Hola amigos de la comunidad de Humanitas,
espero que se encuentren bien el día de hoy. El cine es una de las más grandes formas de arte que sin importar el idioma puede llegar a dejarnos grandes lecciones en sus historias, soy una amante del cine y me encanta una buena película de drama o suspenso, pero también disfruto de las películas románticas que en algunas ocasiones me han hecho llorar o desear que me suceda algo cómo en sus historias de amor.

Cinema is one of the greatest art forms that regardless of the language can leave us great lessons in their stories, I am a movie lover and I love a good drama or suspense movie, but I also enjoy romantic movies that sometimes have made me cry or wish that something happens to me as in their love stories.

Hay películas de romance para todas las edades y etapas de la vida, antes disfrutaba mucho las películas de romance adolescente porque también era una joven que disfrutaba de ver el amor aunque fuera muy ficticio y lleno de clichés. Sin embargo hoy en día son pocas las películas nuevas que realmente me atrapan o que me hacen sentir emocionada que sean del género de romance. Supongo que mientras vas creciendo la perspectiva sobre el amor va cambiando así como me sucede a mi con las películas de amor.
There are romance movies for all ages and stages of life, I used to really enjoy teen romance movies because I was also a young girl who enjoyed seeing love even if it was very fictional and full of clichés. However nowadays there are few new movies that really grab me or make me feel excited that are in the romance genre. I guess as you get older your perspective on love changes just as it does for me with love movies.

One Day va sobre la relación entre dos jóvenes: Dexter y Emma, que se conocen en el día de su graduación y que pasan una noche juntos sin entrar en intimidad, simplemente hablan del otro un poco y luego se duermen juntos. Mi intención no es dar toda una reseña de la película ni mucho menos spoilers, pero es una película que muestra el amor en diferentes etapas de la vida de cualquier ser humano, desde la juventud donde todo parece ser posible y la adrenalina está latente, en la adultez de los 20s cuando empiezas a crear lo que deseas para tu vida mientras te enfrentas a un mundo que no era lo que esperabas desde la infancia, hay muchos cambios a través de los años y las personas no son las mismas que conocemos en la juventud a la adultez, vienen nuevas obligaciones y el trabajo siempre está presente, pero en esta historia de alguna manera los protagonistas logran verse al menos una vez al año.
My intention is not to give a full review of the film nor much less spoilers, but it is a film that shows love at different stages of the life of any human being, from youth where everything seems to be possible and adrenaline is latent, in adulthood in the 20s when you start to create what you want for your life while facing a world that was not what you expected since childhood, there are many changes through the years and people are not the same as we know them from youth to adulthood, new obligations come and work is always present, but in this story somehow the protagonists manage to see each other at least once a year.

La película nos enseña que debemos tomar la decisión que nos dicta el corazón aunque podamos salir lastimados, pero quedarnos con la idea de lo que pudo ser es algo que no tiene forma de ser eliminado de nuestra memoria. Se puede ver qué a raíz de una amistad puede surgir algo más y que debemos hablar claro sobre nuestros sentimientos antes de que sea demasiado tarde.
La vida no espera por nadie y aunque tengamos miedo, es mejor hacerlo con miedo y fallar que nunca darnos la oportunidad de ser feliz.

The film teaches us that we must make the decision that our heart dictates even though we may get hurt, but to keep the idea of what could have been is something that has no way of being erased from our memory. We can see that something more can come out of a friendship and that we must speak clearly about our feelings before it is too late.
Life waits for no one and even if we are afraid, it is better to do it with fear and fail than to never give ourselves a chance to be happy.

Es una historia muy romántica y a la vez muy triste, que podría sucederle a cualquiera y que después de verla quedas con la sensación de que las cosas tienen su momento y si no se aprovechan las oportunidades, el tiempo seguirá corriendo y luego ya será tarde. Esta es una de mis películas favoritas de romance, los actores tienen una química increíble y realmente se siente el amor, el miedo, el dolor y la esperanza dentro de esta historia de amor que a pesar del tiempo se dió.
It is a very romantic and at the same time very sad story that could happen to anyone and after watching it you are left with the feeling that things have their moment and if you don't take advantage of the opportunities, time will keep running and then it will be too late. This is one of my favorite romance movies, the actors have an incredible chemistry and you can really feel the love, the fear, the pain and the hope inside this love story that despite the time it happened.

Creo que es una película bastante famosa hoy en día e incluso hay una serie que sacaron hace poco basada en la misma historia, de las dos prefiero la película ya que el impacto que causó en mi no podría ser reemplazado por la serie que también esta buena pero no es lo mismo para mí.
Que difícil es conocer a la persona indicada en el momento erróneo y tomar la decisión de continuar con tu vida sabiendo que nunca te sentirás igual con nadie más, esto es algo que recuerdo haber pensado luego de terminar de ver la película.

I think it's a pretty famous movie nowadays and there is even a series that was recently released based on the same story, of the two I prefer the movie since the impact it made on me could not be replaced by the series which is also good but it's not the same for me. How hard it is to meet the right person at the wrong time and make the decision to move on with your life knowing that you will never feel the same with anyone else, this is something I remember thinking after I finished watching the movie.
