(ENG/SPA) Tomb Raider The Cradle of Life
Tomb Raider The Cradle of Life es un film con toques antiguos que tuvo la oportunidad de haber impactado, trata de envolver a ese espectador con los cimientos de hechos históricos adornados con lo ancestral, esas historias del pasado que aun hoy cautivan y las mezcla con el elemento ciencia, transmitiendo así una trama moderna palpable a nosotros para dar su enfoque sobre ese lugar que vio nacer a la humanidad.
La trama antigua es lo que mas adoro de este personaje en la película, como quisiera con todo mi ser solo verla a ella explorando toda una historia sobre objetos milenarios y ancestrales quedándose en un solo lugar dos actos enteros de la película, esto se muestra poco en el film, hay explicaciones que me gustan pero se pasan de ellas para ir a lo comercial, a lo mundano que son las balas.
Sí es verdad que el personaje tiene una capa de acción, de hecho pueden ver en la miniatura el look y esa estética de guerrera moderna en Lara Croft lo cual está muy acertado en el film pero se pasa de ese núcleo antiguo muy rápido, no me da chance de disfrutarlo porque ya se tiene que entrar en conflictos humanos que en mi caso me sacan de la película.
Tomb Raider The Cradle of Life is a film with ancient touches that had the opportunity to have an impact, it tries to wrap that viewer with the foundations of historical facts adorned with the ancestral, those stories of the past that even today captivate and mixes them with the science element, thus transmitting a modern plot palpable to us to give its focus on that place that saw the birth of humanity.
The ancient plot is what I love most about this character in the film, as I would like with all my being just to see her exploring a whole story about millenary and ancestral objects staying in one place two whole acts of the film, this is shown little in the film, there are explanations that I like but they go beyond them to go to the commercial, to the mundane that are the bullets.
Yes it is true that the character has a layer of action, in fact you can see in the miniature the look and aesthetics of modern warrior in Lara Croft which is very successful in the film but it goes from that old core very fast, it does not give me a chance to enjoy it because it already has to enter into human conflicts that in my case take me out of the film.
Angelina Jolie es cien porciento video juego accurate con el personaje de Lara Croft, su sensualidad, inteligencia, habilidades de gimnasta, coleta que es para enamorarse más las travesuras del personaje se desarrollan muy bien, no tengo quejas en este aspecto pero es la trama la que juega en contra y no la explota al máximo como personaje femenino de poder que puede ser porque no es solo el físico, también su conocimiento nato arqueológico que esta presente pero se pasa de ello como si el guion quisiera huir de esto porque pudiera aburrir al espectador.
El núcleo verdadero de Lara Croft no es la acción, es la Arqueología, todo ese conocimiento milenario sobre objetos que desenvuelven chaos a través del saber, lo cual ella puede estudiar con mayor facilidad por el factor dinero que posee.
En esta historia se plantean objetos, uno que considero secundario desarrollado bien y se come mucha trama de la película la búsqueda de este artefacto porque si se habla de él o al menos le dedican una escena completa y ya luego al olvido en el aspecto arqueológico, el otro objeto del que no se nada dentro de la película, yo conozco la historia del objeto pero dame tu versión porque no la percibí, no la vi y se supone es el clímax del film.
Me entristece que se tengan que colocar conflictos humanos armados porque sí, lamentablemente se que es lo fácil, lo que gusta comercialmente a la mayoría de espectadores pero como quisiera que Lara me diera toda la historia de los objetos por los que con tanta vehemencia da casi que su vida por encontrarlos, se vuelven su misión y casi no los conozco, están por rellenar, en mi caso valoro lo histórico y solo veo grupos armados que no llaman para nada mi atención.
Angelina Jolie is one hundred percent video game accurate with the character of Lara Croft, her sensuality, intelligence, gymnast skills, pigtail that is to fall in love plus the antics of the character are developed very well, I have no complaints in this aspect but it is the plot that plays against and does not exploit it to the fullest as a female character of power that can be because it is not only the physical, also her natural archaeological knowledge that is present but it is passed from it as if the script wanted to flee from this because it could bore the viewer.
The real core of Lara Croft is not the action, it is the archeology, all that millenary knowledge about objects that unravel chaos through knowledge, which she can study more easily because of the money factor she has.
In this story objects are raised, one that I consider secondary developed well and eats much plot of the film the search for this artifact because if you talk about it or at least devote a full scene and then to oblivion in the archaeological aspect, the other object of which I know nothing in the film, I know the history of the object but give me your version because I did not perceive it, I did not see it and it is supposed to be the climax of the film.
It saddens me that armed human conflicts have to be placed just because, unfortunately I know that it is easy, what most viewers like commercially but as I would like Lara to give me the whole story of the objects for which she so vehemently gives almost her life to find them, they become her mission and I hardly know them, they are to be filled, in my case I value the historical and I only see armed groups that do not call my attention at all.
Un titulo tan potente, la cuna de la vida, desde hace años escucho esto, es una de las obsesiones de la humanidad, conocer de donde venimos y pasa tan desapercibido en el film, es un nombre comercial y solo se queda ahí, no veo el desarrollo, casi que suplico porque adoro este personaje de cuando lo jugaba y si algo hacía ella era presentarme, darme a conocer el trasfondo completo de los objetos milenarios ya sean bendito o malditos.
Un aspecto comercial que también hace decaer mi experiencia es el romance, si tienes a Jolie, como no aprovecharla en ese aspecto pero no puede llevarse tanto de la historia este elemento, salvo una escena y a Jolie que es potente gestualmente, las emociones que maneja pero falta una historia que le de solidez a ese amor, por parte de ella hay química, Angelina tiene química con lo que sea que le coloquen al frente porque transmite mucho pero el factor amor termino pensando que esta demás.
The Cradle of Life es un film que me atrae, tiene destellos del personaje pero se pierde porque quiere huir de su esencia por temor al fracaso comercial, hizo falta un director e inversionistas mas arriesgados con la historia que no se fueran por lo fácil, con Lara Croft lo importante es la historia de los artefactos por los que ella con obsesión de aventura lucha por encontrar y se cae mucho esto en el film.
No puedo evitar juzgarla desde un punto de vista comercial y la película cumple con entretener, merecido 6 chiquitos de 10 porque tienes escenas buenas, se ve un esfuerzo por lograr un producto fiel al personaje que se logra en Angelina pero esta historia clama para que Lara se quede en un solo lugar contemplando lo milenario.

