Let me share with you my favorite romantic movie.
A true masterpiece that captivates you from start to finish. The direction brings out the best in a brilliant story, while the actors deliver outstanding performances. This film is unique, creative, and filled with emotional twists that keep you on the edge of your seat.

The definition of love, beautifully written and performed. I truly believe that if only this film had been made decades ago and seen by everyone, helping them grasp its true essence, the world we live in today might be completely different.

I felt a great affection for him, a great respect.

Maybe...if we had had more time I would have found something about you I didn't like, really couldn't stand, which would be very useful right now.
But I doubt it.
They say that no love is perfect.
But then, they never met you.

The main actor and actress make the film miraculous. 5 to 7 (2014) is a romantic drama directed by Victor Levin. The story follows a young aspiring writer named Brian (Alden Ehrenreich), who embarks on an affair with a married woman, Arielle (Bérénice Marlohe), who is in a complex and open relationship with her husband. The affair takes place only between the hours of 5 PM and 7 PM. 5 to 7 relationship or (le cing à sept) has a historical root in the French culture, where it was seen as an opportunity to pursue fleeting or extramarital relationship,hence the title.

The story of two individuals from different backgrounds and separated by a generational age gap offers a blend of moral upbringing with a sense of adventure and desire. It's a film that will stay with you, etched in your memory. Marlohe shines in her role, carrying the film with both dignity and charm.

The leads deliver outstanding performances, particularly the captivating Berenice Marlohe, who conveys so much without saying a word. The love story concludes with a breakup, as Arielle refuses to leave her family for Brian. Despite Brian's eventual marriage and happiness, the two continue to love each other from a distance. Though they never rekindle their affair, they hold onto the memories of their year together. While the ending is predictable from the start, with few surprises, the film remains thoroughly engaging.

By the end, I was brought to tears, filled with a sense of desperation. I wished for a different outcome, even though I knew deep down it couldn't be. An ending like this..so purposeful and powerful..doesn't diminish the purpose and strength it held while it lasted. The conclusion doesn't erase the moments and memories that were made along the way. It's all about swinging from the heels.
