocturnal creatures capable of killing and devouring their victims, the villagers call them monsters, but in reality it is not known with certainty what they are. it is only known that they have a human appearance, they are friendly and always wear an evil smile on their lips.

No son el tipo de criaturas básicas que se lanzan encima de su presa al instante, poseen una inteligencia superior, ellos son pacientes y esperan el momento indicado para atacar, les gusta hablar y manipular a las personas débiles, se valen de cualquier artimaña con el objetivo de entrar a sus mentes y sobretodo que les permitan entrar a sus casas, por eso es muy común escucharlos por las noches tocar las puertas y ventanas de las casas de los habitantes del pueblo, ellos solo están esperando que les abran la puerta y una vez que esto sucede es cuando revelan su verdadero rostro monstruoso y se desata el terror, ocurriendo lo inevitable.

Así que los desafortunados habitantes de este lugar deberán luchar día a día por mantenerse con vida, enfrentando todas las adversidades que los rodean.

They are not the kind of basic creatures that jump on their prey instantly, they have a superior intelligence, they are patient and wait for the right moment to attack, they like to talk and manipulate weak people, they use any trickery in order to enter their minds and above all to be allowed to enter their homes, That is why it is very common to hear them at night knocking on the doors and windows of the houses of the inhabitants of the town, they are just waiting for them to open the door and once this happens is when they reveal their true monstrous face and terror is unleashed, occurring the inevitable.

So the unfortunate inhabitants of this place will have to fight day by day to stay alive, facing all the adversities that surround them.

A medida que van transcurriendo los episodios van sucediendo cosas cada vez mas confusas y extrañas, un poco difíciles de entender, sin duda FROM es de ese tipo de series que te dejan con mas preguntas que respuestas, pero si eres del tipo de persona amante del terror y el misterio sé que te va gustar.

Solo espero que la temporada que se acerca sea más clara y podamos entender muchas cosas más.

As the episodes go by, things are happening more and more confusing and strange, a little difficult to understand, without a doubt FROM is that kind of series that leaves you with more questions than answers, but if you are the type of person who loves horror and mystery I know you will like it.