A commercial aspect that also makes my experience decline is the romance, if you have Jolie, how not to take advantage of it in that aspect but can not take so much of the story this element, except for a scene and Jolie who is powerful gesturally, the emotions she handles but lacks a story that gives solidity to that love, on her part there is chemistry, Angelina has chemistry with whatever they put in front of her because she transmits a lot but the love factor I end up thinking that it is too much.
The Cradle of Life is a film that attracts me, it has flashes of the character but it gets lost because it wants to run away from its essence for fear of commercial failure, it needed a director and investors more risky with the story that did not go for the easy, with Lara Croft the important thing is the story of the artifacts for which she with obsession of adventure struggles to find and this falls a lot in the film.
I can't help but judge it from a commercial point of view and the movie is entertaining, it deserves 6 out of 10 because it has good scenes, there is an effort to achieve a product faithful to the character that is achieved in Angelina but this story cries out for Lara to stay in one place contemplating the millennial.
Inicia la Zona con Spoilers de esta buena aventura que si he disfrutado pero me genera un poco de frustración el hecho de que no se aprovecho más.
Lo mejor del film es la parte Arqueología, cuando van al Templo de la Luna el cual es un sitio donde Alejandro Magno guardo sus mayores tesoros y uno de ellos conduce a la perdición, a la caja de Pandora, lamentablemente esto es lo que se desperdicia, por favor director y guionistas pueden dejar a Lara Croft en un solo lugar, que explore el templo, que nos enseñe distintos tesoros que va encontrando y mas allá de los artefactos, esas esculturas, estructura arquitectónica de estos lugares antiguos.
Disfruto enormemente la explicación del objeto y el luego buscar en google para verificar la parte real de lo que me cuentan o ese mito pero me deja con ganas de mas antigüedad, mas aventura arqueológica, dura 5 minutos y se va del lugar para golpear un tiburón porque claro la acción vende. No lo veo mal que lo hagan pero quítame de encima ese romance forzado y borra de mi vista esos villanos mafiosos patéticos que me durmieron durante el film.
A pesar de todo valoro la aventura, siempre esta la balanza y verla hacer paracaídas, ir en la moto, a su mansión, ese tipo de detalles son bonitos y los valoro porque son cosas del juego, yo los vi pero déjame disfrutar de Lara Croft en un solo lugar explorando, leyendo escrituras antiguas, ella de adolescente sabe leer muchos idiomas antiguos, es nato, natural en ella desenvolverse y sobrevivir en ese tipo de lugares, no me dejan disfrutar la exploración y quedo a medias porque se presenta y rápidamente se sale de cámara.
El villano se desenvuelve bien, de hecho lo que plantea el film esta adelantado a su época porque lo vivimos y fue la Pandemia, el quiere usar la caja de Pandora para controlar un virus mortal que contiene y volverse aun mas millonario de lo que ya es, villano común que tiene todo el dinero del mundo y quiere más, ok cumple pero no se mas de la caja de Pandora, hasta ahí llega la arqueología.
La película suplica flashbacks bien elaborados del elemento antiguo, dame a las personas que construyeron la esfera mapa que conduce a la cuna de la vida, así sucede en los juegos y eso como enriquece el film, una escena de 5 minutos bien hecha, no realizada a las prisas donde se disfrute de la historia del lugar a explorar y sus artefactos relevantes para el film.
Al final se llega a África y esta la caja de Pandora flotando en un agua ácida solo porque sí, no hay necesidad de estas cosas, precisamente explicarlas y adornarlas es lo bonito de Tomb Raider y se pierde totalmente, Lara lucha con el villano en una pelea que Lara debe ganar por el entrenamiento que tiene y un villano físicamente patético que nunca en su vida ha entrenado le golpea, recursos argumentales que me sacan un poco de la película.
La film es disfrutable, solo que esperaba mucho de ella ya que disfrute la primera enormemente pero ambas sufren el cambiar de lugares drásticamente y no dejan a Lara hacer el trabajo para el cual nació, La Aventura.
Gracias por leer mi Reseña en la que es notable mi frustración por este personaje que amo de los video juego pero hago énfasis en que es un producto comercial disfrutable que puede motivar a niños para conocer la arqueología e historia, esto es muy rescatable más el hecho de ser un producto entretenido.

