LOH contest #234. Am I a book or movie person? I would definitely say both.(ENG/ESP)

Good evening ladies!! Here I am finally again to participate in this fantastic contest, unfortunately I don't always find the time or the theme that inspires me but today I found it, because when it comes to entertainment I get excited! The question was a bit difficult for me, difficult to make a definitive choice between films and books or between other types of entertainment which for me are also TV series, anime, dramas and audiobooks.

However, I have always been passionate about both cinema and literature since I was little, I started with books as soon as I learned to read and it is a passion that if you follow my blog you will see because I shop for book reviews and it has never gone away. But I have always loved cinema too, mainly I liked drama and horror films but growing up I extended my cinematic tastes to other genres even if there are genres that I really don't like such as action films and crazy ones. Both in cinema and in reading I love the thriller, drama, biographical, historical, horror and fantasy genres. I go to periods with science fiction, same thing for the romantic genre. The same goes for other television entertainment. Before the advent of streaming platforms it was much more difficult to find TV series or drama or anime, I often followed them in episodes, waiting in front of the television from week to week, a real torture, much better now that I can binge watch or marathon TV series whenever I want, God bless streaming platforms!

Buenas noches chicas!! Aquí estoy por fin nuevamente participando en este fantástico concurso, lamentablemente no siempre encuentro el tiempo ni la temática que me inspira pero hoy lo encontré, porque cuando se trata de entretenimiento me emociono! La pregunta fue un poco difícil para mí, difícil hacer una elección definitiva entre películas y libros o entre otros tipos de entretenimiento que para mí también son series de televisión, anime, dramas y audiolibros. Sin embargo, siempre me ha apasionado tanto el cine como la literatura desde pequeña, empecé con los libros en cuanto aprendí a leer y es una pasión que si seguís mi blog podréis comprobar porque nunca he perdido la pasión por las compras y las reseñas de libros. Pero siempre me ha gustado el cine también, principalmente me gustaban las películas de drama y de terror pero a medida que crecí amplié mis gustos cinematográficos a otros géneros también aunque hay géneros que realmente no me gustan como las películas de acción y las películas de locura. Tanto en cine como en lectura, me encantan los géneros thriller, drama, biográfico, histórico, terror y fantasía.

En cuanto a la ciencia ficción, tiendo a seguir el mismo camino con el romance. Lo mismo ocurre con otros programas de entretenimiento televisivo. Antes de la llegada de las plataformas de streaming era mucho más difícil encontrar series de televisión o dramas o anime, muchas veces los seguía por episodios, esperando frente al televisor semana tras semana, una verdadera tortura, mucho mejor ahora que puedo ver series de televisión de forma compulsiva o maratoneándolas cuando quiera, ¡Dios bendiga las plataformas de streaming!

In fact, I have always pursued both passions with zeal, my house is in fact full of books everywhere as well as chaos but oh well let's leave it, but I also have various devices where I watch films and series a Smart TV, a tablet and my old cell phone where I installed all the film and series apps so as not to clog up the one I usually use, I could also want to answer the second question of the contest but there is little to say about my phone, I took the redmi that cost less and the tablet was given to me as a gift but I don't know much about technology, for me it's enough that it works and that I can put on it the apps that interest me like Netflix, Prime, Viki and Disney plus.

Anyway, getting back to us, I can't choose between books and films because they have both had a strong impact on my life and still have. I believe that reading is important and vital but also cinema and series are a different way to learn and to delve into certain topics and there are masterpieces both in books and in cinema. But I know for sure what kind of entertainment I don't like, I hate watching sports events!!

De hecho siempre he perseguido ambas pasiones con celo, mi casa de hecho está llena de libros por todos lados así como caos pero bueno dejémoslo, pero también tengo varios dispositivos donde veo películas y series un Smart TV, una tablet y mi viejo celular donde instalé todas las apps de películas y series para no colapsar la que uso habitualmente, también podría querer responder a la segunda pregunta del concurso pero de mi teléfono poco hay que decir, cogí el redmi que costó menos y la tablet me la regalaron pero no sé mucho de tecnología, para mí me basta con que funcione y que pueda ponerle las apps que me interesan como Netflix, Prime, Viki y Disney plus. De todos modos, volviendo a nosotros, no puedo elegir entre libros y películas porque ambos tuvieron un fuerte impacto en mi vida y todavía lo tienen.

Creo que la lectura es importante y vital pero también el cine y las series son una forma diferente de aprender y profundizar en determinados temas y hay obras maestras tanto en libros como en el cine. Pero sé con certeza qué tipo de entretenimiento no me gusta, ¡odio ver eventos deportivos!
