Counting of has officially kicked off in various polling units across Lokoja, the bustling capital of Kogi state. A total of 157,248 residents signed up to exercise their voting rights, out of which 147,257 Permanent Voter Cards were successfully collected.

PU 064, Ward A, Lokoja: Here, the APC gathered 39 votes, while the PDP and SDP managed 10 and 26 votes, respectively.
Nuru Mubeen Open Space 052, Ward A, Lokoja: The APC led with 49 votes, while the PDP and SDP secured 6 and 20 votes, respectively.
Kamarudeen Shamsiyat PU22, Crowder Ward A: This precinct witnessed a tight contest with the APC clinching 53 votes, closely followed by the PDP with 22 votes, and the SDP also securing 53 votes.
