"The Human Voice" by Pedro Almodovar. It is a film that tells us about a woman who lives in her house full of art and luxury, she comments on her four-year relationship with a man she loves very much, she talks about every detail she lived with him. As the story progresses, it is understood that her beloved has not appeared for three days, the protagonist is locked in a game that she accepted from the beginning, now she is being affected by this condition. This situation is the impetus for a series of subsequent acts as a result of a situation of lovelessness in the body and soul of a woman.

“La voz humana” de Pedro Almodóvar. Es una película que nos habla de una mujer que hace vida en su casa llena de arte y lujos, ella comenta como ha sido su relación de cuatro años con un hombre que ama mucho, ella habla de cada detalle que vivió junto a él. A medida que el relato avanza se comprende de que su amado tiene tres días sin aparecer, la protagonista se encuentra encerrada en un juego que ella aceptó desde un principio, ahora está siendo afectada por esa condición. Esta situación es el impulso para una serie de actos posteriores como resultado ante una situación de desamor en el cuerpo y alma de una mujer.

From the beginning of the film, in the way the narration of the film is shown, I consider that it is linked to modern cinema, although later comes a narrating voice that tells me the situation of the relationship that the protagonist has with a partner who has been accompanying her for four years. The distancing of the work and the spectator is, as the story is narrated, we get soaked to the point that we understand the situation through which the character is going through. The director Pedro Almodóvar, in view of his trajectory, has an experience in the domain of cinematographic language, so we can see a linguistic self-consciousness in the way of narrating.

Desde el principio de la película, en la forma como se muestra la narración del filme, considero que se vincula con el cine moderno, aunque posteriormente llega una voz narradora que me cuenta la situación ante la relación que tiene la protagonista con una pareja que la viene acompañando por cuatro años. El distanciamiento de la obra y el espectador está, a medida que nos narran la historia nos vamos empapando hasta el punto que comprendemos la situación por la cual está pasando el personaje. El director Pedro Almodóvar. Ante su trayectoria tiene una experiencia en el dominio del lenguaje cinematográfico, por lo que podemos ver una autoconsciencia lingüística en la forma de narrar.

According to the origins of this film, the script is an adaptation of the libretto of a French play called "La Voix humaine" written by Jean Cocteau, in the main libretto the protagonist commits suicide, so I see Almodóvar represents death as the transformation or transmutation of the love that one had for a person from the emotional and material. Thus to be able to achieve internal and architectural liberation, this adaptation has much to do with the way the director considers that women think or act in this era (commented by Almodovar in an interview on the Youtube page, in the CulturaOcio channel - "Almodovar makes the leap to English with 'The Human Voice'").

Según los orígenes de esta película, el Guion es una adaptación del libreto de una obra de teatro francesa llamada “La Voix humaine “escrita Jean Cocteau, en el libreto principal la protagonista se suicida, por lo que veo Almodóvar representa la muerte como la transformación o la transmutación del amor que se tenía hacia una persona desde lo emocional y lo material. Así poder lograr la liberación interna y arquitectónica, esta adaptación tiene mucho que ver con la forma en que el director considera que piensa o actúa la mujer en esta época (comentado por Almodóvar por una entrevista en la página Youtube, en el canal de CulturaOcio - “Almodóvar da el salto al inglés con 'La voz humana'-”).

The way in which the shots are composed and how they are shown tells us of a non-hierarchical visual planning applied in some scenes, I could also see other scenes where the hierarchical composition was found, meaning that the director has a clear mastery of both classical and modern technique. A resource that contributes a lot in the narrative is the zenithal shot, every time this shot appears the protagonist is in a very high emotional point, so much so that thanks to this camera angle the viewer locates the character's apartment inside a shed.

La forma en que se compone los planos y como se muestran nos habla de una planificación visual no jerárquica que aplica en unas escenas, también pude ver otras escenas donde la composición jerárquica se encontraba, queriendo decir que el director tiene un dominio claro tanto de la técnica clásica como la moderna. Un recurso que aporta mucho en la narratividad es el plano cenital, cada vez que aparece este plano la protagonista está en un punto emocional muy elevado, tanto así que gracias a este Ángulo de cámara el espectador ubica el departamento del personaje dentro de un galpón.

With reference to the interview I mentioned in the previous paragraph, the director mentions the pleasure of being able to make a short film, thanks to the fact that this format allows him to be more creative and to have fewer restrictions at the moment of being creative. Con referencia a la entrevista que comente en el párrafo anterior, el director menciona el agrado de poder realizar un cortometraje, gracias a que este formato le permite ser más creativo y tener menos restricciones al momento de ser creativo. De esta forma, el director logra poder practicar su profesión en un espacio alternativo en el medio cinematográfico.

Finally, let's talk about the acting interpretation, in several scenes I could find the silence and the emotional evolution of the protagonist waiting for her lover who does not arrive, to the point of breaking glass objects outside the structure of the home. On the other hand, I also found spaces of theatricality that take me to classic cinema, to the point that the fourth wall is broken several times, as an example of interpretation we have the moment of the phone call.

Por último, hablaremos de la interpretación actoral, en varias escenas pude encontrar el silencio y la evolución emocional ante la espera de la protagonista por su amante que no llega, hasta el punto de empezar a romper objetos de vidrio a las afuera de la estructura del hogar. Por otro lado, también encontré espacios de teatralidad que me llevan al cine clásico, a tal punto que se llega a romper la cuarta pared varias veces, como ejemplo de interpretación tenemos el momento de la llamada telefónica.
