Hello movie fans. Today I want to talk to you about the third installment of everyone's favorite superhero, Thor, the God of Thunder, but from the Marvel Comics universe. Considered "the best movie of the Thor saga" to date, this third part had a huge amount of praise and reviews in its favor, whether for the direction, the characters, the special effects and the perfect blend of humor with action and fantasy. Produced by the then successful Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, this film was directed by the well-known Taika Waititi. It features Chris Hemsworth as the main character, in addition to the participation of other great actors such as Tom Hiddleston, Kate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Teresa Thompson and Mark Ruffalo. This is one Thor movie I do recommend watching.

Hola fanáticos de las películas. El día de hoy les quiero hablar de la tercera entrega del superhéroe favorito de todos, Thor, el Dios del Trueno, pero del universo de Marvel Cómics. Considerada “la mejor película de la saga de Thor” hasta la fecha, esta tercera parte tuvo una enorme cantidad de elogios y críticas a su favor, ya sea por la dirección, los personajes, los efectos especiales y la perfecta mezcla de humor con acción y fantasía. Producida por el aquel entonces exitoso Marvel Studios y distribuida por Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, esta cinta estuvo dirigida por el conocido Taika Waititi. Plot

The film begins a couple of years after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" with Thor chained in a dungeon next to a skeleton as he tells him that he has been unsuccessfully searching for the remaining Infinity Gems. There he is greeted by Surtur, a giant demon in the form of a skeleton with bull horns and wrapped in flames that seeks to end the life of the God of Thunder, in addition to ending Asgard in the famous "Ragnarok" which he tells him will come and that it will be inevitable. He also tells him that Odin, the King of Asgard is no longer on his throne, but has been banished and abandoned and by the absence of Thor he is vulnerable. Thor manages to free himself and finish off the great demon for the time being and then travels back to Asgard to see his father.

Heimdall's replacement, Skurge, is the one who brings Thor back after finally hearing his call. Thor, surprised that the gatekeeper has been replaced, wonders what is happening in Asgard. He goes to see his father Odin, who sees him happy and calm watching a curious play that is a crude interpretation of Thor, Loki, Jane Foster, Odin and others who appear at the end of the second part. Thor realizes that Odin is actually Loki in disguise and captures him, taking him with him to Earth in search of his father. They arrive on Earth to find that the place where his brother left him has been demolished and they don't know Odin's current whereabouts. It is then when Loki is pierced by a magical portal that Doctor Stephen Strange makes to trap the great enemy of mankind.

Trama

La película empieza un par de años después de los sucesos ocurridos en “Avengers: Age of Ultron” con Thor encadenado en un calabozo al lado de un esqueleto mientras le cuenta que ha estado buscando sin éxito las demás Gemas del Infinito. Ahí lo recibe Surtur, un demonio gigante en forma de esqueleto con cuernos de toro y envuelto en llamas que busca acabar con la vida del Dios del Trueno, además de acabar con Asgard en el famoso “Ragnarok” el cual este le dice que llegará y que será inevitable. También le dice que Odín, el Rey de Asgard ya no sé encuentra en su trono, sino que ha sido desterrado y abandonado y por la ausencia de Thor este se encuentra vulnerable. Thor consigue librarse y acabar por el momento con el gran demonio para posteriormente viajar de regreso a Asgard a ver a su padre.

El reemplazo de Heimdall, Skurge, es quien trae de vuelta a Thor luego de escuchar al fin su llamado. Este sorprendido de que el vigilante de la entrada ha sido reemplazado, se pregunta qué está sucediendo en Asgard. Este va a ver a su padre Odín, quien lo ve feliz y tranquilo viendo una curiosa obra de teatro que es la interpretación burda de Thor, Loki, Jane Foster, Odín y otros más que aparecen al final de la segunda parte. Thor se da cuenta de que Odín es en realidad Loki disfrazado y lo captura, llevándolo consigo a la Tierra en busca de su padre. Estos al llegar a la tierra se dan cuenta de que el lugar donde su hermano lo dejó ha sido demolido y no saben el paradero actual de Odín. I remember seeing this movie in theaters (if I'm not mistaken), the feeling it gave me in the first few minutes was very different from its two predecessors. From the beginning I felt it was going to be different, funnier and much more entertaining. The dark tones he had in the first and second films disappear here, showing us a different, funnier and more enjoyable Thor. However, his enormous desire to fight and to measure his strength did not disappear, introducing in turn very powerful enemies that appear in the comics, such as Surtur, Hela and the Wolf Fenris. I was also very impressed by the appearance of other characters such as Doctor Stephen Strange and the Hulk, the latter being the one who was given more time and prominence, after Thor. And of course, an incredible and long-awaited fight between two of the most beloved characters of the franchise.

