Today was quite quiet and nice, so taking advantage that I am not under work stress I decided to watch a movie, which is funny because it became a little stressful to look for a movie that really caught my attention, so sometimes I watch movies that I have seen at some other time, but I know they can entertain me, but today I really wanted to see something new and that's what I will talk about today, so welcome to a new review dear friends of the community, the movie I want to talk about is called "The Artifice Girl", let's start with the review.

This movie released on July 23, 2022 is an American production that belongs to the genre of psychological horror, besides also having fiction in its story. In this plot we will find several interesting points that will call everyone's attention, here we will follow the story of a man who with intentions to combat child predators on the internet develops a complex computer program that quickly becomes something else, thus achieving the main objective, but bringing with it some unexpected things in this great and constant development of the program.
What happens in the movie?
Let's talk a little bit about what happens inside the movie, this begins with some simple scenes of a woman who is talking to Siri to perform some daily tasks, but there is a question that this woman asks Siri, here she asks how to know when something is right or wrong, but Siri does not have an answer for it and with this begins the first part of the movie. Here two other people arrive in the interrogation room and so we learn that the woman inside the room is Special Agent Deena, the other special agent is Amos and they both want to ask Gareth questions.

Gareth is a 29 year old guy, here the agents ask him some pretty quiet questions and little by little they go up in depth, we find out that Gareth has had different jobs and among them he was doing special effects for an animation company, but then he focused more on software engineering in the last few years, but agent Deena makes certain comments that are bothering Gareth, apparently she is trying to set him up, but Gareth doesn't seem to be very interested, nor does he understand the reason why he is there, but he keeps answering these innocent questions that the agents ask him.

Gareth talks about the special effects he used to do, here he mentions that his main task was 3D renderings of actors, in one special case he had to digitize a dead person for a movie, this makes agent Deena make new comments that Gareth doesn't like at all, so agent Deena keeps asking other questions, some directed to the internet, asking if Gareth frequents chat rooms, to which he refuses, but both agents insist as if they know that Gareth is hiding something, so they insist him that he must tell his user name that he uses when he connects to these chat rooms, but Gareth keeps denying everything.
As the questions continue we learn that both agents work hunting pedophiles, this sets off alarm bells regarding Gareth, causing the questions to escalate in tone to something more shady, as Gareth continues to deny everything, until he is shown a photograph that was apparently on a hard drive of Gareth's and this only starts to complicate things and making us go in one direction only, until Gareth can't take it anymore and mentions his online username and here it is revealed to us that Gareth is actually a guy who has sent pedophile information to the police, so he is one of the good guys, but the agents want to know how he has done it and where is the girl he uses to get this information and it is here where Gareth reveals that it is all part of a program he has done, in short he has created an artificial intelligence with the appearance of a 9 year old girl to find pedophiles and put them behind bars.

My opinion about the movie
If you want to know the rest of the movie you will have to do it on your own, since I don't want to mention any spoiler for those who want to see it, I will only talk about my opinion regarding it and I want to do it starting with the story, I will be very honest to say that the story catches from the beginning, I mean, with the interrogation that is appreciated things are escalating in intensity and this is generating us some external history to what is happening and pushes us to want to know more of what is happening and without taking into account that the subject that is addressed is something that calls the interest to be something so delicate and unfortunately so real, here it is addressed in a very curious way.
At the beginning I mentioned that this is a psychological horror film and I should mention that it really is, this also depends on the point of view you want to appreciate, but as I said the theme that touches on pedophilia and the murky that is often the real world and also that of social networks ends up deep in your mind and this can generate a very real terror, to me personally what happened only made me more intrigued, and then end up thinking about the consequences of many things that are raised in the film, this beyond terror is also a form of reflection on life itself, so it has a very interesting balance between terror and reflection.

