Plot

The movie starts with The Avengers group formed by Tony Stark (Iron Man), Steve Rogers (Captain America), Thor, Bruce Banner (Hulk), Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) and Clint Barton; all together in Sokovia attacking HYDRA's fortress with the objective of recovering Loki's Scepter that is in the hands of Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker, who came to experiment with human beings with the power of this scepter. Among so many experiments, two of them were a complete and unique success, being the brothers Pietro Maximoff (who has developed super speed) and Wanda Maximoff (who has developed telekinesis and energy projection). During the battle, the Maximoff siblings fight the Avengers and later escape after Stucker is captured and the scepter is recovered.

At The Avengers' base, Tony and Bruce analyze Loki's Scepter, in which they discover a kind of artificial intelligence inside his gem. Stark asks Banner for help to use this artificial intelligence to complete the global defense program, "Ultron". Entre tantos experimentos, dos de ellos fueron un completo y único éxito, siendo estos los hermanos Pietro Maximoff (quien ha desarrollado súper velocidad) y Wanda Maximoff (quien ha desarrollado telequinesis y proyección de energía). While it is true that seeing the great Robert Downey Jr. star once again as Tony Stark in this movie is what I liked the most, his role and influence on the main plot of the film is very important. And this time the plot is far away from the theme of aliens or demigods looking to end the earth and go for a much more science fiction theme, which gives it that plus, personally. By experimenting with artificial intelligence drawn from such a powerful gem, Stark and Banner "play god" by creating a supposed "shield" that will protect the earth. However, their disbelief as to the complexity of what they did brought about one of the greatest villains I've ever seen played on the big screen.

Se pueden decir muchas cosas buenas de esta súper producción cinematográfica que solo Marvel Studios en su mejor momento ha logrado conseguir en más de una película. Ya sea tanto en los efectos especiales y CGI, los personajes, la trama, las escenas de acción, la increíble banda sonora o el increíble desenlace que tiene al final. Se puede hablar de todo esto y más de esta segunda entrega del equipo de superhéroes más famoso de toda la historia del cine moderno. Y es que, luego de ver una película de tan alto calibre como lo fue la primera de “Los Vengadores”, muchos esperaban con ansias esta secuela, la cual indudablemente ha complacido a la mayoría.

Si bien es cierto que ver al gran Robert Downey Jr actuar una vez más como Tony Stark en esta película es lo que más me gustó, su protagonismo e influencia en cuanto a la trama principal de la cinta es muy importante. Y es que en esta ocasión la trama se aleja mucho del tema de extraterrestres o semidioses buscando acabar con la tierra y se van por un tema mucho más de ciencia ficción, lo cual le da ese plus, en lo personal. Al experimentar con inteligencia artificial sacada de una gema tan poderosa, Stark y Banner “juegan con ser dioses” al crear un supuesto “escudo” que protegerá a la tierra. Sin embargo, su incredulidad en cuanto a la complejidad de lo que hicieron trajo consigo a uno de los mayores villanos que he visto interpretados en la pantalla grande.

Starting with the theme that, in order to protect the earth, we must do away with humanity, being this the one that is causing such damage, it introduces us to a dilemma that makes us think quite a lot, all this while we see an endless sequence of battles and encounters with incredible special effects and a production quality that is fascinating. The interpretation of the other main characters are also well done, especially Robert Downey Jr, who as always stands out among all with an excellent job, of course.

We also see the participation of new characters, such as Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the Maximoff brothers, who also stood out very well and performed roles that would lead them to total success in the world of cinema. Among other things, there are many unforgettable moments in this film that, like its predecessor, went down in history and are still remembered today. Scenes like the Hulk losing control, Tony controlling the green beast, the appearance of Ultron and the incredible final battle are moments that make this film a jewel of superhero cinema. All this, along with excellent special effects, sound effects, soundtrack and a high quality CGI - much better than what is now nine years later - make this sequel a complete audiovisual spectacle.

Personally, I give it a 9.5/10 rating as far as the sci-fi, action and superhero genre is concerned.

Ultron es, sin lugar a dudas, la razón principal por la que seguramente todos fueron a ver esta película. Si bien es cierto que la versión que vemos en esta secuela no es para nada igual a lo que se conoce en Marvel Cómics, sí es cierto que tiene un desarrollo y un papel muy impresionante y atrayente. Empezando por el tema de que, para proteger a la tierra hay que acabar con la humanidad, siendo esta la que está causando dicho daño, nos introduce a un dilema que nos hace pensar bastante, todo esto mientras vemos una secuencia interminable de batallas y encuentros con efectos especiales increíbles y una calidad de producción que es fascinante. La interpretación de los demás personajes principales están también bien hechos, sobre todo Robert Downey Jr, quien como siempre se destaca entre todos con un excelente trabajo, claro.

También vemos la participación de nuevos personajes, como lo son Elizabeth Olsen y Aarón Taylor-Johnson como los hermanos Maximoff, los cuales también se destacaron muy bien y realizaron unos papeles que los llevaría al éxito total en el mundo del cine. Entre otras cosas, se puede hablar mucho de momentos inolvidables que posee esta película que, al igual que su antecesora, pasaron a la historia y se siguen recordando al día de hoy. Escenas como Hulk perdiendo el control, Tony controlando a la bestia verde, la aparición de Ultron y la increíble batalla final son momentos que hacen de esta película una joya del cine de superhéroes. Todo esto, junto con unos excelentes efectos especiales, efectos de sonido, banda sonora y un CGI de alta calidad - muchísimo mejores que los que hay ahora ya nueve años después - hacen de esta secuela un completo espectáculo audiovisual.

Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9.5/10 en lo que respecta al género de ciencia ficción, acción y superhéroes.
