(ENG/SPA) Cooties Someone Who Saves The Children
Cooties es una película surreal con un dinamismo constante que se cae principalmente en su inicio por lo incoherente de sus personajes pero al tener el aspecto cómico se disfruta a partir del segundo acto donde alcanza un ritmo disfrutable mientras vemos gratamente morir niños zombis.
Su reparto es coral, todos tienen un buen peso sobre la trama, Elija Wood como Clint Hadson no se lleva todo el estrellato guiando la trama para conocer al resto de personajes que van floreciendo en sus personalidades exageradas.
Ahora destaco a Alison Pill como Lucy MacCormick porque apenas la vi me enamore de ella, no soy fan de las rubias pero de esta sí, físicamente me atrapo inmediatamente junto a esa personalidad tan dulce del personaje, es una angelito y lo que pudiera tener un primer acto extraño y torpe, gracias a ella quiero seguir viendo el resto del film llegando así al resto de la trama que es donde me atrapa la película y quedo feliz.
Las explicaciones me parecen coherentes, de hecho es un desperdicio en cierta forma el aspecto cómico porque se le pudiera dar un tono mas cuadrado, mas serio y los guionistas al centrarse en esto pudiera haberse obtenido un mejor desarrollo ya que la explicación zombi es muy solida.
Cooties is a surreal film with a constant dynamism that falls mainly in its beginning by the incoherent of its characters but having the comic aspect is enjoyed from the second act where it reaches an enjoyable pace while we see pleasantly die zombie children.
Its cast is choral, all have a good weight on the plot, Elija Wood as Clint Hadson does not take all the stardom guiding the plot to meet the rest of the characters that are flourishing in their exaggerated personalities.
Now I highlight Alison Pill as Lucy MacCormick because as soon as I saw her I fell in love with her, I'm not a fan of blondes but this one does, physically she caught me immediately along with that sweet personality of the character, she is a little angel and what could have a strange and awkward first act, thanks to her I want to continue watching the rest of the film thus reaching the rest of the plot which is where the film catches me and I'm happy.
The explanations seem to me coherent, in fact it is a waste in some ways the comic aspect because it could be given a more square tone, more serious and the screenwriters to focus on this could have obtained a better development because the zombie explanation is very solid.
Cuando veo películas de este tipo, me enfoco en esas normas para sus zombis, es decir las condiciones o reglas que tienen a seguir estas criaturas y la dada en el film es a mi parecer de las mas reales, planteare con mas solidez la razón de lo que pienso en zona de spoiler pero si eres de lo que gustan zombis con cierto toque científico práctico y real, en Cooties encontraras una evolución muy consistente del virus.
Quiero hacer énfasis que así como rescato la razón de ser de convertirse en zombi, no rescato para nada otros elementos de estas criaturas en la película porque son inestables, inconsistentes y en mi caso si que me afecta eso porque me agrada esas condiciones se respeten así se este en un film cómico.
Su base quiere desarrollarse en lo que pudiera ser un mundo real, hay sus momentos irreales entre personajes, sí y de hecho son varios los que para nada me agradan pudiendo haberse mejorado para que fueran mas digeribles al espectador porque son situaciones extrañas y ya, aun no me explico por que suceden pero ahí están.
La película sufre en el primer acto como todo film de zombis porque el arrancar requiere de condiciones o escenarios reales que si no se trabajan bien, pueden aburrir y aunque en este caso no es así, las situaciones son incomodas, son extrañas, no son graciosas haciendo que se merezca 6 chiquitos de 10.
Estos elementos caen sobre Rainn Wilson como Wade Jhonson donde añadido a lo anterior, su argumento no es muy consistente y Cooties sufre porque se le da demasiado peso a este personaje, a la final me agrada pero su inicio es detestable, una cosa es que el personaje sea así y otra es que me saque de la película por lo pésimo que es, de resto Cooties es disfrutable porque me da algo que nunca había visto lo cual es una bonita aventura zombi infantil.
When I see movies of this type, I focus on those standards for their zombies, ie the conditions or rules that have to follow these creatures and the one given in the film is in my opinion one of the most real, I will raise more solidly the reason for what I think in spoiler zone but if you like zombies with a certain practical and real scientific touch, in Cooties you will find a very consistent evolution of the virus.
I want to emphasize that just as I rescue the rationale for becoming a zombie, I do not rescue other elements of these creatures in the film because they are unstable, inconsistent and in my case it does affect me because I like those conditions are respected even if this is a comic film.
Its base wants to develop in what could be a real world, there are its unreal moments between characters, yes and in fact there are several that I do not like at all and could have been improved to be more digestible to the viewer because they are strange situations and already, I still do not explain why they happen but there they are.
