My Favourite Christmas Movie
Christmas is in the air, and it's so beautiful how everywhere is decorated with trees, flowers and lights that lit up the whole place, making it more colourful and radiant. It's no exception with movies solely made for Christmas and how every scene hits the perfect spot while watching.
When it comes to movies, I prefer going for actions rather than any other, especially romance. Though some romance movies make sense, but it's so rare for me to want to choose any kind of such movie to watch. Once I open my Netflix app, I just go straight searching for action movie genres such as crime and violence. Those are movies that give me the vibe and thrill.
But there was this Christmas movie I watched some weeks ago, it was just the perfect movie to watch at that moment, and it was worth it. If you are looking for something lighthearted and one brimming with positivity, "Meet Me Next Christmas" is the perfect movie for it. I really did enjoy myself watching every scene filled with love and comedy.
Meet Me Next Christmas is a movie with a simple tale that is filled with love, laughter and emotions that will keep you smiling all through. It was done in the city of New York, and every scene was designed for the purpose of Christmas, and it was a visual delight.
The story is about a woman who met a man by chance at the airport, only to lose him after the few minutes they had this beautiful conversation, thereby leaving their reunion up to fate. Her last chance to meet him was at a sold-out Christmas Pentatonix concert. She sought the help of another man to help her find just one ticket to be able to meet her dream man after her boyfriend cheated her a day to Christmas thinking she could spend the moment with him.
Both of them went through a lot finding just a ticket to enter the concert, but as fate had it different, there was a twist, and they both fell in love after this Christmas show they both practised on, and that was it.
I don't want to give a spoiler alert of the movie for those who haven't watched it but the end was a romantic one filled with Christmas songs by the Pentatonix band. That movie made me go look for Pentatonix album straightaway on my Spotify app and added many to my list.
I thought this was a Christmas movie I would watch and that was it until I saw "Mary," a movie worth the watch that narrates the birth of Jesus by a young virgin named Mary. It was such an emotional and spirit-filled one, and I would say, these were my favourite movies for the year.
