Mi último post trato de una película de acción netamente, asi que hoy refrescaremos con una historia animada. Se trata de la producción de Pixar y Walt disney llamada Elemental. Un filme de romance fantástico entre dos elementos del dìa a día, el agua y el fuego.

My last post was about a pure action movie, so today we will refresh with an animated story. This is the Pixar and Walt Disney production called Elemental. A fantastic romance film between two everyday elements, water and fire.

Esta es una historia de un amor supuestamente imposible que logra triunfar a través de las barreras de la vida. Los dos protagonistas principales el chico dócil de carácter traquilos se enamora de la chica de fuego la cuál es todo lo contrario. Al ser elementos opuestos no podrán ni tocarse, el agua extinguirá al fuego o el fuego evaporarà al agua. ?Cómo se las arreglaran estos chicos para lograr unirse?.

This is a story of a supposedly impossible love that manages to triumph through the barriers of life. The two main characters, the docile boy with a calm character falls in love with the girl of fire who is the opposite. Being opposite elements, they can't even touch each other, water will extinguish fire or fire will evaporate water. How will these two boys manage to get together?

Por otra parte nos dan a relucir otro tema bien difícil de tratar. Hablo del complacer a nuestros padres, por encima de nuestros deseos. ?El qué quiero para mi vida?. Acá el padre de la muchacha abandona la tierra de fuego para irse a esta ciudad llamada Elemental donde conviven todos los elementos jutos. Él hace este sacrificio para el bienestar de su familia, principalmente de su hija. Ésta acción hace que ella se sienta en compromiso de seguir el sueño de su padre, cuando no era el de ella. ?Cómo podrá lidiar con esta situación sin lastimar a su padre?.

On the other hand, they bring up another very difficult subject to deal with. I am talking about pleasing our parents, above our own desires. Here the girl's father leaves the land of fire to go to this city called Elemental where all the jute elements coexist. He makes this sacrifice for the welfare of his family, especially his daughter. This action makes her feel committed to follow her father's dream, when it was not hers. How can she deal with this situation without hurting her father?

Nuestra joven tendra un talento especial con la arena. ?Qué será?. Este don la pondrá a tener sentimientos encontrados sobre su vida, pues tendra una oportunidad de trabajar en la empresa mas prestigiosa de ese mundo pero su devoción hacia su padre la frenará.

Our young lady will have a special talent with sand. What is it? This gift will make her have mixed feelings about her life, because she will have an opportunity to work in the most prestigious company in this world, but her devotion to her father will stop her.

En el transcurso de la película nos daremos cuenta que esta grandiosa ciudad , no estaba hecho para albergar a los elementos de fuego. Es ahí cuando el padre de la muchacha, logra vincularse en esta sociedad reparando una tienda , la cuál le quería dejar erróneamente como legado, ya que no era el deseo de ella.

In the course of the film we will realize that this great city was not made to house the elements of fire. That is when the girl's father manages to get involved in this society by repairing a store, which he mistakenly wanted to leave her as a legacy, since it was not her wish.

Podemos disfrutar de una escenografía y unos colores muy bonitos que nos llamarán la mucho la atención. Tendremos momentos de comedia, que alegran nuestro día y un guión bien redactado, pero nada fuera de lo común.
En mi humilde opinión, se puede ver y pasamos el rato con una linda historia de amor, aunque esperé más sinceramente. Ya estamos acostumbrados a este tópico con distintas adaptaciones, así que se necesita ser un poco más creativo para impactar y no quedar solo cómo !Ah es una linda película!. Lo que me extraño es que Pixar siempre esta a la vanguardia y aquí como que no hizo su papel de estar entre las principales productoras de animación.

We can enjoy a scenery and beautiful colors that will call our attention. We will have moments of comedy, which brighten our day and a well-written script, but nothing out of the ordinary.
In my humble opinion, it is watchable and we pass the time with a nice love story, although I expected more sincerely. We are already used to this topic with different adaptations, so it needs to be a little more creative to make an impact and not just be like "Oh, it's a nice movie". What I find strange is that Pixar is always at the forefront and here it didn't play its role of being among the main animation producers.
