Xerxes is a Celestial, Divine character of the 300 Franchise that is born of Gold poetically speaking, is a villain who has advanced to the next plane climbing to the level of Deity, all this that I write is my feeling and perception of what they wanted to build with this character and that they did manage to forge because I perceive the respect of the people when talking about Xerxes in this story, He really managed to bend the audiences by fully transmitting that we are in the presence of a King made God.
In my Soul I love the stories full of Celestiality, that legendary glory of the past that has been drowned between the skyscrapers of modernity that comes back to life by Executing The Resurrection through characters that show us the power of religion and the deities of yesteryear, nowadays we act as if rationality is what will guide us but in the depths of our minds we are still faithfully waiting for salvation since we are still slaves of those Kings that descended as Gods.
I am happy to focus this review on this character of power, I do not consider myself a believer of the scriptures or religions but that does not mean that I do not feel fascination for those ancient stories because in my case I see them that way, I observe in those sacred stories ancient narratives like the ones we see in the movies where this character is developed, if we could travel back in time to the past thousands of years ago and tell the story of Xerxes as we saw it in these films, how this Golden King reaches the Throne, I am sure that those ancient people would create a whole religion around him.
Xerxes es un personaje Celestial, Divino de la Franquicia 300 que nace del Oro poeticamente hablando, es un villano que ha avanzado al siguiente plano escalando al nivel de Deidad, todo esto que escribo es mi sensación y percepción de lo que se quiso construir con este personaje y que sí se logro forjar porque percibo el respeto de las personas cuando se habla de Xerxes en esta historia, Él de verdad logró doblegar a las audiencias al transmitir plenamente que estamos ante la presencia de un Rey hecho Dios.
En mi Alma Amo las historias llenas de Celestialidad, esa gloria legendaria del pasado que ha quedado ahogada entre los rasca cielos de la modernidad que vuelve a la vida al Ejecutar La Resurrección a través de personajes que nos demuestran el poder de la religión y las deidades de antaño, en la actualidad actuamos como si la racionalidad es lo que nos guiará pero en lo mas profundo de nuestras mentes seguimos esperando fielmente la salvación ya que somos aun esclavos de aquellos Reyes que descendieron como Dioses.
Estoy contento al enfocar esta reseña en este personaje de poder, no me considero tan creyente de las escrituras o religiones pero eso no quiere decir que no sienta fascinación por esas historias antiguas porque en mi caso las veo así, yo observo en esas historias sagradas antiguas narrativas como las que vemos en las películas donde se desarrolla este personaje, si pudiéramos viajar en el tiempo al pasado de hace miles de años y contar la historia de Xerxes tal y como la vimos en estos films, el como llega al Trono este Rey Dorado, estoy seguro que esas personas de la antigüedad crearían toda una religión en torno a él.

It's funny because while classmates in my college days were worrying because they were going to have kids, I was worrying about seeing the sequel that included this character, sometimes I wonder when will I grow up but then I say to myself why grow up if you can enjoy life writing a Xerxes Review haha.
Les comparto un video de un canal verificado de youtube que muestra una de las tantas y potentes escenas de Xerxes, resalto esta en específico porque soy fan de las culturas antiguas desde niño, recuerdo veía una serie infantil en Discovery Kids que hablaba de esas historias de Dioses enfocado en aquella antigua cultura Griega y me quedaba hasta las 2 de madrugada viendo esa serie, estoy seguro muchos de los que nos vemos impresionados ante este tipo de historias es porque en nuestra sangre esta el amor a este Genero Narrativo Épico que hasta inclusive se ha vuelto religiones porque es lo que el pasado de la humanidad nos demuestra.
Estoy de acuerdo con el enfoque antiguo que se le ha dado a Xerxes, fíjense que es Alto, llega un punto que hasta pienso su sangre de verdad es Dorada jaja, es la emoción de los personajes que uno ve y la Solemne ejecución de Directores y Guionistas que alimentan con el néctar sagrado la evolución de estos personajes.
La manera de hablar tan dominante y poderosa de Xerxes, todo lo que describo son cosas que cualquier niño quisiera ser al ser grande, todo lo que cualquier Hombre quisiera ser, este personaje lo conocí ya estando en La Universidad pero en mi mente soy un niño aún, yo nado felizmente en estas historias lo cual es algo de lo que me siento orgulloso porque eso es lo que permite disfrutar al máximo de personajes como Xerxes que a pesar de ser un Villano, yo termino admirándole.
Es gracioso porque mientras compañeros en mis tiempos de Universidad se preocupaban porque iban a tener hijos, yo me preocupaba por ver la secuela que incluía a este personaje, a veces me pregunto cuando será que madurare pero luego me digo para que madurar si puedes disfrutar de la vida escribiendo una Reseña de Xerxes jaja.

Los elementos a resaltar del personaje serían su Ego, mas que el Oro por sus venas lo que corre por todo su ser es el Ego puro, esto es un aspecto llamativo porque una cualidad masculina es justo esto que se conecta con el orgullo, los hombres somos esto y cuando lo perdemos entonces nos volvemos inseguros.
Lo anterior es notable por su modo de caminar, estoy seguro con esto que acabo de escribir vendrán a sus mentes variadas escenas en las que el personaje solo camina, lo hace tan magnánimo que de verdad siento envidia por este personaje porque tiene mucho estilo, es como si un Pavo Real lo volvieran dorado y caminara llamando toda la atención posible jaja.
Justo todo lo anterior es lo que Xerxes piensa que no puede perder y allí es donde entra la historia para hacerlo caer, descender desde los cielos y que conozca al menos por un segundo lo que es ser Mortal, a la final nosotros sabemos y somos testigos de como pierde toda esa Seguridad, de como pierde toda esa gallardía que le da el tener todos esos ejércitos a sus pies lo cual asocio con nuestro mundo real en el que vemos líderes que creen tenerlo todo porque claro con ejércitos de aduladores cualquiera se cree el mas fuerte.

Es un personaje con personalidad infinita, bien escrito, con líneas de diálogo como las que ven en el gif que transmiten el tal cual y como los fieles de distintas religiones ven a sus Dioses, los ven misericordiosos así esos Dioses les den migajas y pestilencia.
En ambas películas considero el personaje deja su gran huella y como no dejarla si tiene un pie gigante jaja, quiero resaltar también su maquillaje, estos detalles para nosotros en la vida actual pueden parecer normales pero en la antiguedad no era así, eso daba estatus y a esas personas a las que les damos esta característica adquieren poder, justo eso transmite Xerxes con tantos adornos y pintura facial, el poder que da el Status.
En aquellos tiempos yo no me podía creer que su actor Rodrigo Santoro fuese Xerxes, los veía tan diferentes, es allí donde la visión de un Director que conecta con su equipo de trabajo y Actor hace maravillas, se puede decir mucho de Snyder pero si el hombre logra la inspiración plena, visualmente de verdad te da Dioses.
