Technology can be a subtle response, but it is also a drama that ends up causing pain if it cannot be controlled. Suzy and Park Bo-gum star in a story together for the first time. A 1 hour and 53-minute film is available on Netflix, directed by Kim Tae Yong. Science fiction is the defining element of this plot, which blends emotionality, technology and human emotions perfectly.

A romance between two young people who are paralysed because Park Tae Joo is in a coma. The second is that of Bai Li (Tang Wei) and his daughter, who is unaware that she has died.
These two stories have two things in common: the absence of a loved one for someone. The plot of this film focuses on a video call service that recreates the client's deceased loved one. Interesting? Interesting enough.

Quiero ser exhaustivo y direccional con el hecho de que los seres humanos no estamos preparados para afrontar la muerte. Me atrevo a decir que la humanidad no afronta con notoriedad que todos nacemos para vivir y luego morir. Bajo éste argumento se componen cada una de las escenas de Wonderland.
En el film se muestran dos historias. La primera es la que protagonizan Park Tae Joo (Park Bo-gum) y la joven azafata Jung In (Suzy). Un romance de dos jóvenes que se ve paralizado porqué Park Tae Joo se encuentra en coma. La segunda es la de Bai Li (Tang Wei) y su hija, que desconoce que ella ha muerto.
Estas dos historias poseen dos cosas en común: La ausencia de un ser querido para alguien. La trama de éste film se encuentra enfocada en un servicio de videollamadas que recrea a la persona o un ser querido fallecido del cliente. ¿Interesante? Lo suficiente.
An even more appealing aspect is that the film does not focus on artificial intelligence as a threat to humanity like thousands of recent productions; rather, director Kim Tae Yong focused on highlighting the reflection of the meaning of death and the value of human life through emotions such as grief. That grief is evidenced by the loss of a loved one.
The director plays with the process of assimilation of the loss of a human life and also with human nature itself, caused by the existing bonds and connections. Can a human bond be easily erased? The answer is no.
Visually, Wonderland is an aesthetically well-crafted film. There is a futuristic setting, but it does not undermine reality. I would even go so far as to say that it relates very well to what we see today. There is a remarkable balance between science fiction, technology and emotionality. That interconnectedness stands out and makes the film unappealing.
Un aspecto aún más atractivo es que el film no se concentra en que la inteligencia artificial es una amenaza para la humanidad como miles de producciones recientes; más bien, el director Kim Tae Yong se enfocó en resaltar la reflexión del significado de la muerte y el valor de la vida humana a través de emociones como el dolor. Esa interconexión destaca y hace que el film no sea atractivo.
The performances of Suzy, Park Bo-gum and Tang Wei are exceptional. Each of their performances sticks to the reality that any human being can live.
Ethically, Wonderland depicts that artificial intelligence can decide whether to be important to a human being and deal in the rudest way with the fact that they are not real people. Even more interestingly, the film envisions the possibility in the future that artificial intelligence could feel human emotions. It's complex, but not impossible. We might get to that point at some point.
Las actuaciones de Suzy, Park Bo-gum y Tang Wei son excepcionales. Cada una de sus actuaciones se apega una realidad que cualquier ser humano puede vivir.
Éticamente, Wonderland describe que la inteligencia artificial puede decidir si ser importante para un ser humano y afrontar de la manera más ruda que no son personas reales. Algo aún más interesante es que el film vislumbra la posibilidad en un futuro de que la inteligencia artificial pueda sentir emociones humanas. Es algo complejo, pero no imposible. The truth is that Wonderland was an illusion.
All in all, this is a film with a lovely message. There are two stories, that of a mother and that of a couple struggling despite the difficulty. A science fiction story that is romantic and maintains a captivating, moderate drama.
Hay una pregunta que el film plantea: ¿Es moral y ético recrear a los fallecidos con inteligencia artificial? En el film hay un duro choque por parte de los personajes, es muy duro para la madre de Bai Li afrontar que ella está muerta y habla con un servicio artificial pagado para ocultar la verdad a su nieta.
Lo mismo ocurre con Jung In que se encuentra confundida entre el choque de lo real y lo virtual cuando su novio Park Tae Joo despierta del coma y ella mantiene aún videollamadas con el Park Tae Joo creado con inteligencia artificial por la empresa Wonderland. La realidad está distorsionada, al igual que las emociones.
Un chico que se ha despertado de un coma, que no entiende lo que ocurre, siente sus emociones confusas y no posee una percepción clara de su entorno. El tiempo ha transcurrido, y él ha envejecido, esos son los mensajes direccionales del film… Mientras que su novia no comprende el choque de emociones de la persona que dice amar. La irrealidad se mezcló y pensó que el chico alegre sin ningún problema siempre estuvo. La verdad es que Wonderland fue una ilusión.
En definitiva, éste es un film con un mensaje encantador. Hay dos historias, la de una madre y la de una pareja que lucha a pesar de la dificultad. Una historia de ciencia ficción que es romántica y mantiene un drama moderado cautivador.
