On the other hand I'm also happy because finally my month is here, that's right and I'm not talking about my birthday 🤣 that's in July, I'm talking about the month of May is the month of the Force, the month of every self-respecting Star Wars fan knows that The May Force With 🙌🏻 is coming. The month that every fan of the saga created by Mr. Lucas expects premieres, announcements and surprises from Lucasfilms about Star Wars, also where traditionally there are events or marathons of all the audiovisual material we have of Star Wars so far 😎. I could really do a whole post talking about why the month of May is Star Wars day, but it's about another day 🤭 this time I bring you the second installment of what is known of the trilogy of prequels, Star Wars Episode II, this movie has years since it came out but is still among my favorites ❤️ so today I will give it a space in my blog and to you a review of what it is about, I hope you like it 🙌🏻.

Our story begins with problems in the Galactic Republic, where the senate is concerned that several systems previously loyal to the republic, are independent and separated from it, forming a new alliance under the command of former Jedi Count Dooke. In desperation, the senate votes on a bill that would allow the supreme chancellor to create an armed army for the republic in the face of threats of war. Seeking to preserve peace, Senator Amidala, former Queen of Naboo, seeks to vote in opposition to this bill, her vote being important, the senator is threatened with assassination several times, fearing for her life, The Jedi Council assigns Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padawan Anakin Skywalker, who has not seen Senator Amidala for 10 years and who has a strong feeling for her despite the Jedi Code, to be her personal bodyguards and to find out who seeks to assassinate the Senator, not knowing that everything is a chain that seeks to bring the galaxy to war.

Well, let's start with the details and then say what I like about the movie 🤣. Obviously I'm not blind, this movie is far from reaching many of those that may come out of the Star Wars franchise (except the sequels that nobody likes 🙄) in the super exaggerated surprise and suspense performances, the awkward moments of silence, the inconclusive discussions that came to nothing or the meaningless dialogues between Obi-Wan and Anakin, I know that. But all this has an explanation, that doesn't take away how bad things were but it justifies why it was like that, first at this point of the saga when George Lucas was making this installment he was just building the characters and the story of the prequels and he had no idea what he was going to do for the third installment, what I mean is that this was made with what he had, without time to fix or rethink the ideas.

Sure you see this, in 2003 which I think was where it was released, and you say "Oh wow" now the effects for animation are very outdated, but by then it was the latest, however I feel that the lightsaber combat was very weak for how it looked in Episode I and not to mention the artwork that was seen in Episode III. Now all this does not take away from the fact that if you analyze it well, it has many flaws, but we can not do anything about something that came out more than 15 years ago and that continues to sell and be part of the childhood of many. In fact of this movie are many memes of why Obi-Wan is the most beloved character of Star Wars, I even consider the Jesus Christ of Star Wars by the attire of the same episode 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Now, something that if the Star Wars fanbase complains so far and reason I don't take away from them, is that 60% of the movie is the romance, chanceo, flirting or courting a bit toxic for my taste 🤣 between Padme and Anakin, and that's fine, there are people with tastes of tastes, but I think that this element can not be eliminated from the film, because the film itself seeks to tell how the relationship between a Jedi and a senator is formed in secret, and how this will generate problems later, but the detail is how they captured it in the film. If only it hadn't been so forced, less dramatic and toxic, with more real dialogues and subtle ways of putting a romance in the middle of an armed conflict, it would have been better, but as I said, lack of ideas for the time. However, why is it in my top favorite movies? Because of the obvious plot itself, the clone attack and the duels give it more points, but the plot and the story itself I really like, a story of an armed political conflict, where a war is about to break out and the main characters are two people in love but their roles prevent them from being together ? That for a book, I would read it 🤭.

Por otro lado también estoy contento porque por fin llegó mi mes, así es y no hablo de mi cumpleaños 🤣 eso es en julio, habló de que el mes de Mayo es el mes de la Fuerza, el mes de todo fan que se respete de Star Wars sabe que se acerca el May The Force With You 🙌🏻. El mes que toda la fanática de la saga creada por el señor Lucas espera estrenos, anuncios y sorpresas de parte de Lucasfilms acerca de Star Wars, también dónde tradicionalmente se hacen eventos o maratones de todo el material audiovisual que tenemos de Star Wars hasta ahora 😎. De verdad podría hacer un post entero de hablar del porqué el mes de Mayo es el día de Star Wars, pero se tema de otro dia 🤭 en esta ocasión les traigo la segunda entrega de lo que se conoce de la trilogía de precuelas, Star Wars Episodio II, está película tiene años desde que salió pero sigue estando dentro de mis favoritas ❤️ así hoy le daré un espacio en mi blog y a ustedes una reseña de lo que se trata, espero les guste 🙌🏻.

