Hola amigos de la comunidad de Movies & Tv, este fin de semana he estado viendo películas de diferentes géneros, como romance, drama, ciencia ficción y thriller. Finalmente después de que mi hermana me recomendara la película del Joker con Joaquín Phoenix decidí verla porque a muchas personas les gustó esta película pero a mí realmente no me llamaba la atención pero luego la empecé a ver y quedé impresionada de la buena actuación de Joaquín y de toda la historia que nos cuentan en esta película. Realmente no esperaba que me gustara tanto pero me dejó con muchas reflexiones y pensando acerca de la vida en general.

Hello friends of the Movies & Tv community, this weekend I have been watching movies of different genres, like romance, drama, sci-fi and thriller. Finally after my sister recommended me the Joker movie with Joaquin Phoenix I decided to watch it because many people liked this movie but I really didn't care for it but then I started watching it and I was impressed with Joaquin's good performance and the whole story we are told in this movie. I really didn't expect to like it so much but it left me with a lot of reflections and thinking about life in general.

Arthur Fleck (Joaquín Phoenix) interpreta a un hombre el cual tiene por lo que muestran en la historia problemas psiquiatricos, su sueño es convertirse en comediante pero su vida no es para nada fácil, mientras lidia con su salud mental también tiene que lidiar con una sociedad la cual lo trata profundamente mal y se burlan de él, haciendole bromas y perjudicando su vida a tal punto de que pierde su trabajo cómo payaso donde hace publicidad con un cartel, el cual termina perdiendo por culpa de unos jóvenes que entre bromas pesadas se lo arrebatan y luego le dan una golpiza.

Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) plays a man who has as shown in the story psychiatric problems, his dream is to become a comedian but his life is not at all easy, while dealing with his mental health also has to deal with a society which treats him deeply bad and make fun of him, making jokes and damaging his life to such an extent that he loses his job as a clown where he advertises with a poster, which he ends up losing because of some young people who between bad jokes snatch it from him and then beat him up.

Mientras Arthur trata de continuar con su vida viviendo con su madre enferma, su única compañera y persona la cual ve diariamente, él sigue con su sueño de ser un famoso comediante. Pero sigue teniendo problemas porque la sociedad lo ve como un bicho raro, sobre todo porque tiene una característica muy particular y es que puede estar en cualquier situación normal y comenzar a reírse sin poder controlarse. Toma medicamentos y siempre llega a casa para ver el programa favorito de su mamá, una especie de Show de Entrevistas dónde aparece Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) un presentador bastante popular pero con cero sentido de empatía el cual en algún momento de la película termina ridiculizando a Arthur frente a la televisión nacional, lo que hace que Arthur sienta mucho dolor y a la vez ganas de hablar con el.

While Arthur tries to continue with his life living with his sick mother, his only companion and the person he sees daily, he continues with his dream of being a famous comedian. But he continues to have problems because society sees him as a freak, especially because he has a very particular characteristic and that is that he can be in any normal situation and start laughing without being able to control himself. He takes medication and always comes home to watch his mother's favorite program, a kind of talk show where Murray Franklin (Robert De Niro) appears, a very popular host but with zero sense of empathy who at some point in the film ends up ridiculing Arthur in front of national television, which makes Arthur feel a lot of pain and at the same time want to talk to him.

La madre de Arthur, Penny Fleck (Frances Conroy) una mujer muy enferma tanto física como mentalmente que siempre está en casa y que luego le cuenta a Arthur que trabajo en la casa de Thomas Wayne. Arthur se enfurece y decide buscar a Thomas Wayne, al llegar a su gran y lujosa mansión ve a un niño y empieza a hacer todo esto de los trucos de payasos frente a el, trata de que lo deje entrar a la mansión pero un guardia llega a tiempo y le impide acercarse al niño. Arthur le dice que es hijo de Penny y el hombre le responde que ella trabajo hace unos años allí pero que su madre había empezado a perder la cordura y Thomas decidió que debía ser hospitalizada en un psiquiátrico. El guardia le dice que se vaya y Arthur queda con muchas dudas.

Este suceso género un relevo de emociones y noticias donde empezaron a decir que se estaba buscando a un hombre con una máscara de payaso. Arthur tuvo que tener más precaución porque el quería seguir con su plan, que básicamente era hablar con su padre Thomas y conseguir algo de afecto de su parte, conseguir ser un comediante reconocido y entender que es lo que pasó con su madre y cuál es la verdad de todo esto. En la ciudad un grupo de personas empezaron a idolatrar al payaso, incluso hacían destrucción de áreas públicas y usaban una cara de payaso, porque consideraban que él era un héroe para ellos.

