"And shot me in the wrist"
And shot me in the wrist. He ran into the room. Where his mother was and ...
Today is my birthday! I wanted to celebrate talking about this:
That is what the screen was reading while I was trying to get this cool short film of my silhouette in the Tate Modern in London, during one of their exhibitions.
It was the perfect black-and-white contrast and such a big screen that I could walk in front from one side to the other.
I can't offer more details on what the exhibition was about as I don't remember and I don't have the full message either, unfortunately. This was a personal pure filming test. And I honestly liked the result.
Today, I went to see another exhibition here in Valencia, Spain. In the CCC cultural center, I got the opportunity to try another time the same style of movie. This time wasn't black and white but obviously, you still get the silhouette if you stay in front of the projector. So the difference here is that in the one before someone was filming me as it was a black-and-white contrast, while in these two I was filming with my phone (trying to hide it) as the silhouette here was created me blocking the light from the projector.
What I like about these two is that there is a dynamic image happening behind my silhouette.
The one on the left is a car driving in a tunnel and on the right hand, there is a woman cycling on a bicycle.
I like them when I put them both together.
For the last one... I filmed my friend, who is a dancer, dancing in front of another movie where we can clearly see a guy playing the guitar.
I posted these videos on my Instagram account adding some music to them and this one personally I love it. It is so creative and so emotional. I mixed the art of documenting, dancing, and playing music in one shot.
I hope you guys liked it. If so please let me know down below in the comments.
