I know it was quite praised in its premiere, but I preferred to wait until the tide went down to watch it calmly and create my own opinion. Personally I've been a bit linked to the story of Jordan sneakers, because my boyfriend is a fan of Nike and shoes in general.

Aesthetically it is a very, very nice film, it makes you feel in 1984, with the filter, the lights and the scenery. From the beginning it gives you a sequence of events of the time to get you in tune with the film. It has interesting camera movements according to the scenes and music of the time that my mom was thrilled with. If you didn't know it is directed, produced and acted by Ben Affleck and I like the way his future as a director is going.
Estéticamente es una película muy muy linda, te hace sentir en 1984, con el filtro, las luces y los escenarios. Desde el comienzo te da una secuencia de eventos de la época para que entres en sintonía con la película. Tiene movimientos de cámaras interesantes acorde a las escenas y música de la época con la que mi mamá estaba encantada. Si no lo sabían está dirigida, producida y actuada por Ben Affleck y me gusta cómo marcha su futuro como director.
It's funny, even though it's not a comedy it gave me more than one laugh without resorting to cheap jokes, it has a nice and refreshing spark. Matt Damon who, if you ask me, I always enjoy on camera, does a good role as Sonny, he is funny, carefree and very passionate about what he does, stubborn and sometimes maybe a little irresponsible. Chris Tucker also knows how to play his role, I want to believe that the real life Howard White is how he developed him for us.
Es divertida, aunque no sea comedia me provocó más de una risa sin recurrir a chistes baratos, tiene una chispa agradable y refrescante. Matt Damon que, si me lo preguntas, siempre lo disfruto en cámara, hace un buen papel como Sonny, es gracioso, despreocupado y muy apasionado por lo que hace, testarudo y a veces puede que un poco irresponsable. Chris Tucker también sabe representar su papel, quiero creer que el Howard White de la vida real es como él nos lo desarrolló.
I like how it shows you what the Air Jordans meant not only to Nike as a company but to every person who worked on the project, from the main idea to the design of the Jordan 1. Even though I knew, from real life, how the story ended, I worried about all those who were about to lose their jobs if something went wrong.

There's a scene in a meeting where they mix real life footage with a spectacular speech Sonny makes that left my skin crawling. In addition to being historical and having a pretty funny pace, it is the kind of film that makes you want to challenge life, prove to yourself that you can, and even find the courage to claim your value to other people. The ending leaves you with a good taste in your mouth and on top of that you are treated to facts about what happened next.
Hay una escena de una reunión donde mezclan grabaciones de la vida real con un discurso espectacular que hace Sonny y me dejaron la piel erizada. Además de ser histórico y llevar un ritmo bastante divertido; es el tipo de cinta que te lleva a querer retar a la vida, demostrarte a ti mismo que puedes, he incluso, encontrar el coraje de reclamar tu valor a las demás personas. El final te deja con un buen sabor de boca y encima te regalan datos sobre lo que pasó después.
The film may be a strong 4.5/5 but I enjoyed it too much to rob it of half a point, in my personal opinion it is a 5/5, I would re-watch it many times and recommend it for something interesting and historical in style.

Es una película olvidable pero entretenida, de todas las biopics que salieron este año Air es mi favorita (Junto a Blackberry), como amante de los sneakers y el cine la aprecio muchísimo.
Yo me la pasé muy bien viéndola, la verdad. Además de tenerle cariño a la marca.
