bodies bodies bodies, and maybe not

What I was looking for in this film was mainly horror. Jump scares and a mind-boggling plot that would keep me on edge. While I thought it fulfilled in some ways, I couldn't help but feel it generally wasn't worth the time spent.

Bodies bodies bodies actually is a lengthy title to mention every now and then. Maybe there could have been a little more creativity in it, but the point made in the film. I wouldn't say it was totally justifiable, though, but that's by the way.

In this film, someone got killed among the group of friends stuck in a mansion belonging to the parents of one of them. The problem is that the rest of the group doesn't know who did it. Every one panics and becomes suspicious of others, and then things started to spiral out of control with more people dying and the killer remaining unknown.

The drama begins much later in the film after a game of bodies bodies bodies. In the game, only one person is the killer, and others are to hide, trying not to be killed by being touched by the "killer." They never got to finish when the game became a reality.

Most of the beginning was weak to me. The film tried to provide insights on the dynamics of the relationship between each friend in the group; it all just looked like chaos to me. One was obnoxious, another wasn't straight, and most of them were into drugs. They all had very different personalities that would just all clash and chaos would ensue.

The only thrill for me was finding out who the killer really was. Aside from that, there wasn't much to hold on to. In between all that, though, there was just a lot of toxicity in the air and between each one of them. Some of the bickering and whatnot are actually comedic in some way, but they didn't necessarily make things better.

How things end... I couldn't even make much sense of the ending of the film. It wasn't anything I expected, but it left me feeling disappointed and not surprised. Meanwhile, some questions were left unanswered.

I'll say the film was trying to be as Gen-Z as possible. Made many of the songs, visuals, and even plot not sit quite right with me. I would have rather spent that time watching actual horror, but I understand that it may appeal to a different type of audience. Nonetheless, the cast was stellar.

I think I’ve seen a similar movie with the same plot.

And the funny part is, I was looking for the title of the movie until it hit me.😂😂

It is kind of similar to It's What's Inside, but that one was way better...imo

I don’t think I’ve seen that.
