Greetings friends of Hive, I hope you are all very well, it is a wonderful pleasure to be able to make this post to all my Hive community, because here I come to tell you all the strategy and planning that was practiced from the audiovisual production team of Guarenas Flow to cover all the activities of the Caracas Blockchain Week.

Saludos amigos de Hive, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, es un maravilloso placer poder realizar este post a toda mi comunidad de Hive, ya que aquí les vengo a contar toda la estrategia y planificación que se practicó en desde el equipo de realización audiovisual de Guarenas Flow para cubrir todas las actividades de la Caracas Blockchain Week.

Years ago, as in 2016, I was able to participate in an urban music festival called the Festival del Otro Beta, which lives in Maracay, this festival was about different concerts for about 3 days, which we had to cover Ances, Yorman and myself, the three of us had the ability to record good shots, take pictures and edit, that made us an incredible team, really each of us had an experience to respect. Apart from our camera and knowledge, we also had an office in the Otro Beta cultural center, where there were three computers with the capacity to edit in Premiere Pro.

Hace años, como en el 2016, pude participar en un Festival de música urbana llamado el Festival del Otro Beta, el cual hace vida en Maracay, este festival trataba de diferentes conciertos por aproximadamente 3 días, el cual nos tocaba cubrir a Ances, Yorman y mi persona, los tres teníamos la capacidad de grabar buenas tomas, realizar fotografías y editar, eso nos volvió un increíble equipo, de verdad que cada uno de nosotros teníamos una experiencia a respetar. Aparte de nuestra cámara y conocimiento, también teníamos una oficina en el centro cultural Otro Beta, donde había tres computadoras con capacidad para editar en Premiere Pro.

This experience was very educational for me, as I learned a lot about how to run an audiovisual department for an event of great magnitude, I remember that at that time my direct boss was Peeke, the director and owner of the strong Tiuna Cultural Park, he took us from Caracas to cover the event.

Esta experiencia fue muy educativa para mí, ya que aprendí mucho, sobre como llevar un departamento audiovisual para un evento de gran magnitud, me acuerdo de que en esa época mi jefe directos era Peeke, el director y dueño del parque Cultural Tiuna fuerte, él nos llevó desde Caracas para cubrir el evento.

Based on previous work experience with them, I felt that this team had the capacity to respond to the audiovisual exercises that we would be practicing for four consecutive days.

Según las experiencias laborales realizadas con anterioridad junto a ellos, consideré que este equipo tenía la capacidad de poder responder a los ejercicios audiovisual que practicaríamos por cuatro días consecutivos.

In order to develop this strategy I had to evaluate what equipment we had to safeguard the information, so I asked @psyshock if we could count on his laptop for the Media Manager activity (the person in charge of safeguarding and ordering the information so that the editor can locate the information at the time of postproduction and thus avoid wasting time watching shot by shot), our friend confirmed that we had already advanced the first objective.

Para poder desarrollar esta estrategia tenía que evaluar con que equipo contábamos para resguardar la información, así que le pregunte a @psyshock si podíamos contar con su laptop para la actividad de Media Manager (personaje que se encarga de resguardar y ordenar la información para que el editor pueda ubicar la información en el momento de la postproducción y así evitar perder tiempo viendo toma por toma), nuestro amigo nos confirmó así que ya teníamos adelantado el primero objetivo.

This photograph was taken in the university dining room, where we could establish the office, taking into account the roof and its fresh air to protect the equipment, also had a place with many connectors of loads, which benefited us to charge the batteries of the lights, it was really a good place to work.

Esta fotografía fue tomada en el comedor de la universidad, lugar donde pudimos establecer la oficina, tomando en cuenta el techo y su aire fresco para el resguardo de los equipos, también contaba con un lugar de muchos conectores de cargas, los cual nos beneficiaba para cargar las baterías de las luces, de verdad que fue un lugar correcto para poder laborar.

The second main driver was editing, clearly the audiovisual team does not have laptops that can be mobilized to be able to edit; however, we have cell phones that editing applications to do the job. Years ago it was not thought of this option. But recently a professor at the University of the Arts told us that we have to remove the professional taboo and take advantage of all the resources offered by technology, as it is achieving the same goal more effectively, so I dared to have the capcut app for editing these materials. Taking into account this decision, we were able to realize that we all had equipment suitable for editing photography and videos.

El segundo motor principal era la edición, claramente el equipo audiovisual no tiene laptops que se puedan movilizar para poder editar; sin embargo, tenemos teléfonos celulares que aplicaciones de edición para poder realizar el trabajo. Hace años atrás no fuera pensado en esta opción. Pero recientemente un profesor de la universidad de las artes nos comentó que tenemos que quitarnos el Tabú profesional y aprovechar todos los recursos que nos ofrece la tecnología, ya que se está logrando el mismo objetivo de manera más eficaz, por lo cual me atreví a contar con la app de capcut para la edición de estos materiales. Tomando en cuenta esta decisión, logramos darnos cuenta de que todos teníamos equipos aptos para editar fotografía y videos.

