[ESP-ENG] Iniciativa: Films que inspiran | Los Dos Hemisferios de Lucca.

Hola amigos de la comunidad de Holos & Lotus, espero que se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Ayer vi una película que encaja muy bien con la iniciativa de películas que inspiran, pienso que cuando una película habla desde lo más humano y real de la vida de cualquier ser humano entonces va a ser una historia que se quede en la mente de las personas y hará que de alguna manera impacte positivamente en la mente de los que nos gustan ver todo tipo de películas en especial las que dejan grandes lecciones de vida.

Hello friends of the Holos & Lotus community, I hope you are well today. Yesterday I saw a movie that fits very well with the initiative of movies that inspire, I think that when a movie speaks from the most human and real life of any human being then it will be a story that stays in the minds of people and will somehow positively impact the minds of those of us who like to see all kinds of movies especially those that leave great life lessons.

La película que presento hoy se llama Los dos hemisferios de Lucca, es una producción de Netflix estrenada este año. La vi porque a mí, mamá, se la recomendaron y le propuse verla juntas, ya que las personas que se la recomendaron dijeron que era una película muy buena y que te dejó una gran lección de vida.

The movie I am presenting today is called Los dos hemisferios de Lucca, it is a Netflix production released this year. I saw it because it was recommended to me, mom, and I proposed to watch it together, since the people who recommended it said it was a very good movie and that it left you with a great life lesson.

La historia está basada en un libro. La vida de una pareja joven mientras esperan a su primer hijo está llena de amor y mucha emoción por tener a Luccas, el bebé que tanto desearon tener y que vino a sus vidas a cambiarlo todo. Lucca por algunas complicaciones en el parto, tiene un daño cerebral bastante grave, por lo que los médicos no les dan un buen pronóstico a los padres. Lucca no podrá ser un niño como los demás debido a la parálisis cerebral producto de las complicaciones que tuvo su madre en el parto.

The story is based on a book. The life of a young couple while waiting for their first child is full of love and excitement to have Luccas, the baby they wanted so much and who came into their lives to change everything. Lucca, due to some complications in the delivery, has a very serious brain damage, so the doctors do not give a good prognosis to the parents. Lucca will not be able to be a child like the others due to the cerebral palsy caused by the complications that his mother had during the birth.

Siendo un niño con altas necesidades, sus padres hacen lo posible por qué este bien de salud dentro de su complejo diagnóstico, además cuenta con la ayuda de una persona especializada en cuidar de niños con problemas motores y retraso mental. Para los padres de Lucca él es un milagro y el que cambio la perspectiva de vida de todos como familia incluso enseña a su hermano menor a ser un niño altamente empático que siempre está pendiente de él y le da el cariño de un niño inocente que no entiende por completo por qué su hermano está siempre enfermo.

Being a child with high needs, his parents do their best to keep him healthy despite his complex diagnosis, and he also has the help of a person specialized in taking care of children with motor problems and mental retardation. For Lucca' parents he is a miracle and the one who changed the life perspective of all of them as a family. He even teaches his younger brother to be a highly empathic child who is always looking out for him and gives him the affection of an innocent child who does not fully understand why his brother is always sick.

Esta historia es una prueba de que algunas veces los diagnósticos por parte de los médicos no son el destino final de un paciente. A Lucca no le aseguraban tener un avance, ni siquiera poder hacer cosas básicas como comer por sí mismo o incluso poder hablar y caminar. Sin embargo, el esfuerzo y la fe de sus padres a través del amor que sienten por su hijo hacen que hagan lo imposible por conseguir que lo vea un médico de la India donde les ofrecen una terapia que podría ayudar a Lucca.

This story is proof that sometimes diagnoses by doctors are not a patient's final destination. Lucca was not assured to have a breakthrough, not even to be able to do basic things like eating on his own or even to be able to talk and walk. However, the effort and faith of his parents through their love for their son made them do the impossible to get him to see a doctor in India where they were offered a therapy that could help Lucca.

El poder tener la esperanza de tener una terapia que podría ayudar a una persona con las necesidades de Luccas llena de esperanza a sus padres, quienes hacen lo que pueden para viajar hasta la India y consiguen que Lucca pueda recibir el tratamiento. A pesar de que mejora hay imprevistos porque la terapia no se encuentra en el país Mexicano de dónde es está familia, pero luego de mucha lucha y el deseo de poder tener la esperanza de que Lucca pudiera tener un avance en su diagnóstico hace que todo termine en que la terapia le sería Dada en México y es un momento de mucha emoción poder ver qué Lucca recibe sus terapias en su país y que además comienza a mostrar mejoras en su salud.

The hope of having a therapy that could help a person with Lucca' needs fills his parents with hope, who do what they can to travel to India and get Luccas to receive the treatment. In spite of the fact that the therapy is not available in the Mexican country where this family is from, but after a lot of struggle and the desire to have the hope that Lucca could have an advance in his diagnosis, everything ended in that the therapy would be given in Mexico and it is a moment of great emotion to see that Lucca receives his therapies in his country and that also begins to show improvements in his health.

Hay cosas que parecen imposibles cuando nos vemos frente a un diagnóstico serio como el de Lucca o cualquier otro dónde nos digan que no podremos tener una vida normal, pero la fuerza de tener una familia que vaya más allá de lo que cualquier médico piense es lo que hace posible que tantos casos de niños con retraso o con alguna condición de salud logren mejorar de muchas maneras.

There are things that seem impossible when we are faced with a serious diagnosis like Lucca or any other where we are told that we will not be able to have a normal life, but the strength of having a family that goes beyond what any doctor thinks is what makes it possible for so many cases of children with retardation or any health condition to improve in many ways.

Sin duda es una historia que te llena de esperanza y que además demuestra que el amor es el mayor remedio y que nunca hay que darse por vencidos. Hay tantos Lucca en el mundo que demuestran desde su ejemplo de vida que una condición de salud no es una limitante para lograr avances y poder hacer una vida medianamente normal. Al final de la película muestran clips de la historia real de Lucca y cómo se notan las mejoras después de comenzar el tratamiento, mostrando además el amor infinito de sus padres y su familia por verlo bien y lleno de salud.

It is undoubtedly a story that fills you with hope and also shows that love is the best remedy and that you should never give up. There are so many Lucca in the world that show through their life example that a health condition is not a limiting factor to achieve progress and be able to lead a normal life. At the end of the film they show clips of the real story of Luccas and how the improvements are noticeable after starting the treatment, also showing the infinite love of his parents and family to see him well and full of health.

Esto nos enseña que aunque la vida nos ponga situaciones difíciles que parecen no tener solución, siempre va a existir una pequeña luz de esperanza para hacer las cosas imposibles posibles y demostrar que a pesar de cualquier condición de salud con la que se viva, mientras se tenga la fuerza interior y el apoyo familiar se puede mejorar. Nunca hay que darse por vencidos y Luccas es un luchador más en este mundo que necesita más personas como él que le enseñen a los demás que no existen limitaciones tan grandes que nos impidan vivir una vida especial como la de él.

This teaches us that even if life puts us in difficult situations that seem to have no solution, there will always be a small glimmer of hope to make the impossible things possible and show that despite any health condition you live with, as long as you have the inner strength and family support you can get better. We must never give up and Luccas is one more fighter in this world that needs more people like him to teach others that there are no limitations so great that prevent us from living a special life like his.
