(ENG/SPA) Get to Know Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, Classic Review

My favorite characters are General Thade for all the evil that characterizes him, his demonic face, the feelings he shows when he is in front of his father who to my great surprise is played by the legendary Charlton Heston, this of the best in the film as an interpretation at the point of revelation and conflict in the story.

I have already praised too much the work of Tim Roth but there is another character that I fell in love with, if her job in the film was just to look beautiful to charm the male viewer, well with me she did it and I take the opportunity to name her.

Estella Warren is who plays Daena, a human slave who honestly does not do much in the story but her beauty hypnotizes, a casting that I consider only seeks to attract the public for her beauty and she succeeds, I remember her whenever I see this movie haha, I thought that with the new viewing that I gave to the film I would see more purpose but the truth is that she is not, she is just cute and I am happy with just that haha.

Just the above I want to connect it with the weakness and criticism I make to this film, the key moments of its narrative are extremely weak, the film moves forward because it has to move forward but it remains too simple.

His protagonist Mark Whalberg as Astronaut Leo Davidson lacks a lot of life, he fulfills the character but lacks more soul, there is a classic part of this franchise where humans are treated contemptuously seeing if they have Soul, the truth this protagonist does not have much soul haha, this makes the character does not have much connection at least with me and of course what he is developing storyline manages to reach me but it is thanks to General Thade.

Mis personajes favoritos son El General Thade por toda la maldad que le caracteriza, su rostro endemoniado, los sentimientos que muestra cuando esta frente a su padre que para mi gran sorpresa lo interpreta el legendario Charlton Heston, esto de lo mejor en el film como interpretación en el punto de revelación y conflicto en la historia.

He alabado ya demasiado el trabajo de Tim Roth pero hay otro personaje que a mi me enamoro, si su trabajo en el film era solo lucir preciosa para encantar a ese espectador masculino, pues conmigo lo logro y aprovecho de nombrarla.

Estella Warren es quien interpreta a Daena, una esclava humana que sinceramente no hace mucho en la historia pero su belleza hipnotiza, un casting que considero busca solo atraer al público por su belleza y lo logra, yo la recuerdo siempre que veo esta película jaja, pensé que con el nuevo visionado que le di a la película le vería mas propósito pero la verdad no lo tiene, solo es linda y yo soy feliz con solo eso jaja.

Justo lo anterior lo quiero conectar con la debilidad y critica que hago a esta película, los momentos claves de su narrativa son extremadamente débiles, la película avanza porque tiene que avanzar pero se mantiene demasiado sencilla.

Su protagonista Mark Whalberg como El Astronauta Leo Davidson le falta mucha vida, cumple con el personaje pero le falta mas alma, hay una parte clásica de esta franquicia donde se trata despectivamente a los humanos viendo si tienen Alma, la verdad este protagonista no tiene mucha alma jaja, esto hace que el personaje no tenga mucha conexión al menos conmigo y claro lo que el va desarrollando de historia logra llegar a mi pero es gracias al General Thade.
