I hope you are feeling well, I'm better at least better than the last weeks, little by little I've been getting out of my personal problems, but well, it's time for a review! And of course, if it's Halloween 🎃 you may not know it but Halloween is one of my favorite dates of the year, I really like the horror theme especially for the series, movies and stories, they have fascinating and interesting things for me, beyond being scary, which does not mean that I'm not afraid of something 😅 but yes, I really like Halloween 🤭 in fact I take the whole month of October as Halloween and my dream is to dress up most of the month. And well, to remember this day, I want to bring you a review of this very good movie by Tim Burtom "The Corpse Bride" which is definitely a 10/10 or is that it is wonderful, centered in a European culture is an animated Halloween movie of a story of love, terror and moral of life and death, with its own plot of mystery Tim Burtom style, with an excellent musical in most of his scenes and good people, within my movies only surpasses it Nightmare Before Christmas of the strange world Jack Skeleton 🤩. How in all my reviews I will offer you a brief summary and my comments about the movie 🎥.

Our story is set in the young Victoria Everglot, who like any young man at a certain age European family recognized but barely must be maintained, must marry a young maiden and bring pride to his family, besides getting out of their economic crises that surround him. Victor is a man with dreams ahead of him, but carrying the weight of his family's problems has made him a fragile and nervous person, and he often stumbles over everything he encounters. In that he meets Victoria Everglot a young maiden that Victor must woo and impress her parents to give approval for their marriage and at the same time cover the expenses of Victor's family and his future wedding, Victoria's family like Victor's was created to be the pride of his family, they treat her as an object that all the other men of the other houses must covet and make a profit from the union of the feelings of the other. But everything goes wrong for both families, Victor forgets his important wedding vows for a Victorian era of not knowing his commitments as Victoria's future groom and the father reprimands him and warns him that if he returns and does not know his vows he will not be able to marry. Victor seriously likes Victoria when he sees her he considers her a beautiful and intelligent woman, so he goes to a forest to practice his vows, with a moment of firmness Victor recites his vows and places the ring on a tree frog, in that the tree opens and out comes a woman with a look with a part showing her bones and the other skin a cadaverous state, in that Victor knows it is a dead woman who is alive, her name Emily Corpse and says "Yes, I accept" to Victor's vows, She listened to everything that Victor said and it turns out that she was in that tree waiting for someone with true love that could get her out of her long wait, Emily does not know Victor but clearly perceives that he is not a bad person so little by little she gets attached, Victor for his part is scared but at the same time tries to understand what is happening and what happened to Emily, then for Victor to finish understanding Emily takes him to hell or underworld where all people who have died go to rest .....or to continue living in a world just for them... .

Well what can we say more than I love it and consider it a work of art?First, as a work of art it's very good, it's short for what it lasts, it's animated, they don't try to give us something strictly serious since it's something that borders on fantasy and people's beliefs, especially in times of Halloween where the dead come back etc... so to take seriously things like "I just saw that person and I fell in love" because the movie has other unreal things that in fact that thing would be the most genuine, so the work of the movie, the animation, the plot, that from the beginning to the end they remind us again and again what it is about, the essence of the people and the environment and context in which they are located I give them a 10/10.

This movie also has social messages, for example the fact that both protagonists have dreams some more developed than others but nobody thinks about them, Victor who is an embarrassment to his family knows how to play the piano and could excel in that, but his family is so selfish and the fact of being a man in a Victorian era has to bring wealth to his family. Victoria on the other hand despite being a studied person her dreams are almost not seen, they are overshadowed by the pressure of her family to be delivered as an object to the highest bidder just as they did as Emily to generate alliances and put her family's status higher, but neither of them think what either of them want let alone how they feel, Emily, who in my opinion represents the unexpected death of an unfinished story if you understand them, allows them to choose between surrendering to death and separating or continuing together, and furthermore, taking revenge on the one who hurt them so much, do we have to wait for death to decide and be close to it to start deciding where we want to take it? We do not understand life, because we have the conviction that someday we are going to die but not today, but death understands it perfectly.

The film also gives us a message about the end and that there after life, we are shown even historical people who died years ago, and instead of being in paradise or eternal punishment, they are in one place, a place where they do not have to do anything and at the same time they can do whatever they want with freedom, where they decide what to do from the life they choose to live, and this is seen in the appearance of each one, some still possess the objects that they died with, others do not even have a complete body, this gives to understand that even in the other world they are still attached to that which took their life asking to be free of it and continue, since there is neither a punishment nor a reward. As they said in the movie ”Who wants to go to the world of the living if people are dying to come here” and this apart from being sarcastic is very logical, if the living knew that after death they could drink, eat and do anything that a living person could not without any restriction, or rest, people would literally die to go to that place. Death in this movie is not final, but it is the end in the world of the living to start walking in the world of the dead.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, yo estoy mejor al menos mejor que las últimas semanas, poco a poco he ido saliendo de mis problemas personales, pero bueno, se viene reseñita que ya tocaba! Y como no, si ya es Halloween 🎃 ustedes capaz y no lo saben pero Halloween es una de mis fechas favoritas del año, me gusta mucho la temática de terror sobre todo por las series, las películas y las historias, tienen cosas fascinantes e interesantes para mí, más allá de dar miedo, que ojo, no significa que yo no le tenga miedo a algo 😅 pero si, me gusta mucho el Halloween 🤭 de hecho yo me tomo todo el mes de octubre como Halloween y mi sueño es poder disfrazarme la mayoría del mes. Y bueno, para memorar este día, quiero traerles una reseña de esta película muy bueno de Tim Burtom “La Novia Cadáver” que definitivamente es un 10/10 o sea es que es maravillosa, centrada en una cultura europea es una película animada de Halloween de una historia de amor, terror y moraleja de la vida y la muerte, con su propia trama de misterio al estilo Tim Burtom, con una excelente musical en la mayoría de sus escenas y buenos personas, dentro de mis películas solo la supera Pesadilla Antes de Navidad del extraño mundo Jack Skeleton 🤩. Cómo en todas mis reseñas les ofreceré un breve resumen y mis comentarios acerca de la película 🎥

