Saludos Cinéfilos de la Comunidad #MoviesAndTVShows. Feliz y bendecido domingo tengan todos. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una publicación especial de una serie que me cautivó de manera inesperada con su primer capítulo. Se trata de Duna: La profecía. Y tranquilos que esta vez haré mi post Sin Spoilers.

  Esta serie fue estrenada a finales del año pasado, imagino que fue esperada por muchos fans de la Saga de Duna, sin embargo por mi parte, yo desconocía por completo su estreno y sobre todo su producción. Pero lo que sí recuerdo a la perfección es que al ver el estreno de su tráiler en la tv me causó tanta emoción y dije en voz alta debo verla! y avisarle a mi hermano (quien si es fan de esta grandiosa producción literaria).

  Si, mi hermano es muy fan de la saga, se emocionó e impresionó demasiado con las películas y su estreno, me comentaba que la primera entrega fue genial y la segunda fue aún mejor que la primera. Yo por mi parte lo vi como una película más, esto en gran parte se debía a que no entendí ni papa de la trama, se me hizo confuso la rivalidad de las casas, el por qué ocurría y sobre todo la discordia extremista existente entre los Atreides y los Harkonnen.

  La verdad es que el tema político siempre me ha resultado aburrido a nivel general, sea en película, vida real o a nivel histórico, nunca me ha llamado la atención y saco la conclusión (armando este post) que por eso las películas no me cautivaron tanto como esta serie.

  Desde hace meses que la vi completa y aunque en ocasiones me olvidé de ella, estuve siempre atenta a que terminara por completo para echarme un maratón. Me parece que hice lo correcto porque me vi 5 capítulos en una tarde/noche de la cual no me arrepiento para nada. Desde ese día tenía pendiente armar esta publicación para ustedes y aquí estoy finalmente.

  Tengo que resaltar unos cuantos aspectos que me agradaron de esta premisa, una de ellas y la más importante para mí fue el elenco de alta gama que eligieron para representar cada personaje. Desde leyendas del cine como Emily Watson, Travis Fimmel y Mark Strong hasta nuevos talentos descubiertos (al menos para mí, porque es la primera vez que los veo actuar) Chloe Lea y Jessica Barden.

  Cada personaje estuvo creado como anillo al dedo para estos grandes actores. La trama y explicación del origen de la rivalidad entre las poderosas casas para mí fue lo segundo mejor, todo estuvo demasiado bien hecho, con muchos detalles, donde cada capítulo te llenaba más de intriga para ver cómo resultaría lo siguiente.

  No puedo dejar de lado los efectos especiales utilizados a todo dar, así como la escenografía espectacularmente captada para disfrutar de panoramas y hermosos paisajes futurísticos, que me recordaron muchísimo a mi saga favorita de todos los tiempos Star Wars.

  El vestuario fue increíblemente fantástico, esos trajes hechos con tantos detalles elegantes no nada más para las damas sino también para los hombres, haciéndolos ver geniales y super refinados, dignos de la realeza.

  Esta serie tiene de todo, acción, suspenso, drama, romance, un tema político conspiratoriamente impresionante y lo mejor de todo, la banda sonora que va acorde a cada escena sin exagerar en ruidos excesivos o drásticos como hicieron en las películas, sobre todo en la primera.

  Yo quedé encantada con la primera temporada que consta de 8 episodios de 1 hora cada uno. Espero ansiosa la segunda parte para ver qué más sigue. Por ahora me queda volver a ver la primera temporada seguido por las 2 películas. Gracias a esta arriesgada producción puedo decir que me he vuelto fan de la saga de Duna. Por eso le otorgo sus bien merecidas:

  Greetings Cinephiles of the #MoviesAndTVShows Community. Happy and blessed Sunday to you all. Today, I want to share a special post about a series that suddenly captivated me with its first episode. It is about Dune: Prophecy. And don't worry, this time I will make my post Without Spoilers.

  This series was released at the end of last year, I imagine it was expected by many fans of the Dune Saga, however, for my part, I was completely unaware of its release and especially its production. But what I do remember perfectly is that when I saw the premiere of its trailer on TV, it caused me so much excitement,t and I said out loud I must see it! And tell my brother (who is a fan of this great literary production).

  Yes, my brother is a big fan of the saga, he was very excited and impressed with the movies and their release, he told me that the first installment was great and the second one was even better than the first one. I, for my part, saw it as just another movie, this was largely because I did not understand a bit of the plot, I was confused about the rivalry of the houses, why it happened, and especially the extremist discord between the Atreides and the Harkonnen.

  The truth is that the political theme has always been boring to me in general, whether in film, real life, or historical level, it has never caught my attention, and I draw the conclusion (putting together this post) that is why the movies did not captivate me as much as this series.

  I've been watching the whole thing for months, and even though I sometimes forgot about it, I was always waiting for it to be finished so I could have a marathon. I think I did the right thing because I watched five chapters in one afternoon/evening, and I don't regret it at all. Since that day,y I had to put together this post for you, and here I am finally.

  I have to highlight a few aspects that I liked about this premise, one of the,m and the most important for me was the high-end cast they chose to portray each character. From movie legends like Emily Watson, Travis Fimmel, and Mark Strong to newly discovered talents (at least for me, because this is the first time I've seen them act) Chloe Lea and Jessica Barden.

  Each character was created as a perfect match for these great actors. The plot and explanation of the origin of the rivalry between the powerful houses for me was the second best thing, everything was too well done, with many details, where each chapter filled you with more intrigue to see how the next one would turn out.

  I can't leave out the special effects used to the fullest, as well as the spectacularly captured scenery to enjoy panoramas and beautiful futuristic landscapes, which reminded me a lot of my all-time favorite saga Star Wars.

  The costumes were unbelievably fantastic, those outfits were made with so many elegant details not only for the ladies but also for the men, making them look cool and super refined, worthy of royalty.

  This series has everything: action, suspense, drama, romance, a political theme conspiratorially impressive, and best of all, the soundtrack that goes according to each scene without exaggerating excessive or drastic noises as they did in the movies, especially in the first one.

  I was delighted with the first season, which consists of 8 episodes of 1 hour each. I'm looking forward to the second part to see what else follows. For now, I have to re-watch the first season, followed by the two movies. Thanks to this risky production, I can say that I have become a fan of the Duna saga. That's why I give it its well-deserved:
