The Mulgoba neighbourhood, in Havana, is one of those places I never thought I would go. Until recently there was no compelling reason for me to go there, not even on my bicycle which is my mode of transport as well as my companion for exercising my body and clearing my mind.

But life is capricious and I needed to go to the polyclinic in that residential area. This time I didn't use my bike, but boarded a taxi on Boyeros Avenue.

Mulgoba is far from home. Specifically, near the José Martí Airport, Terminal 1.

I didn't bring an umbrella, there was an impertinent drizzle but I loved it... hahaha... and I sacrificed a bit my friend the Panasonic Lumix to get these images.

You know, I suffer from bruxism. And it gets worse when I get stressed. Maybe I should wear a sleep splint... don't worry and don't stop here, these are just random thoughts.

There was an amusement park... I had the impression of being in an abandoned place.

I said my mind clicked, maybe I needed this, to set aside one day a week to visit places like this, that I don't even remotely think about.

Hurricane Sacry

It looks like from tomorrow night onwards we will have downpours, thunderstorms... in a few words, bad weather. By the way, I don't know who Sacry is, nor do I remember there ever being such a hurricane. Must be some creativity to get noticed in the neighbourhood.

I'm happy that you sacrificed a little bit your camera, and you got great shots as always. The black and white added to the rain gives us a special atmosphere, and not to mention the dog's face in the last photo; I hope to coincide with the next story of this time you are spending in Mulgoba. I love the scenes, I love the rain and that little dog's face is great. It's true it looks like an abandoned place and I guess you must have been scared of some part of that place. But the pictures are great!

I wasn't thinking too hard that day to be scared. I was just worried about the camera and the rain. But I dried it well afterwards with a cloth. 🤓
That picture of the dog is part of a sequence. A nice story of fidelity or madness, I don't know.

Atmosphere there was... Hahaha... Thanks for asking. It doesn't hurt anymore, it's either taking a treatment to preserve it (I hope this is what can be done) or remove it.

The rain got here haha those sacrifices were worth it, we wouldn't have these excellent pictures if no sacrifices were made, excuse me lady camera 🙏 you could put an umbrella on it and sing “I'm singing in Mulgoba, just singing in Mulgoba”.

(Again my insomnia attacked me, that's why I'm talking nonsense, even so I detect the professionalism in these photos 🦉❤️).
