This weekend was a fun one. Few of us friends decided to catch up and do something fun. We set up for a Bollywood theme party. For the party everyone had to get dressed in one Bollywood movie actor character. The rule was that we did not have to buy any new costume for the party, we had to come up with something from what we already have. It was a tough coming up with an idea of what to wear and which actor to represent.

I have a white Indian attire, so I thought of wearing that. In one of the movies Chandni, actor Sridevi had worn a complete white Indian attire with white accessories. I almost had everything of it, so finally that was my call to wear. While my decision did not take very long, the toughest was to decide for hubby what he would wear. Because he has very limited dressing options. He only wears 2 brands M&S and Polo and from his wardrobe collection I could not think of anything for him. Then I remembered that he had a head gear which is an Arabic tradition and in a movie Hey Baby, actor Akshay Kumar had worn it. With this it was sorted.

Since it was a colorful theme we also decided to have some colorful drinks ;-)

We played bollywood music all night and danced to the tune of it. It was so much fun and had an amazing time with my friends

Each one us prepared something for the party. I made Prawns Pulao, which turned out to be little spicy but still everyone enjoyed it.

The party went on till late night and then one of our friend got knocked out with the drinks so we had to call it off.