Está película dirigida por Todd Phillips y protagonizada por Joaquín Phoenix fue sin duda un gran acierto, tocaron cada tema de la manera correcta, Joaquín hizo el papel del Joker de una manera fenomenal que es difícil de olvidar después de terminar de ver la película, también el cambio físico que tuvo que hacer para el papel fue muy impactante, se veía bastante delgado. Según lo que dijo el mismo Joaquín, el no se inspiró en los Jokers anteriores, simplemente lo hizo a su manera y también se inspiró de un libro sobre asesinatos políticos y las motivaciones que tienen estas personas al realizar estos actos.

This movie directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix was undoubtedly a great success, they touched every topic in the right way, Joaquin played the role of the Joker in a phenomenal way that is hard to forget after finishing watching the movie, also the physical change he had to do for the role was very shocking, he looked quite thin. According to what Joaquin himself said, he was not inspired by the previous Jokers, he simply did it his own way and he was also inspired by a book about political assassinations and the motivations that these people have when performing these acts.

Joker fue lanzada en Estados Unidos el 4 de octubre del 2019, a pesar de que hubieron críticas variadas sobre esta película por las escenas de violencia, el manejo del tema de la salud mental. Lo cual género temor de que las personas que la vieran pudieran realizar cualquier tipo de situaciones de violencia cómo en otras ocasiones con otras películas de otros temas. Aún así la película fue un éxito convirtiendose en la séptima película más taquillera del 2019. La película recibió muchos premios como mejor banda sonora y mejor actor a Joaquín Phoenix en los Golden Globe Awards. Otra cosa que hay que destacar es que el uso de la música con las escenas dramáticas y los colores le dieron un toque grandioso a la película.

Which generated fear that people who saw it could realize any kind of violent situations as on other occasions with other films on other topics. Still the film was a success becoming the seventh highest grossing film of 2019. The movie received many awards such as best soundtrack and best actor to Joaquin Phoenix at the Golden Globe Awards. Another thing to note is that the use of music with the dramatic scenes and colors gave a great touch to the movie.

Lo que más me llamo la atención de esta película es cómo una enfermedad mental puede parecer ante la sociedad como algo horrible, dónde llegan incluso al punto de humillar y desvalorizar a las personas que la sufren. Joaquín mostró el dolor que sentía por ser visto como un pobre y estúpido payaso, como alguien que nunca lograría nada. Los momentos en los que reía eran muy dolorosos para mí, porque era su forma de expresar las emociones que nunca había podido expresar hablando. Sobre todo después de ver la verdad de lo que hay detrás de su historia de vida, es sumamente triste y me dió mucha rabia saber todo lo que le sucedió. Y lo más triste para mí fueron sus anotaciones de chistes los cuales eran totalmente duros, uno de ellos fue: Tal vez mi vida valdrá la pena después de que muera. Fue muy duro leerlo me dió mucho sentimiento 😔

What struck me most about this film is how a mental illness can appear to society as something horrible, even to the point of humiliating and devaluing the people who suffer from it. Joaquin showed the pain he felt for being seen as a poor and stupid clown, as someone who would never achieve anything. The moments when he laughed were very painful for me, because it was his way of expressing the emotions he had never been able to express by speaking. Especially after seeing the truth of what is behind his life story, it is extremely sad and it made me very angry to know everything that happened to him. And the saddest thing for me were his joke annotations which were totally harsh, one of them was: Maybe my life will be worth it after I die. It was very hard to read it gave me a lot of feeling 😔.

Sin duda es una película de género drama, thriller y comedia que no puedes dejar de ver desde que la empiezas, puedes encontrarla en plataformas como Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max y también en español y subtitulada en diferentes páginas de películas en internet. Muchas veces te vas a sentir impotente ante las situaciones de injusticia que vive Arthur (Joker) y cómo a veces para no enfrentar el dolor nuestra mente crea mecanismos que nos ayuden a vivir a pesar de haber pasado por eventos sumamente traumáticos. Fue muy buena y la recomiendo muchísimo.

Undoubtedly it is a drama, thriller and comedy film that you can not stop watching since you start it, you can find it on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max and also in Spanish and subtitled on different movie websites. Many times you will feel helpless before the situations of injustice that Arthur (Joker) lives and how sometimes in order not to face the pain our mind creates mechanisms that help us to live despite having gone through extremely traumatic events. It was very good and I highly recommend it.