At the camera level, two people in the team already had their cameras, this benefited us a lot, and we had three reliable images that would provide us with a safe quality, on the other hand, we had Moisés' cell phone, which record at a correct quality for social networks.

A nivel de cámara, dos personas del equipo ya tenían sus cámaras, esto nos benefició mucho, y que contábamos con tres imágenes fiables que nos aportarían una calidad segura, por otro lado, teníamos el celular de Moisés, los cuales graban a una calidad correcta para las redes sociales.

The first day, which was the arrival, we analyzed the whole panorama and the personalities that would be accompanying the whole process, since it was a space where we met, we took the opportunity to take pictures and videos of everyone, safeguarding from the beginning the presence of each one in the event (all the people and communities of Hive are valuable, we always try to register everyone).

El primer día que fue la llegada analizamos todo el panorama y las personalidades que estarían acompañando todo el proceso, por ser un espacio donde nos encontrábamos se aprovechó de tomarle fotografías y videos a todos, resguardando dese un principio la presencia de cada uno en el evento (todas las personas y comunidades de Hive son valiosas, siempre se trata de registrar a todos)

On the second day, which would come to be the first day at UCAB we managed to implement everything planned, we left two editors at the table, assembling the video and photographic material of the previous day and the other two went to record the speakers or record support shots of UCAB and the organization, the third camera was assigned to the Stand to record any planned activity or interviews, on the other hand, was the friend @nahupuku making the photographs of the event. In this way, the team was able to record the whole process of the Caracas Blockchain Week without any problem. Below are some pictures of the speakers:

En el segundo día, que vendría siendo el primer día en la UCAB logramos aplicar todo lo planificado, dejamos dos editores en mesa, montando el material de video y fotográfico del día anterior y los otros dos fueron a grabar a los oradores o grabar tomas de apoyo de la UCAB y la organización, la tercera cámara se asignó al Stand para registrar cualquier actividad planificada o entrevistas, por otro lado, se encontraba el amigo @nahupuku realizando las fotografías del evento. De esta forma, el equipo pudo registrar todo el proceso de la Caracas Blockchain Week sin ningún problema. A continuación algunas fotografías de los oradores:

For us it was a great achievement to be able to cover all the experiences of the speakers and also those of the booth.

The following day, with the permission of the organization, we covered the Summit where we had to record most of the speeches and interviews that @enrique89 was telling us about, so we approached two work spaces.

El día siguiente con el permiso de la organización cubrimos el Summit donde nos tocó registrar la mayoría de las oratorias y entrevistas que nos iba indicando @enrique89 por lo cual abordamos dos espacios laborales.

As you can see, we were able to record all the activities planned by the two organizations (CBW/Summit), achieving the objective set from the beginning, which is to have trained personnel to not miss any activity. It is important to make clear the support of the lighting, equipment that helped us to decorate most of the presentations, unfortunately we could not illuminate all of them because there were only 3.

Como pueden ver se pudo registrar todas las actividades planteadas por las dos organizaciones (CBW/Summit) logrando el objetivo planteado desde un principio, que es tener el personal capacitado para no perder ninguna actividad, es importante dejar claro el apoyo de la iluminación, equipo que nos ayudó a decorar la mayoría de las presentaciones, lamentablemente no pudimos iluminar todas debido a que son 3 nada más.

Sé que muchos amigos de Hive leen mis post aunque no sea anuncien en votos o comentarios, a todos les agradezco por leer mis investigaciones a través de la criptomoneda y el audiovisual, esta información que hoy dejo es para que cualquier líder pueda tener una visión de como es que se cubre un gran evento desde la dirección audiovisual, también espero que comprendan que a pesar de que siempre trabajo solo, la realidad del medio audiovisual es que siempre es un equipo, qué dependiente del esfuerzo del proyecto y los equipos se convoca una cierta cantidad de personal, pido disculpa a toda la comunidad si mi excedí de personal, espero que comprendan que quería dar lo mejor de mí para mostrar a Hive de la mejor forma.

As director I am aware that there are many things to improve such as microphones and technology, but I know that everything is little by little, last year I only had a cell phone and now we are a great team, I bet for another year of much development and growth.

Como director estoy consiente que hay muchas cosas que mejorar como temas de micrófonos y tecnología, pero sé que todo es poco a poco, el año pasado solo tenía un celular y ahora somos un gran equipo, apuesto por otro año más de mucho desarrollo y crecimiento.
