Reseña: IntensaMente 2 // Review: Inside Out 2

Entre las películas de Pixar, IntensaMente debe ser una de mis favoritas, y entre las últimas sin duda la mejor. Acaba de estrenarse su continuación, y luego de ver el revuelo que está generando en la taquilla decidí verla en el cine, lo más rápido posible. Siendo su director Kelsey Mann.

Among Pixar's films, Inside Out has to be one of my favorites, and among the last ones without a doubt the best. Its sequel has just been released, and after seeing the commotion it is generating at the box office I decided to see it at the cinema, as soon as possible. Being its director Kelsey Mann.

Sinopsis: Luego de los eventos de la primera película, Riley sigue viviendo su vida de manera normal; sin embargo, la adolescencia con la pubertad ha llegado a su vida, y con ello nuevas emociones que manejan su mente. Estas nuevas emociones tendrán un conflicto con las antiguas, mientras Riley trata de sobrellevar un campamento de hockey.

Synopsis: After the events of the first film, Riley continues to live her life as normal; however, adolescence with puberty has come into her life, and with it new emotions that drive her mind. These new emotions will conflict with the old ones as Riley tries to cope with a field hockey camp.

Como en la anterior película, al poder ver la mente de Riley, veremos conceptos interesantes, como el sentido de identidad, creencias, etc; además que las nuevas emocionan logran crear un buen grupo de divertidos personajes. Lo malo es que la aventura principal es casi una copia de lo visto en la primera entrega, aunque no deja de ser divertido verlo.

As in the previous film, by being able to see Riley's mind, we will see interesting concepts, such as the sense of identity, beliefs, etc.; plus the new emotions manage to create a good group of fun characters. The bad thing is that the main adventure is almost a copy of what we saw in the first installment, although it is still fun to watch.

Por otro lado, a diferencia de la entrega anterior, se ve más las acciones de Riley e interacción con sus compañeras de campamento. La comedia sigue en su punto, y su diversidad para crear situaciones graciosas funciona. No llega a tener un pico emocional, como fue la escena con Bing Bong, pero si tiene algunas escenas de quiebre.

On the other hand, unlike the previous installment, you see more of Riley's actions and interaction with her camp mates. The comedy is still on point, and its diversity to create funny situations works. It doesn't reach an emotional peak, as was the scene with Bing Bong, but it does have a few breakout scenes.

La animación mejora, tras los 9 años de espera, y sigue mostrando un buen manejo de colores y diseños. La música repite lo escuchado en la primera entrega, se vuelve un clásico.

The animation improves, after the 9 years of waiting, and continues to show a good handling of colors and designs. The music repeats what we heard in the first installment, it becomes a classic.

Me ha gustado esta nueva entrega, sin llegar a los grados de brillantez del primer título, logra crear una divertida historia, mientras tratamos de entender el funcionamiento de la mente de Riley. Recomendable.

I liked this new installment, without reaching the degrees of brilliance of the first title, it manages to create a fun story, while we try to understand the workings of Riley's mind. Recommended.
