This is a Chinese anime, that explores the life of a teenage assassin (Seven) who loses is memory and lives his new life as an hair-stylist. He uses is work tool a scissor to work as an assassin for hire for his boss and friend, he is quite skilled in the use of his tool, but however fails on his target as assassin, during the course of his work as assassin he meets unique characters whom he befriends, and all this culminate in to form of family and a desire to save their community attack and protect the bonds created and lives within the community. This desire to protect is increased where the past returns to haunt seven, the show delves into how seven engages with his present while trying to remember his past. And explores some unique characters and how they became who and what they are. It explores the power of friendship, the desire for survival, the vain of vengeance, the conflict of desire and purpose.

This series is a very fun and loveable show, with a mix of strong support cast. It follows the life of seven a very skilled assassin who loses his memory and now in a new community, takes the role of a hired assassin, who fails on all his target, it delves on choices made and consequences of decision, as new bonds and friendship are tested by the grief of past memories.

The shows delves into secret code of assassin which is to block out emotions, and the reality of vengeance. It also delves on the path to recovery and the need to face one’s past, own it and accept it’s consequence. The show provide a unique perspective as to how one cannot choose his family and the reality that one can cannot control ones emotional reaction to actions.

This a great show, and I recommend, though the graphic is more old school, the progression and narrative style is quite impeccable.
