CineTv Contest: THE ADAM PROJECT (2022)

A Lot of times I have actually wonder what it will feel like to be lost in Time like you wake up after 500 years and you're still the same age and young as at when you enter I have watched a lot of movies about people entering this time space there's one can't remember the name but this little guy 15 years then entered the Time space leaving his friends behind because they weren't privilege to enter and by the time he came back still looking the way he was he met his old friends some as great grand parents with great accomplishment some had died one even had a grandson now his current age I won't know if he regretted his actions but that made me understand that time waits for no one and you didn't stop time you actually stopped yourself and again watching most of this time movies made me imagined a lot of wild thoughts like what if the experiment went wrong what if this what if that and this movie actually answered some of my what if(s) like imagine waking up one day to see your younger self staring at you ….. what will be your reaction what would you love to correct and that's one thing I love so much about this movie it delivers more than just a high energy adventure but the relationships that defines us and the opportunity to rewrite our own future one moment at a time

THE PLOT

The story began in the year 2050 haha where Adam Reed who was a skilled fighter pilot was on a high stakes mission to retrieve a powerful piece of technology to prevent a catastrophic future caused by the misuse of the time travel technology his mission was to travel back in Time to 2022 but then something went wrong After a dangerous encounter with some enemy forces Adam got severely injured which forced him to make an emergency landing in a field near his childhood home when he crashed he ends up in the year 2022 but not in the way he actually expected not just that his landing was rough and bad he was confronted by his 12 years old self

Young Adam was first shocked and confused by the sudden appearance of a man who looks exactly like him but much older while the older Adam although at first was disoriented but he understood what had actually happened and decided to re strategizes his plans he quickly made his younger self the key to accomplishing the mission he came for with no other choice the two Adams formed an unlikely partnership a team up to outwit and defeat the dangerous forces who were trying to seize the time travel technology for their own purposes

The dynamic between the younger and young older Adam was the central of the movie While young Adam was struggling with the trauma of losing his father Louis Reed a brilliant scientist and creator of the Time travel technology who was mysteriously killed when Adam was still a child the loss had affected him so deeply that he had issues trusting others The older Adam on the other hand had lived through the years with the same grief of losing his father and was still dealing with the pain also had the same issues of trusting people including his younger self however after the two Adams face off against the dangerous forces of the future who are attempting to manipulate time travel for their own gain they quickly formed an unlikely alliance to find a way to repair the time machine escape their pursuers and stop the evil corporation that has seized control of the technology

As the two Adams journey through time they uncovered deep secrets about their father's past and his noble intentions of creating the time travel system however when the technology was abused by powerful figures he had to hide his work and ultimately retreat from the world the younger Adam who had once resented his father for leaving him and his mother behind began to understand the true complexities of Louis’ choice and through that their relationship began to heal

Now there is Maya Sorian a powerful and manipulative business woman from the future who seeks to access the time travel and rewrite history for her own benefit she used her immense wealth and influence to create dystopian future where she controls the technology and holds the fate of humanity in her hands As the two Adams fight to stop her they confronted not just the force that threatened the fabric of time but also their personal issues and unresolved emotions about their family
While Adam and his younger self battle their way through intense action sequence and navigating the chaos of time travel Adult Adam came to terms with the guilt and grief from his father's passing while the 12 years old Adam had to accept the loss of his father and the absence of his idealized version of him The both had to help each other face their personal struggles and learn to heal together despite the fractures in their past
The both where able to confront Maya and prevent the dark future she had planned

After everything The older Adam recognizing the importance of family choose to reconnect with his loved ones while the younger and vibrant Adam having been given a second chance to shape his future begins to find hope and inspiration in the life ahead of him

MY REVIEW ON THE MOVIE

One thing I love about this particular time travel movie is that it didn't just show the fiction unrealistic part of a time travel but the powerful realization that the key to a better future lies not in controlling time but in accepting the present reconciling with the past and cherishing the relationship that define who we are the movie brought to light the importance of family the emotional journey of coming to terms with the past learning to forgive and understanding that sometimes to move forward you need to reconcile with who you were and who you have become
The movie explores the bittersweet nature of time the desire to change the past and fix what was broken but realizing that the key to a better future lies in accepting the present with a beautiful hope for the future