Recuerdo haber visto esta película en cines (si no me equivoco), la sensación que me dió en los primeros minutos fue muy diferente a la de sus dos antecesoras. Desde el principio sentí que iba a ser diferente, más divertido y mucho más entretenido. Los tonos oscuros que tenía en la primera y segunda película desaparecen aquí, mostrándonos un Thor diferente y más gracioso y agradable. Sin embargo, su enorme deseo de combatir y de medir su fuerza no desaparecieron, presentando a su vez enemigos muy poderosos que aparecen en las historietas, como lo son Surtur, Hela y el Lobo Fenris. También me llamó mucho que aparecieran otros personajes como el Doctor Stephen Strange y Hulk, siendo este segundo el que más tiempo y protagonismo le dieron, después de Thor. When I saw this movie I really loved how they developed the different characters that appear from the beginning, starting with Thor, as this hero who left his home, Asgard, to search for the Infinity Gems and fight an unknown evil. His experience fighting HYDRA on Earth and his enormous contribution to "The Avengers" team have changed his life. However, his personal and love life is already another topic that unfortunately is hardly mentioned in this third installment. On the other hand, we see again his brother, Loki, who was believed to be dead but actually fulfilled his promise to assume the throne of Asgard, albeit in a very mischievous way, as the God of Madness knows how to do. He must now atone for his sins by accompanying his brother Thor on a journey that will change him completely.

We also see the Hulk, who makes an incredible appearance in the film in a scene with Thor that is memorable and, without a doubt, my favorite of the entire film. If you want to see the green giant demonstrating his incomparable superhuman strength in action, you must see this movie, in which he fights against gods and demons. On the other hand, we also see the appearance of Hela, the older sister of Thor and Loki and the villain of the film, which appears after a sad scene in search of ending Asgard, this being the beginning of the great Ragnarok. Of course, the one we see in this movie is not at all similar to the one we know from the stories, since we are talking about a movie made for all audiences nothing more and nothing less by Marvel Studios in charge of Disney. However, this does not detract from the fact that this movie is a complete demonstration of power, action and fantasy at incredible levels.

Cuando vi esta película me encantó mucho cómo desarrollaron a los distintos personajes que aparecen desde el principio, empezando por Thor, como ese héroe que abandonó su hogar, Asgard, por buscar las Gemas del Infinito y combatir un mal desconocido. Su experiencia combatiendo con HYDRA en la Tierra y su enorme contribución con el equipo de “Los Vengadores” le han cambiado la vida. Sin embargo, su vida personal y amorosa es ya otro tema que lamentablemente no se menciona casi en esta tercera entrega. Por otro lado, vemos de nuevo a su hermano, Loki, el cual se creía estaba muerto pero en realidad cumplió con su promesa de asumir el trono de Asgard, aunque de una forma muy traviesa, tal y como el Dios de las Locuras sabe hacer. Este ahora debe expiar sus pecados al acompañar a su hermano Thor a un viaje que lo cambiará por completo.

También vemos a Hulk, el cual hace una increíble aparición en la película en una escena con Thor que es memorable y, sin lugar a dudas, mi favorita de toda la cinta. Si quieres ver al gigante verde demostrando su incomparable fuerza sobrehumana en acción, debes de ver esta película, en la que lucha contra dioses y demonios. Por otro lado, también vemos la aparición de Hela, la hermana mayor de Thor y Loki y la villana de la película, la cual aparece luego de una triste escena en busca de acabar con Asgard, siendo este el inicio del gran Ragnarok. Claro, el que vemos en esta película no es para nada similar al que conocemos de las historias, ya que estamos hablando de una película hecha para todo el público nada más ni nada menos por Marvel Studios a cargo de Disney. Sin embargo, esto no quita que esta película sea una completa demostración de poder, acción y fantasía a niveles increíbles.

With a beginning and an ending that is simply unexpected, the film presents us with an endless series of action and comedy in an adventure between different worlds with a group of somewhat interesting characters. The relationships we see in this film between Thor and Loki, Hulk/Banner with Thor and other characters is something that caught my attention, also the way in which they have an interesting development, after everything that happens throughout the film. Lastly, the special effects, CGI and style that this movie has is amazing, very different and much better done than their previous two movies, that's not to mention the sound effects and the fantastic soundtrack that the movie has. Far from being the best superhero movie I have seen from Marvel Studios, I can tell you that it is the best of all the Thor movies I have seen, which has left me with a very good feeling and a good number of unforgettable moments and scenes.

Personally, I give it a 9/10 rating as far as the fantasy/action/superhero genre is concerned.

Con un inicio y un final que es simplemente inesperado, la película nos presenta una serie interminable de acción y comedia en una aventura entre distintos mundos con un grupo de personajes un tanto interesantes. Las relaciones que vemos en esta cinta de Thor y Loki, Hulk/Banner con Thor y otro personajes más es algo que me llamó mucho la atención, también la forma en la que estos tienen un desarrollo interesante, luego de todo lo que sucede a lo largo de la película. Por último, los efectos especiales, el CGI y el estilo que tiene esta película es increíble, muy distinto y mucho mejor hecho que sus anteriores dos películas, eso sin mencionar los efectos de sonido y la fantástica banda sonora que tiene la película. Lejos de ser la mejor película de superhéroes que he visto de Marvel Studios, sí puedo decirles que es la mejor de todas las películas de Thor que he visto, la cual me ha dejado con una muy buena sensación y un buen número de momentos y escenas inolvidables.

Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 9/10 en lo que respecta al género de fantasía, acción y superhéroes.
