The Movie Reacher Showed us Some things About Injuries we didn't know We Needed

This was just a little addition to the realistic integrity of the movie that I can't remember seeing in any movie in the past.

It didn't take long to realize this was being done with Reacher himself. In the begining of the movie he got into some fights and sustained these injuries you see on his face:

And throughout the movie he had these scrapes on his face. That was just such a cool addition. In most movies after the first and second day or something you never see the signs of the little injuries a character sustained just a week ago in the story.

Except the scars would be important to the story or they're in bandages or something. But in Reacher, little scars like these stayed on for as long as they're supposed to naturally, without a word being said about them nor them playing any role in the entire story.

That felt so good, I kept feeling like this was some important stuff that I didn't even know I needed in movies before now.

Then at the end of the movie I was quite blown by the next time I noticed it in the picture above, where the couple is kissing. The girl had been tied to a spot the previous night or so. Her hands were never shown getting that small injury, only for the next time we see her she had that on her wrist.

It felt great and important, and I started wondering why I'd not been asking for this from all the movies I've watched 🤣🤣.

The bar has been increased now, guys. I wonder if it was the Director or just the Make-up person who came up with this idea to be true to injuries in this way, but that was a little addition that does a great lot!

I've looked online and I didn't see any awards for the make-up person or something of the sort, but maybe I didn't look well enough, I hope someone gets their due for this.