I greatly enjoy the explanation of the object and then googling to verify the real part of what they tell me or that myth but it leaves me wanting more antiquity, more archaeological adventure, it lasts 5 minutes and leaves the place to hit a shark because of course the action sells. I don't see it as a bad thing but get rid of that forced romance and erase from my sight those pathetic mafia villains that put me to sleep during the film.
Despite everything I value the adventure, there is always the balance and see her parachute, go on the motorcycle, to his mansion, those kind of details are nice and I value them because they are things of the game, I saw them but let me enjoy Lara Croft in one place exploring, reading ancient writings, she as a teenager can read many ancient languages, it is natural, natural in her to develop and survive in such places, do not let me enjoy the exploration and I am halfway because it is presented and quickly goes off camera.
The villain is well developed, in fact what raises the film is ahead of its time because we live and was the Pandemic, he wants to use Pandora's box to control a deadly virus that contains and become even more millionaire than it already is, common villain who has all the money in the world and wants more, ok meets but do not know more of Pandora's box, that's as far as archeology.
The film begs for well crafted flashbacks of the ancient element, give me the people who built the map sphere that leads to the cradle of life, so it happens in the games and that as it enriches the film, a well done 5 minute scene, not done in a hurry where you enjoy the history of the place to explore and its artifacts relevant to the film.
At the end you get to Africa and there is Pandora's box floating in an acidic water just because, there is no need for these things, precisely explaining and embellishing them is the beauty of Tomb Raider and it is totally lost, Lara fights with the villain in a fight that Lara must win because of the training she has and a physically pathetic villain who has never trained in his life beats her, plot resources that take me a little out of the film.
The film is enjoyable, I just expected a lot from it since I enjoyed the first one enormously but both suffer from changing locations drastically and do not let Lara do the job for which she was born, The Adventure.
Thank you for reading my review in which my frustration for this character that I love from the video games is noticeable but I emphasize that it is an enjoyable commercial product that can motivate children to learn about archeology and history, this is very rescuable plus the fact of being an entertaining product.