Nuestra historia comienza con problemas en la República Galáctica, dónde el senado está preocupado porque varios sistemas antes leales a la república, sean independizados y separados de ella, formando una nueva alianza al mando del ex Jedi el Conde Dooke. Desesperados el senado somete a votación un proyecto de ley que permita al Canciller supremo crear un ejército armado para la república ante las amenazas de guerra. Buscando preservar la paz, la senadora Amidala ex Reina de Naboo, busca votar en oposición a esta ley, siendo importante su voto la senadora es amenazada de magnicidio varias veces, temiendo por su vida, el consejo Jedi asigna al maestro Obi-Wan Kenobi y al padawan Anakin Skywalker que tiene 10 años sin ver a la senadora Amidala y quién guarda un sentimiento enorme por ella pese al código Jedi, son puestos como sus guardaespaldas personales y averiguar quien busca asesinar a la senadora, sin saber que todo es una cadena que busca en que la galaxia caiga en una guerra.

Bueno, empecemos por los detalles para luego decir lo que me gusta de la película 🤣. Obviamente no soy ciego, está película está por muy lejos llegarle a muchas de incluso ahorita de las que puedan salir de la franquicia de Star Wars (menos las secuelas que a nadie le gustan 🙄) en las actuaciones de sorpresa y suspenso súper exageradas, los momentos de silencio incómodos, las discusiones inconclusas que no llegaban a nada o los diálogos sin sentido entre Obi-Wan y Anakin, eso lo se. Pero todo esto tiene una explicación, que no quita lo mal que fueron las cosas pero justifica el porqué fue así, primero en este punto de la saga cuando George Lucas estaba sacando está entrega apenas el estaba construyendo lo que eran los personajes y la historia de las precuelas y no tenía ni idea que iba a hacer para la tercera entrega, lo que quiero decir es que esto fue hecho con lo que se tenía, sin tiempo de arreglar o repensar las ideas.

Claro tu ves esto, en el 2003 que creo que fue donde se estrenó, y dices “Oh vaya” ahorita los efectos para de animación están muy desactualizado, pero para ese entonces era lo último, sin embargo siento que el combate con sables de luz quedó muy flojo para como se vio en el Episodio I y ni hablar de la obra de arte que se vio en el Episodio III. Ahora todo esto no quita que la entrega analizando bien se le consigna muchos defectos, pero no podemos hacer nada de algo que ya salió hace más de 15 años y que sigue vendiendo y siendo parte de la infancia de muchos. De hecho de este película están muchos memes de porque Obi-Wan es el personaje más amado de Star Wars, hasta considero el Jesucristo de Star Wars por el atuendo del mismo episodio 🤣🤣🤣

Ahora, algo que si la fanaticada de Star Wars se queja hasta ahora y razón no les quito, es que un 60% de la película es el romance, chanceo, coqueteo o cortejo un poco tóxico para mí gusto 🤣 entre Padme y Anakin, y está bien, hay gente con gustos de gustos, pero yo creo que este elemento no se puede eliminar de la película, porque en sí la película busca contar cómo se forma la relación a escondidas de un Jedi y una senadora, y como este generará problemas después, pero el detalle está el como lo plasmaron en la película. Si tan solo no hubiese sido tan forzoso, menos dramático y tóxico, con diálogos más reales y formas sutiles de meter un romance en medio de un conflicto armado, habría salido mejor, pero como les dije, faltas de ideas para la época. Sin embargo, ¿ por qué está dentro de mi top de películas favoritas? Por la misma trama obvio el ataque de los clones y los duelos le da más puntos, pero la trama y la historia en sí me gustan mucho, una historia de un conflicto político armado, donde está a punto de estallar una guerra y los protagonistas son dos personas enamoradas pero que sus roles les impide estar juntos ? Eso para un libro, yo lo leería 🤭
