Hacía tiempo que no posteaba sobre cine, me había quedado sin televisión por cable y como tengo el teléfono no me preocupé de contratar los servicios de ninguna compañía, en el mes de diciembre nos hicimos con un Roku con el que puedes ver la tele, películas, series etc sin pagar una cuota mensual, solo tienes que tener una excelente conexión a internet.

I had not posted about movies for a long time, I had run out of cable TV and since I have the phone I did not worry about hiring the services of any company, in the month of December we got a Roku with which you can watch TV, movies, series etc without paying a monthly fee, you just have to have an excellent internet connection.

Mientras me deslizaba para ver que película ver confieso que me llamo la atención el nombre de la película nunca me imagine que fuera una película romántica sino que tuviera que ver con terroristas me deje llevar por el nombre al decir Estambul mi conclusión es esto es en Turquía, secuestros, asesinatos, terroristas y para completar todo empezó en un aeropuerto con una maleta.

Lo menos que se me paso por la cabeza es que era una película romántica esperaba que el aeropuerto explotara con una maleta bomba.

While I was sliding to see which movie to watch I confess I was struck by the name of the movie I never imagined it was a romantic movie but it had to do with terrorist I got carried away by the name when I said Istanbul my conclusion is this is in Turkey, kidnapping, murders, terrorists and to complete it all started in an airport with a suitcase.

The least that crossed my mind was that it was a romantic movie I expected the airport to explode with a suitcase bomb.

Como sabéis que los teléfonos escuchan tus conversaciones empecé a informarme sobre esta película así que me enteré que se estrenó en la plataforma Netflix en noviembre de 2023 osea se puede decir que es reciente, durante el rodaje solo me centre en la pareja de protagonistasBeren Saat (Serin) y Kivanç Tatlitug (Mehmet).

Aunque es una película turca toda la historia transcurre en Nueva York dos supuestos desconocidos que se conocieron en el aeropuerto buscando el equipaje perdido de Serin, al principio pensé que era una trampa jajaja y que Serin tenía que conquistar a Mehmet y luego secuestrarlo mientras la trama avanzaba me di cuenta que era una historia de amor porque nunca hubo ninguna escena con violencia sino mucha seducción.

As you know that smartphones listen to your conversations I started to get information about this movie so I learned that it was released on the Netflix platform in November 2023 osea you can say that is recent, during the shooting I just focus on the couple of protagonistsBeren Saat (Serin) and Kivanç Tatlitug (Mehmet).

Although it is a Turkish film the whole story takes place in New York two supposed strangers who met at the airport looking for Serin's lost luggage, at first I thought it was a trap hahaha and that Serin had to conquer Mehmet and then kidnap him while the plot was going on I realized that it was a love story because there was never any scene with violence but a lot of seduction.

Nueva York es un escenario para el amor y el romanticismo, me mantuvieron a la expectativa, solo fue en la escena cuando visitan al psicólogo para parejas que me di cuenta que eran esposos, supieron mantener la expectativa de la trama en un 70% de la película, en esa escena es que empecé a entender jajaja le dije a mi hija que la protagonista está seduciendo a un desconocido y resulta que en realidad eran esposos, me encantó porque este estilo de películas te mantiene a la expectativa hasta casi el final.

Como todas las películas románticas tiene un final feliz, pero también deja un mensaje para las parejas de que ninguno tiene que sacrificar su vida profesional por el otro sino que juntos pueden seguir adelante y que viva el amor.

La película dura hora y media y la recomiendo para todas aquellas parejas que están a punto de separarse, darles una segunda oportunidad.

New York is a scenario for love and romanticism, I was kept in expectation, it was only in the scene when they visit the psychologist for couples that I realized that they were spouses, they knew how to keep the expectation of the plot in 70% of the film, in that scene is that I began to understand hahaha I told my daughter that the protagonist is seducing a stranger and it turns out that they were really spouses, I loved it because this style of movies keeps you in expectation until almost the end.

Like all romantic movies it has a happy ending, but it also leaves a message for couples that neither one has to sacrifice their professional life for the other but together they can go forward and long live love.

The movie lasts an hour and a half and I recommend it for all those couples who are about to separate, give them a second chance.
