This is me reviewing another Deadpool movie this year, looks like I really have a Ryan Reynolds Addiction already lol
So I just rewatch Deadpool 2, and I'm still reeling from the experience. This movie is a true masterclass in balancing humor, action, and emotions, with a healthy dose of irreverence and self-awareness hehe. Don't get your hopes too high if you are not a fan of Action comedy - super hero kinda thing).
Without beating around the bush, let get straight to the plot.
The Plot: A very Beautiful Mess
The story picks up where the first film left off(His lover was Killed in a shootout with some bad guys and He[Deadpool] was heartbroken to the core of his soul) He tried severally to Kill himself which didn't work out because he can't die technically, that was his super powers anyway.
Now the Deadpool 2 started with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) aka Deadpool, still breaking the fourth wall as usual and killing bad guys with ease (A lot of Gory scenes here guys). However, things take a turn when a cyborg from the future, Cable (Josh Brolin), shows up to kill a young mutant named Russell (Julian Dennison).
Deadpool, being the Mr good guy he thinks he is, decides to protect Russell and team up with a group of misfits(Other Crazy ass Mutant), including Domino (Zazie Beetz), Bedlam (Terry Crews), and Shatterstar (Lewis Tan). Along the way, they must face off against Cable, who will stop at nothing to eliminate Russell.
Here are what stands out about the Movie for Me
✅The Humor: Raw, Witty, and Unapologetic
Deadpool 2 for me crazy funny, with some of the most clever and irreverent humor I've seen in a superhero movie.
I hand it all over to Reynolds' quick wit and sarcasm are on full display, and the film's self-awareness is both refreshing and hilarious.
l
We can see the comedic genius From the opening credits to the post-credits scene, the movie is full of clever references, pop culture nods, and ridiculous jokes. The humor is not just limited to Deadpool's antics; the entire cast gets in on the fun, with standout performances from Beetz and Dennison.
✅The Action (super On point): Fast-Paced and Visually Stunning
The action scenes in Deadpool 2 are impressive and very well-choreographed. In The film's we can see slow-motion, quick cuts, and clever editing makes for a visually stunning experience.
The action is not just limited to Deadpool's solo moments; the team-up scenes with the X-Force are some of the most exciting and entertaining moments in the movie, a great X-Men team up I must say.
The Emotional touch: A Surprisingly Emotional Core
Beneath all the humor and action, Deadpool 2 has a surprisingly emotional core. The film explores themes of family, friendship, and redemption, and it does so in a way that feels authentic and heartfelt.
In this movie Reynolds brings a depth and vulnerability to Wade Wilson that makes him feel like a fully realized character. The supporting cast, particularly Beetz and Dennison, also deliver standout performances that add to the film's emotional resonance.
The part where He took a Bullet for the team even when he was wearing that Device that nullify Mutant powers, it was truly a heroic and Emotional scene to me.
My Verdict for Deadpool 2:
Deadpool 2 is a worthy sequel to the original (Deadpool 1), and it's a must-see for fans of the franchise.
Trust me I have seen many movie sequel come out extreme poor, this one is not one of those,
The film's unique blend of humor, action, and heart makes it a standout in the superhero genre.
If you're looking for a movie that will make you laugh, cheer, and maybe even shed a tear or two, then Deadpool 2 is the movie for you.
For Me, My Rating for Deadpool 2 is a Solid 9/10
Recommendation:
I strongly recommend Deadpool 2 If you enjoyed the first Deadpool movie, or if you're a fan of superhero movies with a dash of humor and irreverence, then Deadpool 2 is a must-see. However, if you're the type that is easily offended or prefer more straightforward, serious superhero movies, then you may want to look elsewhere, Deadpool 2 is not for you.

I watched this movie few months back, and didn't even watch till the end. It was quite humourous—something that didn't resonate with me. I was expecting a more serious, focused character displaying eye-catching action scenes.
Some of my friends found it quite interesting but I couldn't quite relate. Perhaps I might sit down and rewatch, maybe only then will I come to agreement with the movie plot.
I can clearly understand you are not a fan Action-comedy kinda film, trust me I am also not a fan of romance but seeing action, comedy, romance all in play in a super hero movie, I just have to enjoy the mix, @chuksmeezy to enjoy this movie don't put your hopes on a very serious action display, it's mixed with a lot of hilarious stuff and a touch of emotions.
I'm a fan of both Deadpool movies. I feel that this second installment far surpasses its predecessor in achieving a balance between so many cameos, character development, dark humor and action. And that's without mentioning the incredible soundtrack and the well-done CGI that this film has.

Right? I guess that's an effective way to open up my mind to the thrilling possibilities it has to offer.
I'll do just as you've said perhaps I'd see it in a different perspective. Thanks for this✨
You are welcome 🤗
