Love in Sing Street is presented in several ways, and a key element is Conor's love for Raphina. From the moment Conor first sees her, he is captivated by her beauty and mystery. Throughout the film, Conor struggles to win her over and use his love for her as inspiration to create music. It is interesting to see how Conor's love for Raphina functions as a driving force in his life, giving him the courage to face the challenges of his family and school life.

In addition to romantic love, Sing Street also tells of brotherly love. Conor and his brother, Brendan, have a complex but deep relationship. What I loved most about Sing Street was its ability to transport me back to the 1980s. From the music to the fashion, the film captured the aesthetics of the era in a vivid and nostalgic way. In addition, the actors gave convincing and authentic performances, further immersing me in the story. The film's original music is also outstanding, with catchy songs and poignant lyrics reflecting on teenage experiences and love.

One scene that still comes to mind is when Conor and his band play the song Brown Shoes in the gymnasium. This scene is a cathartic and exciting moment in the film, where love and music combine to create a sense of freedom and joy, this being the moment when the students rebel against student repression. It is a moment where the characters and the audience can forget about worries and simply enjoy the moment.
