As a fan of the so-called "Seventh Art," I have my personal tastes when it comes to genres, and I've always said that my favorites are horror and crime novels. But I must admit that I also greatly admire when films and series on different platforms take us beyond entertainment and make us reflect and open our eyes to realities we may not be familiar with or that aren't part of our daily lives.

Stalin has been one of the most recognized and produced world leaders in cinema, he has made several films of different visions. Months ago I saw an old movie about him made in 1992 and starring Robert Duvall. In it they show the leader, brother, husband and father so genuinely that I came to empathize with the character.

I haven’t seen a movie like this for a long time, I mean the kind of movies that you know how they are going to end but the way to that end is so beautiful that you don’t stop watching because you want to see that ending that you know what it is.