Something that caught my attention is that the film is divided into 3 parts and clearly each of them is located at a specific time to tell something or show something, but in the first part what I love the most is that everything happens in the same place, I mean, each of the feelings that develop as the film progresses in this first part occurs in the same place where it begins and this seems sublime to me. For me personally, the way of playing with places is always interesting, so using the same one and being able to create a story that catches you without a doubt seems to me an excellent job.
Finally I want to mention that the film in general I found very interesting, more for the fact that, although I mentioned that it is about a theme, actually the film ends up evolving and adopting another one without leaving aside the main one and this incorporation only manages to bring more depth to the film, the actors are great, the ideas excellent and the development and ending of the film seem very good too, I consider that it can easily be a gem of a film and more taking into account the "recent boom" of artificial intelligences, so it is interesting to know a different perspective of it.

I end by saying that I highly recommend this film, it is really worth knowing the story and keep in mind the message that leaves reflection, so I hope you can add this production to your list of movies to see, I'm sure you will not regret it. El día de hoy fue bastante tranquilo y agradable, por lo que aprovechando que no estoy bajo estrés laboral decidí ver una película, lo que es curioso porque se volvió un poco estresante buscar alguna película que realmente llamara mí atención, por eso en ciertas ocasiones veo películas que he visto en algún otro momento, pero que sé que me pueden entretener, pero el día de hoy realmente quería ver algo nuevo y es de lo que les hablaré el día de hoy, así que sean bienvenidos a una nueva reseña queridos amigos de la comunidad, la película de la que les quiero hablar tiene por nombre “La chica artificial”, comencemos con la reseña.

Esta película estrenada el 23 de julio del año 2022 es una producción estadounidense que pertenece al género de terror psicológico, además también de contar con ficción en su historia. En esta trama encontraremos varios puntos interesantes que llamarán la atención de todos, aquí seguiremos la historia de un hombre que con intenciones de combatir a los depredadores de niños en internet desarrolla un complejo programa de computadora que rápidamente se convierte en algo más, logrando así el objetivo principal, pero trayendo consigo algunas cosas inesperadas en este gran y constante desarrollo del programa.
¿Qué sucede en la película?
Hablemos un poco de lo que sucede dentro de la película, esta comienza con unas escenas sencillas de una mujer quien se encuentra hablando con Siri para realizar algunas tareas cotidianas, pero hay una pregunta que esta mujer le realiza a Siri, aquí pregunta cómo saber cuando algo es correcto o incorrecto, pero Siri no tiene una respuesta para ello y con esto da comienzo a la primera parte de la película. Aquí llegan otras dos personas a la sala de interrogación y así conocemos que la mujer dentro de la sala es la Agente especial Deena, el otro agente especial es Amós y ambos quieren hacerle preguntas a Gareth.

Gareth es un sujeto de 29 años, aquí los agentes le hacen algunas preguntas bastante tranquilas y poco a poco van ascendiendo en cuanto a profundidad, descubrimos que Gareth ha tenido diferentes trabajos y entre ellos hacía efectos especiales para una empresa de animación, pero luego se enfocó más en ingeniería de software en los últimos años, pero la agente Deena hace ciertos comentarios que van molestando a Gareth, al parecer intenta tenderle alguna trampa, pero Gareth no parece estar muy interesado, ni entiende el motivo del por qué está allí, pero sigue respondiendo a estas preguntas inocentes que los agentes le realizan.