The film suffers in the first act as any zombie film because the start requires real conditions or scenarios that if not worked well, can bore and although in this case it is not so, the situations are uncomfortable, are strange, are not funny making it deserves 6 out of 10.
These elements fall on Rainn Wilson as Wade Jhonson where added to the above, his argument is not very consistent and Cooties suffers because it gives too much weight to this character, in the end I like him but his beginning is detestable, one thing is that the character is like that and another is that he takes me out of the movie because of how lousy he is, otherwise Cooties is enjoyable because it gives me something I had never seen which is a nice childish zombie adventure.
Doy comienzo a la zona de spoilers para mencionar esa explicación científica al conflicto zombi.
El personaje llamado Doug que en el aspecto cómico me convence totalmente, de lo mas gracioso en el film porque pareciera no tener sentimientos, no puede relacionarse satisfactoriamente socialmente y esto hace sea retraído pero con una muy buena cualidad, es inteligente, analítico y práctico, tiene perfil de ingeniero por tanto su raciocinio para explicar la evolución del virus es a mi pensar lo mejor del film.
El toma un cadáver de los niños y le arranca el cerebro para analizarlo lo cual tiene mucha lógica el hacerlo, algo pasa físicamente en los niños, luego de estudiar el cerebro llega a la conclusión de que se pudre la parte racional por decirlo así, quedando fresca y funcional lo primitiva, hasta este momento su análisis es muy estable, de hecho explica muchas películas zombis solo con esto que es el clásico actuar primitivo hasta que nombra la parte de las hormonas.
Resulta que varios son lastimados, una niña y Clint pero no sufren el cambio, no se vuelven zombis, es en este momento donde con su personalidad fría y directa por su problema de relación social con otras personas, le pregunta de manera cruda a la niña si tiene la menstruación, ella responde que sí por tanto y en base a que Clint tampoco se volvió un zombi, concluye que el virus solo sobrevive y afecta totalmente a personas que no han alcanzado la pubertad o un desarrollo hormonal camino a la adultez.
Esto lo tomo con pinza y me lo quedo gratamente del film porque me convence, la explicación ante un virus imaginario me parece solida, racional, de verdad quede muy contento con esto y por la forma en que lo hizo acorde a su personalidad que también se engrana con el tono cómico del film, esto si que estuvo bien escrito, a mi me convenció toda la lógica que aplico.
I start the spoiler zone to mention that scientific explanation to the zombie conflict.
The character named Doug who in the comic aspect totally convinces me, one of the funniest in the film because he seems to have no feelings, he can not relate satisfactorily socially and this makes him withdrawn but with a very good quality, he is intelligent, analytical and practical, he has an engineer profile so his reasoning to explain the evolution of the virus is to my mind the best of the film.
He takes a corpse of the children and rips out the brain to analyze it which is very logical to do so, something happens physically in children, after studying the brain he comes to the conclusion that the rational part rots, so to speak, leaving the primitive fresh and functional, until this moment his analysis is very stable, in fact he explains many zombie movies only with this which is the classic primitive acting until he names the part of the hormones.
It turns out that several are hurt, a girl and Clint but they do not suffer the change, they do not become zombies, it is at this moment where with his cold and direct personality because of his problem of social relationship with other people, he asks the girl in a crude way if she has menstruation, she answers yes therefore and based on the fact that Clint did not become a zombie either, he concludes that the virus only survives and totally affects people who have not reached puberty or a hormonal development on the way to adulthood.
I take this with a pincer and I keep it pleasantly from the film because it convinces me, the explanation to an imaginary virus seems solid, rational, I was really very happy with this and the way he did it according to his personality that also meshes with the comic tone of the film, this if it was well written, I was convinced by all the logic he applied.
Detalle a criticar es que tienes muy buena explicación al desarrollo zombi pero que la pregunta de como son tan inteligentes, hay un niño zombi que se coloca su bolso para ir donde su madre y luego la ataca, esto esta premeditado y no me parece correcto porque son zombis, su parte racional no funciona basado en la explicación anterior, solo queda lo primitivo y el destruir celulares, líneas de comunicación, pedalear una bicicleta ya es demasiado y es una lastima porque la película me da una buena explicación pero no respeta sus condición primordial que es al cerebro infantil se le daña su parte racional o no.
El aspecto triangulo amoroso entre Clint, Lucy y Wade me parece bien manejado en el primer y segundo acto pero cae a un abismo en el tercero porque Wade cumplió, el se sacrifico, yo lo veo en la historia y queda perfecto que el se redima por su amor Lucy en una condición de apocalipsis zombi, la escena es ridícula con ellos matando niños pero es gracioso, el film es gracioso, no busco mas pero ya cuando vuelve de la nada Wade, me saco de la película totalmente.
