(ENG/SPA) Atlas Review: Artificial Inteligence is the next step in Human Evolution

• The Battles are Powerful:

This was what I loved most about the film, at least what I saw my feeling was of liking, there is a good conflict that ends in robotic fists and it is presented visually well with good special effects although they could have taken advantage of many more characters instead of wasting them.

• The Villain played by Simu Liu:

Hardly fulfills the narrative with him, I think the actor is potent in martial arts, he looks strange with all that makeup, hairstyle and eyes but I mean strange to bad which in the end is fine because he is an Artificial Intelligence we can see in the Trailer and he can look like that but his purpose and conviction are weak because Jennifer takes away all the minutes where more of him could be presented with the viewer understanding his acting and fearing him, he generates very little of the latter except when he pulls out his fists.

• The Feelings of the film:

I see them, I hear them but they do not reach my soul, I see an attempt to develop them that remains positively comic but not one like the one that happens in Terminator Two, that if it is a film that manages to perfectly develop the feelings of an Artificial Intelligence that manage to break the screen and reach an audience to shatter their hearts, as I would like to have felt half of that feeling but Atlas remains only and barely as an entertaining science fiction film.

• Las Batallas son Potentes:

Esto fue lo que mas me encanto del film, al menos lo que vi mi sensación fue de agrado, hay un conflicto bueno que termina en puños robóticos y se presenta visualmente bien con buenos efectos especiales aunque se pudieron aprovechar muchos mas personajes en vez de desperdiciarlos.

• El Villano interpretado por Simu Liu:

A duras penas cumple la narrativa con él, pienso el actor es potente en artes marciales, luce extraño con todo ese maquillaje, peinado y ojos pero me refiero extraño a mal lo cual a la final esta bien porque es una Inteligencia Artificial que podemos ver en el Trailer y puede lucir así pero su propósito y convicción son débiles porque Jennifer le quita todos los minutos donde se pudiera presentar mas de él con el espectador comprendiendo su actuar y temiéndole, genera muy poco de esto último excepto cuando saca los puños.

• Los Sentimientos del film:

Los veo, los escucho pero no me llegan al alma, veo un intento por desarrollarlos que queda positivamente cómico pero no uno como el que sucede en Terminator Dos, ese si es un film que logra desarrollar perfectamente los sentimientos de una Inteligencia Artificial que logran romper la pantalla y llegar a una audiencia para destrozarles el corazón, como quisiera haber sentido la mitad de esa sensación pero Atlas se queda solamente y a duras penas como un film de ciencia ficción entretenido.
