Cassandra (2025) - Web-series Review

I just finished watching a series called "Cassandra." Which is a German series. Just released on Netflix, which I have been waiting for a long time. Because seeing the trailer of the series, the story looked very promising. Because, there are some movies and series that look like it will offer something new, just like I felt watching it. I finally finished watching it.

Series Overview

The series has a total of 6 episodes. This is a limited series. I mean, the story of this series is complete here. There will be no new season of this series in the future. The length of each episode is almost 45 minutes. So, you can watch the complete series in about 5 hours.

Story Summary

At first I thought I would see a story from the 80s-90s in it. But no, here is the story of modern times. Where a family has taken a new home. That house was built in 1971. This house is equipped with advanced smart home system. Due to which the whole house can be controlled. And this house is controlled by a robot. The name is Cassandra.

The series spans two timelines. One of which is from 1971 and the other is from 2025. Where the robot named Cassandra gets along with everyone. But they are not aware of the fact that where the Cassandra come from and what they are doing. But they are living comfortably with him. Cassandra then begins her death game. And what happens after that you have to watch in this series.

Genre & Experience

It is a drama, thriller, science fiction series. In this you can watch dramas, thrillers and science fiction in a combination of the three, which is very enjoyable to watch.

My Thoughts

Nothing so bad as a story. The story is very engaging from beginning to end. The story progressed slowly and I didn't find it boring at any point. Every now and then some twist and turn is seen, some mystery is revealed. The series will keep you hooked from start to finish. For those who liked the "Black Mirror" series, I can say that they will like this series a lot. If you watch the trailer of this series, you will say that the vibe of "Black Mirror" is coming. Really the series is very similar to "Black Mirror".

Viewer Discretion

You cannot watch this series with your family. Because, it has adult scenes in many places. Bleeding is shown in many places. Because of this you cannot watch with family.

Rating

The series is not very extraordinary but worth watching at least once. Which you will enjoy much more. I would rate this series 7.5 out of 10.