La química entre Clint y Lucy esta preciosa, se desarrollo muy bien cuando van por los ductos juntos y Lucy le corresponde porque se nota ya ella no ama a Wade desde hace mucho y así Wade cambie en su forma de ser, ya ella no le ama, no quiere estar con él, no hay ningún gesto por parte de ella para respetarle como hombre, no hay culpabilidad ni cargo de conciencia cuando besa a Clint entonces el guion falla y hace las cosas de manera forzada y todo para que Wade luzca como héroe cuando es el personaje que menos interesa.
Mi favorito es Doug y quería verle con Rebekkah interpretada por Nasim Pedrad porque ella ve a los hombres como acosadores y Doug no se sabe relacionar y la manda a callar muchas veces e increíblemente ella se deja, esto es muy gracioso, ellos dos hay química y la actriz tiene rasgos árabes, eso me gusta y me pareció una parejita agradable en sus momentos de interacción

The love triangle aspect between Clint, Lucy and Wade seems to me well handled in the first and second act but falls to an abyss in the third because Wade fulfilled, he sacrificed himself, I see it in the story and it is perfect that he redeems himself for his love Lucy in a zombie apocalypse condition, the scene is ridiculous with them killing children but it is funny, the film is funny, I do not look for more but when Wade comes back from nowhere, it took me out of the movie completely.
The chemistry between Clint and Lucy is beautiful, it develops very well when they go through the ducts together and Lucy reciprocates because you can tell she doesn't love Wade anymore and even if Wade changes his ways, she doesn't love him anymore, she doesn't want to be with him, there is no gesture from her to respect him as a man, there is no guilt or conscience when she kisses Clint so the script fails and does things in a forced way and all to make Wade look like a hero when he is the least interesting character.
My favorite is Doug and I wanted to see him with Rebekkah played by Nasim Pedrad because she sees men as stalkers and Doug doesn't know how to relate and shushes her many times and incredibly she lets him, this is very funny, the two of them have chemistry and the actress has Arab features, I like that and I found them a nice couple in their moments of interaction.

Shiii m beba bella, me agradan este tipo de películas, quedo feliz si el tque comedia es bueno y acá lo fue, de hecho en la casa donde la vi por el cumpleaños de un pana, ya era de madrugada y mis carcajadas levantaron a su esposa 😅, que pena al otro día con ella porque no la deje dormir plenamente PERO valió la pena porque la peliculita si que estuvo buena
Esta es una pelicula que se ve que ves una sola vez y mas nunca lo vuelves a hacer jaja.

Debo volver a ver esta película, hace tiempo hice una reseña, pero no recuerdo bien; tal vez eso sea un síntoma de la edad, que se yo; ahora, si le puedo decir que tenía muchas expectativas porque todo ese asunto de niños zombies me llamó mucho la atención y me gustaría darle una opinión concreta, pero como la Vi hace tanto tiempo, tengo varios recuerdos y creo que el final tal vez no fue de todo mi agrado.
Si quiere ver otro bien film se zombies, muy unido a lo que es la combinación entre el horror y comedia, le recomiendo ver "Little Monsters", película estrenada en 2019.
El muchachon nameless y por acá mi memoria esta muy bien, recuerdo películas como si las fuera visto ayer y la sensación bonita que dejaron, eso pasa por los shot de tequila 🤣
A mi también, apenas vi niños zombis PLAAAAY porque eso nunca lo veo y debería ser normal que los hubiera, ok el final si que esta bueno ahí jaja pero como queman a los niños eso si me agrado 🤣

Ok aqui voy, esta pelicula a mi parecer esta muy graciosa jajajaja recuerdo que cuando la vi con mi mama, no podiamos parar de reir con la forma en que el muchahcon trabata de decir "double gueda" y, la repeti varias veces esa parte, fue mi favorita jajaja
Por el lado de los zombis, tiene su toque comico pero vaya que esos niños eran sanguinarios y todo por un pollo contaminado, admito que esa escena que se lo come me dio asquito jajajaja
Tambien me hizo reir la escena del muchachon que se la paso en la camioneta, estaba tan ido con lo que fumaba que una jirafa le hablaba, tantas incoherencias que me hicieron reir jajajaja
Hacer una comedia es muy dificil pero añadirle algo de terror es ams dificl aun asi que a mi gusto, la pelicula me gusto y la disfrute jeje "dobl ruda" jjjajaajajaj
