To be objective, this film left me with a bittersweet feeling. On the one hand, I really appreciated the unsettling atmosphere that Ishana Shyamalan manages to create, being that it is his first work and that he has the pressure of what his father once was on top of him. The Irish forest becomes another character, a green and dark labyrinth that grabs you from the beginning. The feeling of being constantly watched, even when you don't see anything, is palpable and keeps you on edge for much of the film. The setting and cinematography are, without a doubt, among the best.

A beautiful and at the same time unexpectedly sad story, set at Christmas time, it shows us that love can transcend life, changes, differences, problems, fears and even time. It is so beautiful the interpretation of both actors and the way they play the characters, the almost magical way they have to love each other and make you feel it even out of the screen, both did a great job. Without a doubt it is a story that starts in a way but you don't expect how it will end, it didn't make me cry but I was moved by the truth that is revealed and that gives sense to all this story. I recommend it if you love these love stories that happen by chance and leave a beautiful message, although if you are very sensitive be prepared to cry.

I think the original idea of this movie was very ingenious, it managed to be fun and not fall into absurdity. I was surprised to see actors like Jack Black, which is synonymous with guaranteed laughs and I wasn't wrong, but I was super surprised by the participation of the singer Post Malone. Well, to tell the truth, it did fall into the absurd in some scenes, but it was all very entertaining to watch so it's not a complaint.

Although it is a film about a story set in a time that was atrocious, full of injustice and pain, it is also romantic and hopeful. The most important value that this film seeks to highlight is kindness and that we must help others and that is the value that grandmother Sara wants to transmit to her grandson Julian who is named after the young man who helped her survive.

The soundtrack is a curious aspect, both its openings and endings are very pleasant and have extremely catchy melodies and an excellent rhythm, the problem with this section arises in the face of the fights because during them it never gets good. use of this section, ergo, they are orphaned of any kind of musical accompaniment that highlights these moments of tension.

I somehow liked the acting in the movie but I liked the main character the most. How naive he was in everything which felt so real because most young people don’t know how Ponzi schemes work so the moment they start earning about $1 from just a little investment, they feel on top of the world. And for them, that’s all they need to invest even their family’s money.

The aliens themselves, on the other hand, seemed too familiar in appearance. I wasn't frightened in any way by their so-called advanced technology or relentless pursuit. There was no palpable dread anywhere. Neither did I find them mysterious. It seemed like an apocalypse joke.

This second part of the series focuses on threats a little more “domestic” and is that in the first had to do with terrorists in the Middle East, now focus on Mexican cartels and border management. It is here where Josefina comes into action, she will be the key piece in this new mission that has no other purpose than to kill the leader of the organization. There is something that the series continues to maintain and it is that deep struggle that these agents surely have in their lives when choosing their personal life and family over the duty they have with their country. This is something that Joe suffers in his own flesh because he seems to be the one who sacrifices the most.