Nuestra historia se ambienta en el joven Victoria Everglot, quien como todo joven a cierta edad Europea de una Familia reconocida pero de a duras penas debe mantenerse, debe casarse con una joven doncella y traer orgullo a su familiar, además de sacarlo de sus crisis económica que lo rodean. Víctor es un mucho que tiene sueños por delante, pero cargar con el peso de los problemas con su familia lo han llevado a ser una persona frágil, nerviosa y muchas veces a tropezarse con lo que se encuentra. En eso conoce a Victoria Everglot a una joven doncella que Víctor debe cortejar e impresionar a sus padres para que den la aprobación de su matrimonio y a la vez cubran los gastos de la familia de Víctor y de su futura boda, la familia Victoria al igual que la de Víctor fue creído para ser el orgullo de su familia, la tratan como un objeto que todas las demás hombres de las demás casas deben codiciar y sacar un beneficio de es unión de los sentimientos del otro. Pero todo sale mal para ambas familia, Víctor olvida sus votos de boda importante para una época victoriana de no saberse sus compromisos como futuro novio de Victoria y el padre lo reprende y le advierte que de volver y no saberse sus votos no podrá casarse. Víctor en serio gusta de Victoria al verla la considera una mujer hermosa e inteligente, así que va a un bosque a practicar sus votos, con un momento de firmeza Víctor recita sus votos y coloca el anillo en una ranita un árbol, en eso el árbol se abre y sale una mujer con un aspecto con una parte mostrando sus huesos y la otra la piel un estado cadavérico, en eso sabe Víctor que es una mujer muerte que esta viva, su nombre Emily Corpse y dice “Si, acepto” a los votos de Víctor, ella escucho todo lo que Víctor decía y resulta que ella estaba en ese árbol a la espera de alguien con amor verdadero que pudiera sacarla de su larga espera, Emily no conoce a Víctor pero percibe claramente que no es una mala persona así que poco a poco se va encariñando, Víctor por su parte por un lado asustado pero a la vez trata de comprender que está sucediendo y que le pasó a Emily, acto seguido para que Víctor termine de comprender Emily lo lleva al infierno o inframundo donde todo las personas que han muerto van a descansar….o a continuar viviendo en un mundo solo para ellos

Bien que podemos decir más que me encanta y la considero una obra de arte?🤣 Ya en serio, esta película tiene varios elementos que hay que analizarlos con detalles para darse cuenta, primero como obra de cinta está muy bien, es corta para lo que dura, es animada, no buscan meternos algo estrictamente serio ya que es algo que roza la fantasía y las creencias de la gente sobre todo en épocas de Halloween donde los muertos regresan etc… así que tomarse en serio cosas como que “a penas vi a esa persona y me enamoré “ porque en si la película tiene otras cosas irreales que de hecho esa cosa vendrían siendo la más genuina, así que obra de película, la animación, la trama, que desde el inicio a fin nos lo recuerdan una y otra vez de que se trata, la esencia de los personas y el ambiente y contexto en qué se ubican yo les doy un 10/10

Esta película también tiene mensajes sociales, por ejemplo el hecho de que ambos protagonistas tienen sueños unos más desarrollados que otros pero nadie piensa en ellos, Víctor que es una vergüenza para su familia sabe tocar el piano y podría destacarse en eso, pero su familia es tan egoísta y el hecho de ser hombre en una época victoriana tiene que traer riqueza a su familia. Victoria por otro lado pese a ser una persona estudiada sus sueños no se ven casi, son opacados por la presión de su familia de ser entrega como un objeto al mejor postor tal como hicieron como Emily para generar alianzas y poner más en alto el estatus de su familia, pero ninguno de ellos piensa que quiere alguno de los dos y mucho menos en qué siente, Emily que en mi opinión represente la muerte inesperada de una historia inconclusa si los entiende, les permite escoger entre entregarse a la muerte y separarse o continuar juntos, y además, vengarse de aquel que le hice tanto daño, ¿tenemos que esperar que la muerte decida y estar cerca de ella para empezar a decidir sobre nuestra a hacia dónde queremos llevarla? Nosotros no comprendemos la vida, porque tenemos la convicción de que algún día vamos a morir pero hoy no, en cambio la muerte la entiende perfectamente.

La película también nos da un mensaje sobre el final y que ahí después de la vida, se nos muestra incluso personas históricas que murieron hace años, y en vez de estar en el paraíso o un castigo eterno, están en un solo lugar, un sitio donde no tienen que hacer nada y a la vez pueden hacer lo que quieran con libertad, donde ellos deciden que hacer a partir de la vida que escogiera realizar, y esto se ve en el aspecto de cada quien, algunos aún poseen los objetos que con que murieron otros ni tienen cuerpo completo, esto da entender que incluso en la otro mundo siguen apegados a aquello que les quitó la vida pidiendo liberarse de eso y continuar, ya que no hay ni un castigo ni una recompensa. Cómo lo dijeron en la película “Quien quiere ir al mundo de los vivos si la gente se muere por venir acá” y esto aparte de sarcástico es muy lógico, si los vivos supiesen que después de la muerte podrían beber, comer y hacer cualquier cosa que un vivo no podría sin ninguna restricción, o descansar, la gente literal se moriría por ir a ese sitio. La muerte en esta película no es final, pero si es el final en el mundo de los vivos para comenzar a andar en el mundo de los muertos.
