This Family Is Crazy! || The Perfect Family Movie Review [ENG-ESP]

Yesterday I had a movie night with my family and we decided to watch a movie on Netflix called The Perfect Family. I want to share my review of this movie with you all because I found it both interesting and unique.
Pablo, the son of a rich family decides to marry his girlfriend who not from the best neighborhood. Her family is completely different from Pablo’s, and Pablo’s mom, Lucia, is put off by them. The movie then follows the changes and events that happen in Lucia’s life all by meeting her In-Laws to be.

Ayer tuve una noche de cine con mi familia y decidimos ver una película en Netflix llamada La familia perfecta. Quiero compartir mi reseña de esta película con todos ustedes porque la encontré interesante y única.
Pablo, el hijo de una familia adinerada decide casarse con su novia que no es del mejor barrio. Su familia es completamente diferente a la de Pablo, y la mamá de Pablo, Lucía, se desanima por ellos. Luego, la película sigue los cambios y eventos que suceden en la vida de Lucía, todo al conocer a sus suegros.
The movie is Spanish but was dubbed in English, and it is the first movie I’ve ever scene depicting present-day Spain.
The dubbing was wonderful and I could really hear the emotion put behind each voice. I also believe the voices matched the characters well. The music stayed in Spanish, and if a character was singing it would be in the original language, and it was fun to hear the original Spanish actors every once in a while.
The settings were also so beautiful. The colorful homes of Madrid were elegant and the neighborhood and city street depictions were very beautiful and really set the tone for whatever was happening. The descriptions of weather were also nice, and made me really imagine what it would be like walking through these parts of Spain.
The outfits Lucia wore were just stylish to me. I especially loved one all pink suit she wore complete with a vivid pink overcoat and pink accessories. Tied along with the other outfits she wore, I got the feeling this woman really liked pink!
La película es española pero fue doblada al inglés, y es la primera película en la que he rodado una escena que representa la España actual.
El doblaje fue maravilloso y realmente pude escuchar la emoción detrás de cada voz. También creo que las voces coincidían bien con los personajes. La música se quedaba en español, y si un personaje cantaba, sería en el idioma original, y era divertido escuchar a los actores españoles originales de vez en cuando.
Los escenarios también eran tan hermosos. Las coloridas casas de Madrid eran elegantes y las representaciones de los barrios y las calles de la ciudad eran muy hermosas y realmente marcaban la pauta de lo que estaba sucediendo. Las descripciones del clima también fueron agradables, y me hicieron imaginar realmente cómo sería caminar por estas partes de España.
Los atuendos que Lucía usaba eran simplemente elegantes para mí. Me encantó especialmente un traje todo rosa que llevaba completo con un abrigo rosa intenso y accesorios rosas. Atada junto con los otros atuendos que usaba, ¡tuve la sensación de que a esta mujer realmente le gustaba el rosa!
While there are great things about the movie, there were also some things I didn’t like. One was that I feel there were many plot holes. Characters who were made a focus that don’t come back in the movie, or things being started but ending without making any sense was irritating. I felt like there were quite a few plot-holes in the movie. I also couldn’t really feel much chemistry between characters in the movie. A lot of the romantic relationships didn’t feel real, and felt kind of forced, while other relationships such as familial ones felt weird and awkward at times.
This is all just my opinion. Overall my family thought The Perfect Family was a funny watch and quite unique. Thanks for reading!

Si bien hay grandes cosas en la película, también hubo algunas cosas que no me gustaron. Una fue que siento que había muchos agujeros en la trama. Personajes a los que se les hizo un enfoque que no vuelve a aparecer en la película, o cosas que comenzaron pero terminaron sin tener ningún sentido, fue irritante. Sentí que había bastantes agujeros en la trama de la película. Tampoco pude sentir mucha química entre los personajes de la película. Muchas de las relaciones románticas no se sentían reales y se sentían un poco forzadas, mientras que otras relaciones, como las familiares, se sentían raras e incómodas a veces.
Todo esto es sólo mi opinión. En general, mi familia pensó que la Familia Perfecta era un reloj divertido y bastante único. ¡Gracias por leer!

How uncomfortable it is when that happens that others like and you are dissatisfied with a movie (or any function).
Sometimes, those gaps in the plots have a function, as to make the viewer go tying up ends, but it is a nuisance when the other part does not exist and remains in the air.
