A warm and loving greeting to all the fans of good movies and series on Hive from #MoviesAndTVShows. Today I want to give you my opinion about a horror movie different from what I usually watch, recommended by @pashinni a few days ago where he raised an excellent review, which you can read HERE.

  I liked his opinion about the movie so much that I wrote it down in my pending list of films and gave it a chance finally because it is a horror movie. So today I'll tell you a bit about When Evil Lurks. As always, I warn you that my post does not contain Spoilers.

Origin

  This is an Argentine film released in 2023 and directed by Demián Rugna, who I think did a good job in this film, both for plot development and for the script used on the characters, full of a lot of mystery and suspense.

  When I found out that the movie told the story of demonic possession, it immediately captured my attention, these thrillers I always like to see these because it is a topic with which I learn, both from the culture of a religion and different from mine and for a case based on real events, where they usually tell some experience..

  This film stands out for several aspects, one of the ones that pleased me the most was the makeup used, that is, they took great care in many details and I give credit to the director for that, he did an excellent job and showed that without using exuberant special effects, you can sow terror in the viewer.

  The story line although more fantasy and fictional than real, was very well done as well since the way the director puts it, it's something that could happen. I also understand what @pashinni was referring to when he said it had some resemblance to the Blair Witches style.

  Another aspect that I enjoyed watching in the film is the performances of the children and the teenagers who work near the end of the film. The two little boys, despite their young age, did great, especially the little girl, she stood out by far, as did the teenager played by Emilio Vodanovich. Without a doubt, it was my favorite performance in the movie.

  Finally, I must point out that I loved the fact that I heard so many bad words and swear words by the main characters 😆 they said them so willingly and it caused me so much gratitude because I usually use them the same when I'm very upset but they say it with more style and determination. I liked that the movie didn't show censorship in this aspect.

  For giving even the dog the leading role, for knowing how to use the resources properly to the director of the film, for providing a creepy story, full of horror, more than horror simply and straightforwardly, I recommend you to see this film when you have the opportunity.

  Without hesitation, I give it 🌟🌟🌟🌟 and a half out of 5 Little Golden Stars for a job very well done. There are few Latin American films that I like but this one stands out by far from all the others I have seen.

  Un saludo caluroso y cariñoso a toda la gente fanática de buenas películas y series en Hive de #MoviesAndTVShows. Hoy quiero darles mi opinión sobre una película de terror diferente a lo que suelo ver, recomendada por @pashinni hace unos días atrás donde planteó una muy buena reseña, la cual puedes leer AQUI.

  Me gustó tanto su opinión sobre la película que la anoté en mi lista pendiente de films y le di una oportunidad finalmente por tratarse de una película de terror. Así que hoy les hablaré un poco sobre Cuando acecha la maldad. Como siempre, les aviso que mi post no contiene Spoiler.

  Este es un film argentino estrenado en el 2023 y dirigido por Demián Rugna, quien me parece que hizo un buen trabajo en esta película, tanto por un desarrollo de la trama como por el guión utilizado en los personajes, lleno de mucho misterio y suspenso.

  Cuando me enteré que la película contaba la historia de posesión demoníaca, enseguida capturó mi atención, estos thrillers siempre me gusta verlos porque es un tema con el cual aprendo, tanto de la cultura de alguna religión diferente a la mía como por algún caso basado en hechos reales, donde suelen contar alguna experiencia.

  Esta película destaca por varios aspectos, uno de los que más me agradó fue el maquillaje utilizado, o sea, se esmeraron en muchos detalles y le doy crédito al director por ello, hizo un excelente trabajo y demostró que, sin utilizar efectos especiales exuberantes, se puede sembrar terror en el espectador.

  La trama, aunque es más fantasiosa y ficticia que real, estuvo muy bien hecha también puesto que de la manera en que lo plantea el director, es algo que sin duda puede ocurrir. También entiendo a qué se refería @pashinni al decir que tenía cierto parecido al estilo de las Brujas de Blair.

  Otro aspecto que disfruté mucho de ver en el film son las actuaciones de los niños y el adolescente que trabajan casi al final de la película. Los dos niños pequeños, a pesar de su corta edad lo hicieron estupendamente, sobre todo la niña, ella destacó por mucho, igual el adolescente interpretado por Emilio Vodanovich. Sin duda alguna fue mi actuación favorita en la película.

  Por último, debo destacar que me encantó el hecho de escuchar tantas malas palabras, palabrotas o groserías por parte de los personajes principales 😆 las dijeron con tantas ganas y me causó tanta gracias porque yo suelo usarlas igual cuando estoy muy molesta pero ellos, de verdad que lo dicen con más estilo y ahínco. Me gustó mucho que la película no mostrara censura en este aspecto.

  Por darle hasta el perro protagonismo, por saber usar los recursos adecuadamente al director del film, por brindar una historia espeluznante, llena de horror, más que de terror de manera sencilla y simple, te recomiendo ver esta película cuando tengas la oportunidad.

  Sin dudarlo le doy 🌟🌟🌟🌟 y media de 5 Estrellitas Doradas por un trabajo muy bien hecho. Son pocas las películas latinoamericanas que me gustan, pero esta destaca por mucho ante todas las que he visto.
