Hace pocos días acaban de publicar el primer teaser de IntensaMente 2, continuación de la primera parte, estrenada en el 2015. Siendo una de mis películas favoritas de las últimas décadas, y entre las mejores que recuerdo en animación, he decido darle una reseña. Los directores son Pete Doctor y Ronnie del Carmen.

A few days ago they just released the first teaser of Inside Out 2, sequel to the first part, released in 2015. Being one of my favorite movies of the last decades, and among the best I remember in animation, I decided to give it a review. The directors are Pete Doctor and Ronnie del Carmen.

Sinopsis: Riley Andersen es una niña de 11 años que dentro de su cabeza se encuentran 5 emociones: Alegría, Tristeza, Miedo, Disgusto e Ira. Estas emociones la han acompañado toda su vida y le ayudan a vivir el día a día. Sin embargo, al tener que mudarse con su familia a un nuevo estado, sus emociones tendrán que sobrellevar el gran cambio que supone ello.

Synopsis: Riley Andersen is an 11 year old girl who inside her head are 5 emotions: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger. These emotions have accompanied her all her life and help her to live day by day. However, when she has to move with her family to a new state, her emotions will have to cope with the big change that this entails.

No se que tan original pueda parecer la trama, pero cuando la vi por primera vez, me pareció algo único. Mostrando como dentro de cada persona las emociones apoyan a un humano para sobrellevar las diversas situaciones diarias. A su vez, se mezcla con una aventura donde Alegria y Tristeza, comprenderán la importancia de la última.

I don't know how original the plot may seem, but when I first saw it, it struck me as something unique. Showing how within each person emotions support a human to cope with various daily situations. At the same time, it is mixed with an adventure where Joy and Sadness, will understand the importance of the last one.

El ritmo es excelente, ya desde el comienzo. Cada secuencia es entretenida, en especial las que nos muestran partes de la mente humana, como los sueños, el pensamiento abstracto, el mundo imaginario, etc. De alguna manera es hasta cierto punto educativo, y a su vez mágico.

The pacing is excellent, right from the start. Each sequence is entertaining, especially the ones that show us parts of the human mind, such as dreams, abstract thinking, the imaginary world, etc. It is somehow educational to a certain extent, and at the same time magical.

En los aspectos de la animación, es inmejorable, con una buena mezcla de colores y diseño de personajes. La música es otro punto destacable, con una melodía que a pesar de repetirse bastante, acaba funcionando bien. Si hay algo que criticar a esta película es lo corta que acaba sintiéndose, era divertido ver este mundo.

In the animation aspects, it is unbeatable, with a good mix of colors and character design. The music is another highlight, with a melody that despite repeating itself quite a bit, ends up working well. If there is something to criticize this film is how short it ends up feeling, it was fun to watch this world.

Siendo una de mis películas favoritas de animación, no me queda mas que recomendarla. Esperando que la 2da parte, a estrenarse en junio del 2024, sea una digna continuación.

Being one of my favorite animated films, I can only recommend it. Hoping that the 2nd part, to be released in June 2024, will be a worthy sequel.