Muchachón, he visto todas, y me encantan. Todo en general me gusta pero sobre todo la mezcla de los misterios, la antigüedad, la arqueología y lo oculto.
Las vi hace mucho estas series de películas, seguro que con mi conocimiento de hoy las vería con otros ojos.... tienen mensajes.

Si, la parte antigua es o mejor pero no se quedan mucho ahí, no se que pasa, se van a la ciudad rapidamente o balas por todos lados. av esta también, si no hablan de nada casi, mas bien quisiera se quedaran un rato hablando de los artefactos, en la primera hablan de illuminati pero es demasiado vago e insipido y en esta menos, me agrada la caja de pandora pero es que no dicen nada, sufro enormemente en este aspecto 😅
Tal vez no podían decir más jajaja muchas películas dan a entender, o no hablan pero los símbolos lo dicen todo... atención!
Bueno en la primera recuerdo un ojo con una piramide, el tópico era iluminatis pero en esta no vi nada así, estaba el templo e la luna y la esfera pero mas nada hacía, lo que si me agrado fue lo de la caja de Pandora, av es pandora 🤣

No he visto todas las películas de Lara croft pero las que sí he visto me gustaron muchísimo sobre todo por la acción el cgi ay que de verdad es una maravilla y te entretiene muchísimo y la enorme personalidad de la actriz 😎🤣

Angelina did a great job with that character, she fit very well with her figure, her sensuality. For the time she was ideal for the movie adaptation of the video game. Now, the movies were never to my total liking, she and the character were, but the plot of the movies was terrible. The other adaptation they did with another actress, although she was not as sensual as Angelina, I think she also did a good job and I liked the story better.

I didnt see yet the news tomb raider movies, i see the actress and i like her, of course Angelina have too much sensuality but i want more of the storie, the artefacts, the ancient, flashbacks with those millenial people

Siempre he tenido mucha curiosidad de verla, de lejos me parece una adaptación decente (algo destacable si consideramos que cuando se realizó el videojuego no era un medio tan respetado como hoy en día).

Hellooo Muchachon and good friend aurzeq good games, you played the Playstation 1? i lay that only that games, the movies are entertaining and Angelina Jolie is the Best of the Movie, she is Lara Croft 100% but the story is not best of the movies, the arqueologic part is not at its maximum point, they go to citys too quickly and we dont have time to explore temple, you like arqueology?

Helllou, sorry for the late response. I haven't played with the game for the Play 1 actually but a more recent version for the PC (Shadow of the Tomb Raider)...
but yeah I have always been fascinated by archeology and movies like Indian Jones and also the Uncharted games (if you haven't tried the games, please do so, the movie isn't even comparable to the games, it's not good at all)
I have also done some speleology for a few years just for the sake of exploration

Si, Angelina es video juego accurate con el personaje, parece que fuera salido de la pantalla del televisor y en 3d vida real es Angelina Jolie Lara Croft, falto las historias porque si quieren sea como en los juego pero falto profundizar mas en la parte arqueológica, como fuera querido eso, la primera tiene mas pero la segunda se queda mucho, igual ambas entretenidas

Ni siquiera me acordaba de esta película JAJAJAJAJAJ. La ví hace un montón de años en televisión y en esa época ni sabía que estaba basada en un juego, y honestamente, siento que ha envejecido algo mal jajajajaja
El muchachon, es que ya han pasado decadas y eso también indica que Angelina tiene sus años encima, preciosa su estructura física pero ya son dos décadas de estrenada la película. ah caray la pasaron por televisión, nunca la pude ver por ahí, en rctv o venevisión, muy probablemente ya estaba en la universidad cuando este film llego a esos canales
Ok la dos si que esta muy grave en el aspecto trama pero la primera vaya que me sigue agradando y la puedo seguir viendo, esa en mi caso ha mejorado, ahora esta segunda película no, la vi y no me anima volverla a ver excepto el inicio donde sale Lara con su traje gris, eso si que es una pasada 😍
