Big Fish and Begonia is a movie that I like, not only because I like this type of animation, but I also recommend it for its story, as I already told you, it was a little confusing for me, but why? Well, this plot makes you very excited about what happens to you after death, and it leads you to ask if there is something beyond, because for me it was what marked me the most about this film. Since it is a Chinese film or so I think, Obviously they have another culture and other beliefs, but can you believe that your soul after dying is going to wander through the ocean... that made me panic, and even more so, since I have thalassophobia hahaha.

About us? Where do we come from? And where do we go? These questions are asked by our protagonist Chun at the beginning of the film, and so she begins to tell her story, ensuring that each person is a huge fish in the ocean. The story develops showing us a little of the other world, it is said that they are not gods or people, simply the others and Chun belongs to that world. They have a rite of initiation, the “others” when they turn 16 must go to the world. of humans for 7 days, and when they return they will be older, but they must only last that time or they will be trapped in that world forever.

Before starting the initiation rite or that thing, we see how Chun's parents warn him about humans and to be very careful in a world that is very dangerous... Be careful with that information, well Chun says goodbye and enters a whirlpool He turns into a big red dolphin and goes to the other world through the ocean, and he goes to explore the ocean and see new things, and he claims that it is beautiful.

While in that world she traveled across the ocean and saw many beautiful and bad things. But the problems were already coming, on the 6th day Chun was a little curious or careless I would say, I observed a human and his little sister a lot, despite the warning they gave her, I observed this one with fascination, I don't know if it was that She realized that they were not as bad as she thought or that she thought they were cute, but she still kept her distance a little. However on the 7th day when trying to enter the whirlpool to return to her Chun world, she gets trapped in a fishing net. , and the human does not hesitate to go to his rescue, But if... as I said, it was already seen coming, He died in this rescue process, leaving his little sister desolate in her world.

Chun arrives in his world a little depressed and feeling guilty about the boy's death and wondering how to bring him back to life, And yes, here things are going from bad to worse, She found a way to do it, BUT this had a cost and brought many consequences, From the beginning I said that I found it sad, and I will admit that I almost cried, since not only the boy's death hurt me, that scene was heartbreaking and his crying little sister brings him a lot of pain, And as As it progresses, many more important things happen, I'm omitting many things so as not to tell the whole movie hahaha But basically the plot and the whole adventure starts from here with Chun in his world-saving the boy, and talking about his world, which by the way is super strange, There are all kinds of super strange beings, it reminded me a little of Spirited Away, but I also thought it was beautiful.

This movie left me with many questions in my head after I saw it, since I questioned a little the way I think things are, and even at one point I doubted my beliefs because I am somewhat religious. Hola hola qué tal espero que estén muy bien Hoy les vengo a recomendar una película que quizás para muchos es poco complicada, ya que su trama es un poco confusa, para mí realmente fue un poco triste y ya se darán cuenta por qué... pero sin más. Comencemos con: Big Fish and Begonia.

Big Fish and Begonia es una película que me gusta, no solo porque este tipo de animaciones sean de mi agrado, también la recomiendo por su historia, como ya les comente fue un poco confusa para mí, Pero por qué ¿? Pues está trama hace mucha ilusión a lo que sucede contigo después de la muerte, y lleva a preguntar que si existe algo más allá, pues para mí fue lo que más me marco de esta película, Ya que es una película china o eso creo, obviamente tienen otra cultura y otras creencias, Pero vaya a creer que tu alma después de morir va a deambular por el océano… eso me dio pánico y más, ya que tengo talasofobia jajaja.

¿Quienes somos? ¿De donde venimos? ¿Y a donde vamos? Estas preguntas las hace nuestra protagonista Chun al inicio de la película, Y así comienza a relatar su historia asegurando que cada persona es un enorme pez en el océano. La historia se desarrolla mostrándonos un poco del otro mundo, se dice que no son dioses ni personas, simplemente los otros y Chun pertenece a ese mundo, Y tienen un rito de iniciación, los “otros” al cumplir los 16 años deben ir al mundo de los humanos por 7 días, y al regresar ya serán mayores, pero solo deben durar ese tiempo o quedarán atrapados en ese mundo para siempre.

Antes de iniciar el rito de iniciación o esa cosa, vemos como los padres de chun le advierten sobre los humanos y que tenga mucho cuidado en ese mundo que es muy peligroso… Ojo con ese dato, bueno chun se despide, Y entra a un remolino pasa a convertirse en un gran delfín rojo y se va al otro mundo por medio del océano, y se va a recorrer el océano explorar y ver cosas nuevas, y afirma que es hermoso.

Estando en ese mundo recorrió el océano y vio muchas cosas bellas como malas. Pero ya se veían venir los problemas, el 6.º día Chun fue un poco curiosa o descuida diría yo, observo mucho a un humano y su hermanita, pesé a la advertencia que le hicieron, observo a este con fascinación no sé si fue que se dio cuenta de que no eran tan malos como pensaba o que le pareció lindo, pero igual mantuvo un poco la distancia, Aunque el 7.º día al intentar ingresar al remolino para volver a su mundo Chun, queda atrapada en una red de pescar, y el humano no duda en ir a su rescaté, Pero si… como dije ya se veía venir, Él murió en este proceso de rescate dejando a su hermanita en su mundo desolada.

Chun llega a su mundo un poco deprimida y sintiéndose culpable por la muerte del chico y preguntándose como devolverle la vida, Y sí, aquí las cosas se van de mal en peor, Encontró la manera de hacerlo, PERO esto tuvo un costo y trajo muchas consecuencias, Desde un principio dije que me pareció triste, y voy a admitir que casi se me salen las lágrimas, ya que no solo la muerte del chico me dolió, esa escena fue desgarradora y su hermanita llorando le aporta mucho dolor, Y a medida que avanza pasan muchas cosas más importantes, estoy omitiendo muchas cosas para no contar toda la película jajaja Pero básicamente de acá arranca la trama y toda la aventura con Chun en su mundo salvando al chico, y hablando de su mundo que por cierto es superraro, hay todo tipo de seres superextraños me recordó un poco al viaje de chihiro, Pero también me pareció hermoso.

Esta película me dejó con muchas preguntas en mi cabeza luego que la vi, ya que me cuestione un poco la manera en como creo que son las cosas, y hasta en un momento dude de mis creencias, porque soy un tanto religiosa, Me puse a pensar y si fuera verdad todo eso ¿? Pues si es cierto que la película es un poco fantasiosa, Pero hablo de esto de la incógnita de que no sabemos que nos espera más allá de la muerte, Lo que si me quedo claro después de esto es que debemos valorar el tiempo que estamos aquí y tratar de ser buenos en todos los aspectos, Pero ya basta me puse un poco filosófica je, je, je La película es buena, ese fue mi punto de vista espero que les haya gustado, y que vayan y la disfruten también y que me digan que les parece.