Gareth habla de los efectos especiales que solía realizar, aquí menciona que su tarea principal era las renderizaciones en 3D de actores, en un caso en especial tuvo que digitalizar a una persona muerta para una película, esto hace que la agente Deena haga nuevos comentarios que no le gustan para nada a Gareth, por lo que la agente Deena sigue haciendo otras preguntas, algunas dirigidas al internet, preguntando si Gareth frecuenta salas de chat, a lo que se niega, pero ambos agentes insisten como si conocieran que Gareth oculta algo, por lo que le insisten en que debe decir su nombre de usuario que utiliza cuando se conecta a estas salas de chat, pero Gareth sigue negando todo.
Mientras siguen las preguntas conocemos que ambos agentes trabajan cazando pedófilos, esto enciende las alarmas con respecto a Gareth, haciendo que las preguntas vayan escalando de tono a algo más turbio, mientras Gareth sigue negando todo, hasta que le muestran una fotografía que al parecer estaba en un disco duro de Gareth y esto sólo empieza a complicar las cosas y haciéndonos ir en una única dirección, hasta que Gareth no aguanta más y menciona su nombre de usuario en línea y aquí se nos revela que Gareth en realidad es un sujeto que ha enviado información de pedófilos a la policía, así que es de los buenos, pero los agentes quieren saber cómo lo ha logrado y dónde se encuentra la niña que utiliza para sacar esta información y es aquí donde Gareth revela que todo es parte de un programa que ha realizado, en pocas palabras ha creado una inteligencia artificial con apariencia de una niña de 9 años para encontrar pedófilos y así ponerlos tras las rejas.

Mí opinión sobre la película
Si desean conocer el resto de la película tendrán que hacerlo por su cuenta, ya que no quiero mencionar ningún spoiler para aquellos que quieren verla, sólo hablaré de mi opinión con respecto a la misma y quiero hacerlo comenzando por la historia, seré muy honesto al decir que la historia atrapa desde el principio, quiero decir, con el interrogatorio que se aprecia las cosas van escalando de intensidad y esto nos va generando cierta historia externa a lo que está sucediendo y nos empuja a querer saber más de lo que está sucediendo y sin tomar en cuenta que el tema que abordan es algo que llama el interés al ser algo tan delicado y lamentablemente tan real, aquí es abordado de una manera muy curiosa.
Al principio mencioné que se trata de una película de terror psicológico y debo mencionar que lo es realmente, esto también depende del punto de vista que se quiera apreciar, pero como bien decía el tema que se toca sobre la pedofilia y lo turbio que suele ser el mundo real y también el de las redes sociales termina calando hondo en tu mente y esto te puede generar un terror bastante real, a mí en lo personal lo que sucedía sólo hacía que me intrigara más, para luego terminar pensando en las consecuencias de muchas cosas que son planteadas en la película, esto más allá de terror también es una forma de reflexión en cuanto a la vida misma, por lo que tiene un equilibrio bastante interesante entre el terror y la reflexión.

Algo que llamó mucho mí atención es que la película está dividida en 3 partes y claramente cada una de ella está situada en un momento especifico para contar algo o mostrar algo, pero en la primera parte lo que más me encanta es que todo transcurre en un mismo lugar, quiero decir, cada uno de los sentimientos que se desarrollan mientras la película avanza en esta primera parte ocurre en el mismo sitio donde comienza y esto me parece sublime, a mí en lo personal la forma de jugar con los sitios siempre me resulta interesante, por lo que utilizar el mismo y poder crear una historia que te atrape sin dudas me parece un excelente trabajo.
Por último quiero mencionar que la película en general me pareció muy interesante, más por el hecho de que, aunque mencione que va de un tema, realmente la película termina evolucionando y adoptando otro sin dejar de lado el principal y esta incorporación sólo logra traer más profundidad a la película, los actores estupendos, las ideas excelentes y el desarrollo y final de la película me parecen muy buenos también, considero que fácilmente puede ser una joya de película y más tomando en cuenta el “reciente auge” de las inteligencias artificiales, por lo que resulta interesante conocer una perspectiva diferente de la misma.

Finalizo diciendo que, recomiendo encarecidamente esta película, realmente vale la pena conocer la historia y tener presente el mensaje que deja a la reflexión, por lo que espero puedan sumar esta producción a su lista de películas por ver, estoy seguro que no se van a arrepentir. Cuando leo terror, inmediatamente paso la página pero como planteas este género me pareció interesante seguir leyendo. Hace poco vi una película de interrogatorio y de verdad fue ¡EL TERROR! je,je,je. Si la encuentro por allí, me detengo a verla. Gracias por comentarla.
