Entergalactic (2022)

I was patiently waiting for the time, the moment I'd have to motivation or the spark to write about this. It was sometime around 2022, I had just graduated high school and you know,I was having a mini holiday without the idea of school books to myself. I can't believe I genuinely thought reading and studying in university is going to be so much less than how I read in high school. Oh,how I wish I could go back in time for a bit,sit myself down for like an hour or two and legit warn me what's to come, how it's going to be and all that.

Alright, enough of that. Let's move on to this movie and talk about it. The first thing you need to know is, it's an animated movie. Not so many people like animations and I have no idea why. Sometimes,it pisses me off when someone can't see the beauty in an animation, calling it a kids show when you can literally see a wild shooting or sensitive content scene in the show. But hey, people have their preferences. I don't just like when they criticize what other people enjoy watching. I'm literally speaking from experience cause it's wild out here y'all.

Alright, Entergalactic, Entergalactic and Entergalactic. Is it an English word? No,it isn't. But does it have an meaning in the show? Sort of. The Netflix show,"Entergalatic" seems to refer to a state of being or a realm that's beyond the ordinary, perhaps even cosmic or otherworldly.

Entergalactic is a Netflix 2022 animated movie and it revolves around the life of Jabari. Jabari is a young, talented street artist in New York City who's on the cusp of something incredible. He's just landed a sweet apartment and a partnership with a comic book company to turn his graffiti character, Mr. Rager, into a full-fledged comic series.

Fresh off a breakup with his girlfriend, Carmen, Jabari's determined to focus on his art and career, with encouragement from his buddies Jimmy and Kyra. He meets Meadow, a photographer and his new neighbor, a cool, stylish, slightly mysterious presence that kinda throws a wrench in his "focus" plan.

They start bumping into each other. Random encounters happen, like at the laundromat or on the street. Jabari is being advised by his friend Nadia, a quirky art curator, on how to woo this fine woman. It's clear there's a connection, but Jabari's hesitant to jump into anything serious so soon after his breakup.

As Jabari navigates his burgeoning art career, he and Meadow slowly start to build a relationship. They bond over shared interests – art, music, city living – and their individual creative passions. Their first date is actually at the MoMA . He finds out that she is actually pretty cool and that he is a really good artist.

Things get complicated as Jabari’s career takes off and jealousy starts to emerge from Meadow. But as she shows more, the art does too. Jabari's really trying to balance his feelings for Meadow with the demands of his work, and the pressure is mounting. There are a few hiccups and misunderstandings. All this happens while new music starts playing in the background. These songs are symbolic of the current state of their relationship.

Eventually, Jabari realizes he doesn't want to mess this up with Meadow. He's starting to acknowledge that love is like art: a process. After some emotional ups and downs, they decide to really explore their feelings for each other. But things almost got ruined after Meadow thought Jabari was sleeping with his ex-girlfriend (Carmen). Meadow quickly gets over and they finally start dating.

The climax hits during a massive gallery showing of Jabari's Mr. Rager comic book. It's a huge success, a culmination of his artistic journey. But the real triumph is that Jabari realizes he's found something even more important: a genuine connection with Meadow.

The story ends with Jabari embracing love, vulnerability, and the chaos of life and his passion for Meadow. With each step, he comes closer to her and closer to heaven.

I watched this movie five times! Five good times! That's how much I liked it. The sound track is incredible and the animation is so so cool. I really enjoyed watching this. It's been a while I've seen it. Might just rewatch again or something.
But asides all that, it's a good show and it's worth your time, it's worth watching. Another thing; I just want to let you know that it's not suitable for kids under like 16 or something. They're some crazy scene that I wouldn't consider suitable for kids.

Alright, that's it. Thanks for readingg.
