This was the first movie that came to mind the moment I saw this week's contest. Probably because it's one of those movies that I like. I'm not sure if I have a particular favorite movie, but this movie is part of my favorites for big events.

Movie Summary
Crazy Rich Asians is a romantic drama movie that was released in 2018.

The movie is about Rachel Chu (Constance Wu), a professor of economics at New York University, who, together with her boyfriend Nick Young (Henry Golding), traveled to Singapore for his best friend's wedding.

Rachel knew nothing about her boyfriend's background until they were led to first-class seats on the plane. She turned and asked Nick what was happening, and he told her that his family is wealthy and also went ahead to assure her that they will love her. But she didn't know the extent of their wealth.

After they had arrived in Singapore, before she met with Nick's family, Rachel visited her college roommate Goh Peik Lin, who was also from a wealthy family. She told them why she was in Singapore, and they asked who her boyfriend was, and she told them, and to her surprise, Goh Peik Lin and her entire family knew Nick and his family, and they revealed to her that Nick's family is extremely wealthy, has a real estate empire, and they are like royalty in Singapore.

Later that evening during her boyfriend's family dinner party, Rachel was introduced to the Young's family, and she had an awkward first meeting with Nick's mom, as she could feel Mrs. Eleanor doesn't like her, and also with the rest of the family members.

Rachel, who was devastated by her different encounter with Eleanor, Nick's mom, told her friend Peik Lin, who advised her to stand up to Eleanor and earn her respect.

Peik Lin gave Rachel a glamorous makeover for the wedding celebration, which made her stand out, and she impressed other guests with her stylish gown.

My opinion and rating
This is one of the few movies that I love everything about, starting from the cast. All the characters did exceptionally well, mostly Constance Wu and Henry Golding. I love their chemistry in the movie.

Everything about the movie is relatable mostly the cultural and class expectations, this is something that resonate with the audience.

The wedding scene is one that stands out for me; you could tell a lot of effort, ideas, and time were put into it. The wedding scene is just a masterful beauty, emotional depth, mind-blowing visuals, fashion, and cultural richness. The bride's custom-made gown was beyond stunning; her entrance was something else with the water flowing.

Everything about the wedding scene is just awesome.

Crazy Rich Asians is one movie I would recommend over and over again. The movie offers fresh and exciting scenes.

I would rate the movie 5/5, as I can't find a family in it.
