WandaVision Spinoff Show Gets a New Name. Again.
WandaVision was by far the best Disney+ show. So obviously Disney and Marvel aren't going to let it go. However, instead of giving us the much desired second season of the show we are getting a spinoff which will focus on Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness.
The plot of the show is still unclear expect for the fact that it will start with Harkness snapping out of Wanda's spell. There are also rumors that the show will incorporate elements from the "The Children's Crusade" comics, which sounds cool in theory until you realize that Elizabeth Olsen is not in this show, which automatically turns it into a disappointment.
Strangely enough, Marvel can't decide what to call this show. It started as Agatha: House of Harkness which gave us some serious "House of M" vibes which will surely lead to disappointment, so it was changed. The second name that was picked was Agatha: Coven of Chaos which obviously refers to the chaos magic that Wanda wilds, but there is no Wanda in this show. So now we have a new name Agatha: Darkhold Dairies which is odd because the Darkhold was destroyed in Multiverse of Madness. Maybe that's why there is a rumor that the show will get a forth name: Agatha All Along. Yes, like that brilliant song from WandaVision. I think that this name would be a perfect choice. It is a fun and witchy name.
Even though there is no Wanda in this show, I still have really high expectations from it.
The show is set to release it late 2024, with the internet guessing around September of this year.
