Weekend Gone Wild

Having to wake up at 4am to prepare for class only to go and realise these students are not prepared. Even me who’s the tutor studied more than the students who are supposed to discuss among themselves. Technically , the teacher is supposed to know more, lol. I just can’t wait for the Easter holidays so I can get a break. Sometimes I think about calling in sick but I’m not a good liar so I’d rather go to work than have myself feel guilty while staying to home on a working day. I’m not here to rant, even though I already did.😂

Let’s talk about my weekend. On a normal Saturday, you’d find me asleep by 9:00pm because I’m not really a social media person and I only talk to about two people while spending my remaining time on hive. Aside these I don’t really have a life. This weekend seems a little different to me as I’ve been engaged in different things aside what I do every weekend before this. You wouldn’t believe last night I slept after 1am which is so not me and I woke up at 4am which is my normal waking up time.

You might be wondering which boy kept me up till 1am. This beautiful boy is in the person of ‘How to get away with murder S1-6’. I discovered this series on TikTok and I downloaded a long time a ago but at that time I was watching the series snowfall again and I promised myself to watch till the last episode before watching a new series and I did exactly that.

This new series I’m watching must have some magic in it because I’ve been on it the whole of yesterday and only got up to do my laundry after 12pm which is unlike me.😂 At least I have something to keep me company and make me shout in my room. The suspense is too much man!

To add to all of this, I usually go grocery shopping on Saturdays but thanks to this series I didn’t. What to eat now? I decided on eating rice with beans stew since I had some beans sitting there. I finished with my beans stew and I’m like, do I even need to cook rice again cos this beans is a lot. To make myself feel better about what I was about to do, I told myself that I know people who eat beans stew as a meal and that’s exactly what I did. I freaking ate beans stew for supper last night and it was good.😂 It was like beans and gari but this time the gari is being replaced by stew.

This weekend has been one hell of a weird one and I’m glad it is because I’ve been feeling down the past few days but now I feel a lot better. Maybe I should change my routine every weekend since it seems to help with boredom. Now guess who has been stuck working on her pc all morning because she kept saying ‘just one more episode‘ since Friday.😂
