Greetings, friends of Cinetv. When I saw the title, the photo of the children caught my curiosity to know the reason for the film's name. I wasn't expecting the story behind it. The film tells the story of children from a military school who are returning home by plane for the holidays. The plane crashes near a deserted island. The children must organize themselves to survive on their own and learn to face the difficulties they face, especially living together. What starts well becomes complicated when the desire for power, fear, and self-interest emerge... within a few days, they descended into savagery and brutality, eliminating one another. Could it be that human beings are savage and violent by nature, and the only thing that keeps us from killing each other are the laws, or are we more than that in this story?

Saludos amigos de Cinetv. Cuando vi el título, la foto de los niños me llamó la curiosidad de saber el porqué del nombre de la película. No me esperaba la historia que había detrás. La película cuenta la historia de unos niños procedentes de una escuela militar que vuelven en avión a sus casas con motivo de las vacaciones. El avión sufre un accidente cerca de una isla desierta. Los pequeños tendrán que organizarse para sobrevivir solos y aprender a afrontar las dificultades que se les presentan, en especial la convivencia misma. Lo que al principio empieza bien, se complica cuando surgen los deseos de poder, el miedo, los intereses particulares... en pocos días descendieron al salvajismo y la brutalidad eliminándose unos a otros ¿Será que el ser humano es salvaje y violento por naturaleza y lo único que nos permite no matarnos unos a otros son las leyes o somos más que eso está historia?

The book is called Lord of the Flies because of the boar's head that the children hunt for food. This name refers to a demon associated with putrefaction and corruption. You can't fully understand Lord of the Flies without knowing a little about its author, William Golding. His life and experiences were fundamental to the story he wrote because he not only imagined what happens in the novel, he lived it; he saw it with his own eyes in World War II. He spent 5 years in combat and witnessed firsthand what human beings are capable of when civilization breaks down. He saw educated men with a structured life who became murderers. We may not be able to eradicate violence from our nature, but we can recognize it. That awareness is what differentiates us from pure barbarism; we can confront it. No se puede entender del todo el señor de las moscas sin conocer un poco sobre su autor William Golding Su vida y experiencias fueron fundamentales para la historia que escribió porque él no solo imaginó lo que ocurre en la novela lo vivió lo vio con sus propios ojos en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, paso 5 años en combate fue testigo directo de lo que el ser humano es capaz de hacer cuando la civilización se quiebra, vio hombres con estudio y una vida estructurada que se convirtieron en asesinos. Tal vez no podamos erradicar la violencia de nuestra naturaleza, pero sí podemos reconocerla.
