¡Saludos amigos! El dia de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un Fan-Art de uno de los personajes de la pelicula "La novia de Chucky" (1998). Dirigida por Ronny Yu y escrita por Don Mancini.

Greetings friends! Today I want to share with you a Fan-Art of one of the characters from the movie "Bride of Chucky" (1998). Directed by Ronny Yu and written by Don Mancini.

Su nombre es Tiffany Valentine (Interpretada por Jennifer Tilly) quien es una mujer que fué asesinada por su novio, el asesino en serie Charles Lee Ray "Chucky'". Sin embargo el alma de Tiffany es transferida al cuerpo de una muñeca a traves de un hechizo vudú hecho por el mismo Chucky luego de matarla.

Her name is Tiffany Valentine (Played by Jennifer Tilly) who is a woman who was murdered by her boyfriend, serial killer Charles Lee Ray "Chucky'". However, Tiffany's soul is transferred to the body of a doll through a voodoo spell cast by Chucky himself after killing her.

¡Bien! Ahora que ya conocemos un poco de Tiffany voy a hablarles un poco de la ilustración y su proceso creativo. Por lo que empezaré a decir que la ilustración de Tiffany fué hecha usando la técnica del pixel art, arte digital.

Good! Now that we know a little about Tiffany, I'm going to talk to you a little about the illustration and her creative process. So I will start by saying that Tiffany's illustration was made using the pixel art technique, digital art.

Como pueden ver en esta imagen de abajo, ese fué el boceto inicial.

As you can see in this image below, that was the initial sketch.

Una capa más abajo agregué todo lo que seria el color base.

One layer below I added everything that would be the base color.

Hice algunos limites en donde ubicaria las sombras y la iluminación, jugando con la paleta de colores de la imagen original, como pueden observar todos los colores son planos.

I made some limits on where I would place the shadows and lighting, playing with the color palette of the original image, as you can see all the colors are flat.

Así qué encima de estos colores planos comencé a realizar el tramado de pixeles, dandole asi una fusión a los colores entre sí, generando un efecto de gradación entre ellos.

So on top of these flat colors I began to do the pixel dithering, thus giving the colors a fusion with each other, generating a gradation effect between them.

Lo que le daria textura y dimensión al rostro, cabe recalcar que tanto las sombras, como la iluminación juegan un papel muy importante dentro de la ilustración.

What would give texture and dimension to the face, it should be noted that both shadows and lighting play a very important role in the illustration.

Una vez que he conseguido hacer el coloreado de todo el rostro, continuo con el cuello y los otros elementos que completan el rostro, como los ojos y la boca.

Once I have managed to color the entire face, I continue with the neck and the other elements that complete the face, such as the eyes and mouth.

Tengo que decir que para colorear los ojos y la boca, hice una capa por encima del boceto y las otras capas, ya que de esa manera ajustaria bien la posición de los ojos y la boca, para que asi no queden mal ubicados los ojos o la boca.

I have to say that to color the eyes and mouth, I made a layer above the sketch and the other layers, since that way I would adjust the position of the eyes and mouth well, so that the eyes or mouth would not be misplaced. mouth.

Y para finalizar, coloree el cabello, jugando igualmente con los colores de la imagen original y usando la misma técnica del inicio, aplicar color base, sombra, iluminación y tramado de pixeles.

And finally, color the hair, also playing with the colors of the original image and using the same technique from the beginning, applying base color, shadow, lighting and pixel dithering.

No me enfoqué mucho en el fondo, ya que la ilustracion en si ocupaba casi todo el lienzo y solo añadi un color negro al pequeño espacio que quedaba de fondo.

I didn't focus much on the background, since the illustration itself took up almost the entire canvas and I only added a black color to the small space that was left in the background.
