And this is an important point that sometimes films don't know how to handle, and that is not to bombard the viewer with information, it frustrates me a lot when I come across stories that in the first 20min already told you everything you need to know to understand what is coming, when they can rather build the story along the scenes of the film, especially when we're talking about stories that simulate everyday life, because it takes away from the naturalness of the film, and that's something that this story maintains impeccably, because it's not until the middle of the delivery that you as a viewer finally get the whole picture of what's going on, and it's here that you then understand the first scene, even if you already saw that backstory coming.

The creativity in how the spirit possesses the cop in the presence of water and leaving the body at the sight of blood was quite interesting. I also like how well the two played in the scenes with the female lead Song Ji-an starred by Lee Hyeri.

I found the way the director captures the angels of that year somewhat mesmerizing... you can tell this is personal to him. You can feel that every choice is carefully selected from the soundtrack.. everything seems to be pulled directly from his memories, the attention to detail is amazing.. i think everything is very accurate to the TV shows recreated, everything looks very real.. it feels like one of his most sincere and intimate works to date. One of the things that really made me think was the exploration of the duality of what Hollywood is all about, on the one hand, you have a glamorous world with cool parties and spectacular opening nights.. but on the other hand, there is the struggle with irreverence and the harsh reality that fame is fleeting and can disappear at any moment.

As you know my moviegoer tastes lean more toward the horror/horror genre and this year a few movies came out in this category, but unfortunately for me, they didn't make the cut. So before I start posting I want to say that I will divide the structure of this post into 3 parts, the ones I recommend, the ones I don't recommend, and the ones I saw but were not included in my old list mentioned at the beginning of my post.

Well for me, this movie is not worth the hype it's getting. After I finished watching the movie I actually questioned myself what the movie was all about, what was the motive behind the plot, what purpose is the movie for, what message did it deliver and what is the moral lesson integrated into the storyline? My answer to all these questions came up negative except for the fact that the theme of greed was explored a little in this movie.

Obviously it's too early to pass judgment, and I admit that in many ways I still think Dragon Ball GT is a much more appealing sequel to Z, however, regarding how Daima serves as a love letter to the entire franchise, reconnecting with the more adventurous aspects of Dragon Ball without leaving behind the flashy combats we saw in the more mature stages of Goku's story.

The cast of the miniseries seems perfect to me, where Miles is played by Charlie Plummer, while the role of Alaska was played by Kristine Froseth. These two characters are the protagonists of our story and are among my favorites of the entire production. “The Colonel” was played by Denny Love. We also have other actors and actresses who play supporting characters in the story, but who play an important role in the development of the plot and who do it really well. Although I considered the performances to be good, at times there were scenes that I didn't connect with as much, but this didn't ruin my final experience with the series Looking for Alaska.

I confess that I didn't read the synopsis when I found it, so it was quite a surprise. At the beginning we can see a teenage Laura and Michael and the beginning of their relationship, I thought it all happened in a hurry, but it was because they were going to make a time jump to Laura's current life in London. That really caught my attention and I wanted to know what would happen to these characters. I liked that Michael told Laura to follow her dreams beyond the pain of losing her and she did.
Congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you to everyone posting in Movies and TV Shows! We look forward to the next report and highlighting even more of you.
Thanks guys 💕
